Problem That Might Be Common Place. Please Help!
OK so i finally was able to update my ipod Vidoe 30GB to the new Version 1.1.2. I also have the latest version of itunes installed. The problem i am having is that my itunes doesnt recognize my ipod. i tried most everything that was suppose to help but nothing seems to work.

i posted it at the bottom. this seems to be a commonplace problem with no solution in sight. i wish apple would fix this soon!!

Problem in comparision of two strings.please help..
I am retriving a string password from database and another string from html(user entered one).when i am printing those two strings its printing same strings.But whenever i am comparing strings and printing its not showing equal it is printing as false.what might be the reason.please help me regarding this.Thank you in advance.My cosing is as follows:

System.out.println("false....");once you got two string objects ......forget for where they are comming (database or html0 ....focus on those objects ....do the following
1) use trim() function on both strings which removes the whitespaces from front and end
2) use equalsIgnoreCase
if the problem still persists ....then forget your code and sue the SUN people -
I do not use or have not signed up for a MobileMe Account but I am getting duplicates in my iCal for some reason. All discussions I read are pointing to the MobileMe being the problem but it is not. Please help me. There must be another reason all my entries appear twice.

My computer(A toshiba) crashed and when I bought a new computer(a Mac), my previous apple ID does not word and I was only able to get songs that I bought in 2004. I am unable to authorize my account to get to songs that I purchased recently. Please help.

While this won't help if you are having password problems, I did want to point out that you do not need to access old machines to de-authorize them. Once you are signed in at the iTunes store, access "my account" by clicking on your username in the top navigation bar. Then "manage devices". You can remove any old machines that way. -

I have successfully loaded a gift card worth10.00 $ but when i try to use in to buy gems in clash of clans it says "insufficient st store credits" or "please contact apple..." even though im just getting gems that s only worth 5$ .please help.
The problem is im from the philippines and calling US FROM HERE WILL COST ME EVEN MORE FOR A 10 dollar gift card. I wondering if i can just email the support etc. or whatever online resource they have. Thanks

Else the only option you have is to fight with the Apple Store "geniuses" to get a free replacement for out of warranty 4S devices. Or try a third party repair like iFixit. The wifi chip might cost you 60-80$ but it is better than paying Apple 200$.
Overheating is the culprit in 4S devices. And its been getting worse with ever successive iOS 7 update. I think 7.0.4 was the final nail in the coffin.
They are not getting my money anymore.. I've had iPhones every since they launched... but no more. Feels like a dead investment after facing this issue. I can never sell my iPhone 4S even if I want to. There have been cases where users just sold their 4S devices, the new owner updated to 7.0.4, wifi stopped working and the seller had to give a refund.
I'm basically sitting on a 650$ white brick. Hmm... I wonder if white bricks sell higher than the standard red bricks

TBH, I can't get a replacement because I am in India where 4S was never launched as an unlocked device and there are no Apple retail stores. Only resellers here like Vodafone/Reliance/Airtel. My iPod 2G doesn't turn on. It is out of battery, but when I connect it to my charger it just continues to show the apple logo. It did that for 3hours straight. Please HELP!
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

If the screen shows a plug going to itunes, then you have no choice, It's in recovery mode. You'll be given the chance to restore from a backup either from itunes or icloud.
I assume when you got the message to update (was this for the ios or update some apps?), that was before the device when dead. At any rate, doing a restore does not change the ios. -
Until recently I was able to send images in the body of my Yahoo emails. Now, I am getting the message "This message has been truncated", and the email does not go through. I do not have this problem using IE. Could you please help? Thank you.
