Problem syncing Calendar on ALL devices

While my calendar and (any updates) is syncing on my iPad and Macbook Air, it's not syncing on my iPhone.  I turned it off and back on later but now there's NOTHING appearing on the calendar on my iPhone.  HELP!

Please try the following...
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

  • Sync calendars in all devices

    Hi. I can't make the Ical sync in all devices. If i write an event on the iphone or ipad it won't sync with the imac or vice versa. Not even via icloud. Any ideas? Thanks

  • IPad 2 not syncing Calendar to other devices through iCloud

    My iPad 2 is not syncing Calendar events to other devices through iCloud
    Devices:  MacBook Pro (Mountain Lion 10.8.2), iPhone 3GS (iOS 6.0), iPad 2 (iOS 6.0)
    iPad 2 Settings:
       iCloud settings: Calendars 'ON'
       Mail, Contacts, Calendars: Default Calendar:  Calendar; Sync:  All events
       Shared Calendar Events:  'ON'
       Within Calendar App:  Calendars checked:  Home, Calendar
    iPhone 3GS Settings:
       Identical to iPad 2 settings
    MacBook Pro iCloud Calendar: Home and Calendar checked
    I set up the following test event entries for the same date to see what was coming up in each device above:
      1-From iPad:  iPad to iCloud test
       2-From iPhone:  iPhone to iCloud test
       3-From iCloud.com:  iCloud.com to iCloud test
       4-From MacBook Pro:  Launchpad Calendar App to iCloud test
    (The last two entries may be redundant, but I wanted to cover all possibilities.)
    I then I checked the Calendar App for each of the above devices for "events" 1, 2, 3, and 4 above.
    The iPhone Calendar App had "events" 2, 3, and 4
    The MacBook Calendar App through LaunchPad had "events" 2, 3, and 4
    iCloud.com had "events" 2, 3, and 4
    The iPad, however, had "events" 1, 2, 3, and 4
    Only the iPad had all events entered from all devices.  This creates a problem, of course, since I almost always have the iPad with me, and that's where I make additions/changes to Calendar, Contacts, Notes, and Reminders. Dependability across the Cloud is pretty important!  What can I do to resolve this?
    N.B., Contacts and Reminders synced successfully across all devices through iCloud.  Notes, on the other hand, showed a different problem.  When I created a "Test from devices" note, the iPad and the iPhone showed the additions to the note from each device, including the MacBook.  The MacBook only showed what had been written from the MacBook.  Hmmmm...
    Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

  • Problem syncing calendars.

    I have a problem syncing calendars. When I sync my iphone with my home desktop computer, events will transfer from the computer to the phone but not vice-versa.  The calendars are in Outlook 2010 and the operating system is Windows 7. All updates in place.  I have changed the settings in itunes for all calendars to sync.  I have also lost bits of data in contacts such as phone numbers and addresses, or it is possible that duplicates were deleted that contain the additional info.  I suspect this is a different issue.  I would appreciate any help.
    Thanks,
    E.L. DuBose

    Try;
    System Preferences> Mobile Me> Sync>Advanced>Reset Sync Data and make sure the arrows go from your device/computer to the cloud

  • Sync fails on all devices

    My sync fails with all devices.
    iPhone 5
    iPod 5
    iPad 2
    all previously backed up. Ever since the first backup they have failed. several updates in iOS and iTunes. I am upgrading my HDD on my PC running Win 7. Every piece of software is a fresh install. And still fail. Tried changing USB ports. No change. Is there any log file that is on the devices that could block this, if it is corrupt? I've already done a hard reset on one of the phones and no change. This is rrrrreeeeeaaaalllyyy irritating. I love the phones and iPad. I'm really ticked at iTunes. Always had problems with it. It has always bogged my computer down and never shows you what its doing.
    Please help!!!!!!!!!

  • IPhone 4S IOS5 problems sync Calendar with Exchange 2003

    One of my users is having problems sync Calendar with a brand new iPhone 4S running IOS5 and our Exchange 2003 Server. If an item is updated in Outlook it will not reflect it in the iPhone or viceversa. New items show up in both, only the updates in notes or changing some text in the subject or other elements in one side is not updated in the other side. Any help will be greatly appreciate.

    Hi man, I got the same problem with my iPhone, but it has been solved..
    First, You need the Outlook 2003 or 2007 only, if you have a earlier version of this it isn't work.
    Second, You sould need to create a new PST file whit the Outlook Version 2003 or 2007, the file format must be on Unicode Format, no Outlook (97-2000) format, with this file format the import of calendar doesn't gonna be work.
    Third, You now have a PST whit Outlook 2003 or 2007 Version, you need to manually put your events on the calendar, Why? Cause if you just move it on the new calendar it gonna create and old instance of the event not a new instance, That's why iTunes doesn´t sync the calendar.
    I done all these and actually I can sync the calendar with my iphone.

  • Sync calendar from iOS5 device to SL iMac via wire, and Lion Macbook via iCloud?

