Hi,
Jason Straub's excellent [Flexible Web Service API|http://jastraub.blogspot.com/2008/06/flexible-web-service-api.html] could be just what you need.
The blog posting also describes how to integrate the code into your page.

Hi
Can we call web service through loop, If so how we can do.
I wanted to transfer n records ex:100. to pass one record i need to call web service, like that to pass 100 records i need to call 100 times webservices and store results of each.
Have created web reference and form so that it can send one record on submit and return's result to text box.
I need to call this Web Service Request     page process through another plsql process.
How can we resolve this.

    Hi,
    you need to provide a better description of what you did (implementation) and what you want (use case). All I can see from your question is that you have a class cast issue.

  • Cant Call Web service Through OIM adapter

    Hi, I am trying to call A web service using A Axis2 client in Java , but i get a error saying "input message for a required feild is null".
    However if i try to use a non Axis2 client then it works fine ..
    Please suggest any solutions?

    I will suggest you first test your OIM adapter code into your IDE or WL server:
    If you try using your Eclipse or JDeveloper can you call WS? Into JDeveloper you can tes using: Right click into WS class and 'Creating a WS Client' or just running a 'Test WebSevices' option. Just simulate using JDeveloper+OIM codes and libs it should work.
    Right now I am doing this above and I am able to test my OIM WS code fine.
    Another way is deploy your WS OIM code into WebLogic. Using WebLogic 'development mode' you should see two links: A service called 'Test Client' that you can test it and second one with just WSDL link.
    I hope this helps,

  • Getting error while calling Web service in PB 12.5

    Hi All,
    I am trying to call web service through my PB 12.5 but getting error like "Window sdk for .net framework 4.0 was not installed. please install befor use this feature." though I had installed window sdk . net framework 4.0.
    one more thing do we required .wsdl file to call web service or only path is ok?
    please help me out here.
    Thanks,
    Pralhad

    Hi Pralhad,
    From the Application Techniques manual, Building a Web Services Client, it states the following:
    The WSDL file for you specify in the wizard or painter must have:
    Services/Binding entries
    The Targetnamespace
    attribute defined in its Schema element
    No circular references (an example of a “circular reference” is a structure
    that includes itself as a child class member)
    If PowerBuilder encounters a problem parsing the WSDL file, it reports the
    error in an error message box.
    Thank you.

  • Calling Web services in OAF

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement to call web service through OAF.
    Is it possible to call from OAF.....?
    If possible can any body give some steps how to call.............?
    Thanks,
    UMA.

    Uma,
    If your are working on R12, calling web service is very easy. There is a stub generation wizard in Jdeveloper, where you just need to provide url for the web service, and it will automatically generate the stub classes. This stub class can then be used like normal java classes in your code. If you are working on 11i, then its a little tricky task, where you need to import some jar files for supporting your stubb(proxy) casses. There jar file refrence is then also needed to be added in jserv.properties file on Apache Jserv on 11i.

  • Calling a web service through SSL via a stand alone java class

    HI,
    I am trying to call a web service through SSL via a simple stand alone java client.
    I have imported the SSL certificate in my keystore by using the keytool -import command.
    Basically I want to add a user to a group on the server. Say I add a user user 1 to group group 1 using an admin userid and password. All these values are set in an xml file which I send to the server while calling the server. I pass the web service URL, the soap action name and the xml to post as the command line arguments to the java client.
    My xml file(Add.xml) that is posted looks like :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope
    xmlns:xsi = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:SOAP-ENC = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
    xmlns:SOAP-ENV = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:xsd = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema"

    <namesp1:modifyGroupOperation xmlns:namesp1 = "/services/modifyGroup/modifyGroupOp">

    <password>adminPassword</password>

    <userName>user1</userName>
    </users>
    </namesp1:modifyGroupOperation>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    I call the client as:
    java PostXML https://com.webservice.com/services/modifyGroup "/services/modifyGroup/modifyGroupOp" Add.xml
    I my client, I have set the following:
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", "C:\\Program Files\\Java\\jre1.5.0_12\\lib\\security\\cacerts");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "password");

  • Problem call Web Service SAML on PI 7.0

    Hi experts,
    I have a problem very estrange on one scenario and maybe somebody could help me:
    Our PI version is 7.0.
    The BPM has got the following steps:
    - Call WebService for get the SAML. Message Synchronous with request and response Authentification.
    - We add the Authentification Response on Envelope message.
    - Call web Service with Envelope, inside of this one there is the Authentification (step 1).
    The las Web Service always returns that the Authentification is error.
    We execute the same steps manually using SAOPGui program ( a free program for test WebService ) and the same steps works.. and the structures are the same, but on PI 7.0 never works.
    We researh on forums and we have seen that the SAML Authentification is soported only for PI 7.1.
    Could anybody confirm it? It is possible use SAML Authentification on PI 7.0? Are there other process to execute a SAML WebService using PI 7.0?
    Any response or any idea will be very appreciated.
    Thank you very much...

    http://www.business-intelligence-quotient.com/?p=1466

  • Problem including: thread, native calls, web service

    I have the following problem:
    There is web service (myService) running on a 2-processor machine
    The web service starts a thread (myThread)
    The thread's run calls a native method (myNative).
    The implementation of the native method simply calls a function (myFunc).
    The web service starts the thread and waits for it to end (with join() ).
    The above are summarized in the following:
    myService
    myThread.run()
    myNative()
    myFunc()
    The problem is:
    it seems that while myThread has ended its execution, the myNative function keeps running.
    (e.g. messages of myNative are printed after the end of the execution of myThread)
    Could this be related to the fact that the machine has 2 processors?
    What could be the cause?
    Thank you in advance.

    This is most likely caused by how the native processes standard output streams are implemented. Try using some other form of feedback (i.e. write to a file, or throw up a user dialog box) and you'll most likely see that the native method is indeed returning when you think it should, but the native output stream doesn't show up until later.

  • Calling a WSSE Enabled Web Service Through a Java Proxy Class

    I am trying to create a client that can access a WSSE enabled web service through
    the generated java proxy. For now all I am asking for in the .wsse file is the
    username and password with the line <token tokenType="username"/>. In the client
    I am setting the username and password token exactly as the BEA documentation
    describes:
    UserInfo ui = new UserInfo("myuser", "mypassword");
    session.setAttribute(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_USERINFO, ui);
    Yet I am getting the following error message when I try to run the client:
    java.rmi.RemoteException: SOAP Fault:javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException:
    EJB Exception: ; nested exception is:
    com.bea.wlw.runtime.jws.wssecurity.exception.WLWWSSEException: Policy
    requires Message to contain UsernameToken, UsernameToken not found in the Message.
    Can anyone tell me what I am missing?
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi John,
    In your standalone client, use the following two properties to send a
    user name and password to the service so that the client can
    authenticate itself: javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.username
    javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.password
    See the docs [1]
    Hope this helps,
    Bruce