    Hi all
    I want to have one calendar updating across all devices. In the past I've updated it either on my iPod Touch or iMac, and synced it via iTunes. My Leopard Macbook, and my wife's SL Macbook, then subscribed to this calendar via iCalX, a web server I found. So the laptoops couldn't update the calendar but could at least see it. The iMac and Touch could update it.
    So here comes iCloud. I now have a Lion Macbook Air, and I've updated my Touch and wife's iPhone iOS5.
    But the main calendar is still on the iMac. I want to sync it to the Touch, and I can't do that via iCoud because it doesn't support SL (wife's computer also runs SL). So I need to continue syncing via iTunes between the iMac and iTouch. But I also want to sync via iCloud from the Touch to the MBAir and iPhone (ideally, finally, the iPhone could then sync via ITunes to the SL Macbook...)
    Is this possible?
    Paul

    Just another question / idea:
    Can I sync the iphone contacts with itunes on the Macbook AND the Windows XP computer?
    I mean I could imagine the sync's as follows:
    from Windows XP:
    * Outlook 2010 contacts
    * Outlook 2010 calendar
    * music
    from Macbook:
    * contacts
    OR
    from Windows XP:
    * Outlook 2010 contacts
    * Outlook 2010 calendar
    from Macbook:
    * contacts
    * music
    How would I have to do the set-up?

  • Problem syncing calendars with MobileMe

    I have a weird problem with my 2nd gen iPod touch and MobileMe. I have several iCal calendars on my current generation MacBook Pro, MacPro, and iMac current generation, all of which are in sync with MobileMe. I have no problem syncing anything else with my iPod touch, except birthdays and my personal calendar.
    For some reason, all the events in my personal calendar are missing on my iPod touch and so are birthdays. I have been looking through all the options I can think of on iCal, Mac OS X 10.5.6 preferences, and on MobileMe, and the online helps to no avail.
    How do I get my personal events and birthdays back on my iPod touch? I tried power cycling it, but that didn't help. I tried resetting it and restoring the settings via iTunes. No go. All my software is current, including the iPod touch. Any ideas on how to fix this issue are welcome.

    NP.
    This is sort of the generic fix for this type of issue.
    We see it on Exchange, Mail, POP, etc.
    Affectionately known as the "flush & fill"
    Usually works.
    Glad it did for you.

  • Problem syncing calendars: "iPhone disconnected" error message

    Everything seems to work as expected except for calendars. Every time I sync, the progress bar in iTunes hangs on "syncing calendars" and eventually I get an error message that says "iTunes could not sync calendars to iPhone because the iPhone disconnected". All other items sync fine. Any advice?
    15" MBP   Mac OS X (10.4.10)

    I am having the same problem since last software upgrade for itunes and iphone. Apple phone support had me try the following: 1. delete all calendar events with neverending dates. Didn't fix problem. 2. Reinstall software upgrades. Didn't fix problem. 3. Restore iphone to factory settins and delete all old "corrupted" calendar imports from old Palm calendar. This seemed to work for a day. Then I tried syncing tonight and got same error message. Any body able to help?

  • How do I sync calendars across Apple devices?

    I have gone through the steps to use iCloud to sync calendars on my computers, iPhone, and iPad. However, not all calendar items on my iPhone show up on the Calendar on my iMac.  How can I ensure that events I add on one device are pushed to all other devices?  Thanks for any suggestions.

    Hey Walter Dalch,
    Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with iCloud calendar, in which events may not be pushed to all other devices. To isolate and troubleshoot these issues, it may be best to follow the steps outlined in this resource:

  • Sync Calendar across multiple devices

    My wife and I each have an iMac and iPhones. We would like to be able to have a common calendar across all of our devices. I suspect this can be done with iCloud. I think this can be done by both of us using the same iCloud account but then we would have to have common everything. We each have separate Contacts lists and really don't want to co-mingle them.
    Is it possible to have multiple iCloud accounts on the same device?
    Can someone point me to a place where I can read about how to set this up?
    Thanks a lot for the help.
    Adrian

    I have the same setup here for me any my wife. We each have a separate apple ID used for iCloud (but share one ID for iTunes).
    We each have personal calendars but we also have a shared one (named shared). On icloud.com we have that calendar shared where we can each add/edit the events. And it is shared accross our iPad and iPhones.

  • Problems syncing calendar

    On my Mac I have 4 calendars & only want to sync 2 of them. So in iTunes I selected 'Sync Calendars, Selected Calendars' then checked 2 of the calendars I wanted to sync (leaving the other 2 unchecked).
    But it's added all the calendars to the iPhone.
    So in iTunes I checked Calendar under 'Replace information on this iPhone' & synced again. I expected it to wipe the calendars on the iPhone & just add the 2 calendars I selected in iTunes, but it still has all my calendars on the iPhone.
    How do I get rid of the unwanted calendars on there?

    Try opening isync -> isync preferences in your applications folder. In the isync preferneces there is a button to reset sync history.
    Then in ical create a new blank calendar. call it iphone or test.
    Open itunes and info tab set the iphone to only sync the new blank calendar and to replace all calendar data on iphone.
    this should clear out any events on the iphone.
    Now try syncing one of your calendars back to the iphone.
    If the calendar will not sync, try moving some of the events to the new test calendar created.
    If the events moved to the new calendar sync fine, then there is an issue with that particular calendar.
    Hope this helps

  • Syncing email on all devices?

    Hello!
    Ever since I have the new iphone I need to delete emails on different devices, it no longer deletes an email in my yahoo account if I just do it from 1 device, so I have to go to yahoo from each device and delete it! How do I change this?
    Thanks
    BJ

    You must access your Yahoo account as an IMAP account with each device.
    Unless all devices are iOS devices, you won't be able to.

  • Problems Syncing Files to Blackberry Device

    I got a Blackberry 9800 Torch today. I've downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Software program for my Mac, and I managed to put 20 songs onto the Blackberry, but when I've tried to add more since then, I keep getting a message which states
    "This BlackBerry® device requires write permissions on your media card to sync your media files."
    I have no idea how to solve this problem, and have tried many different things, but still no change. Can anyone help me out at all?
