Problem to edit Custom section for Italian users

Hi,
In our system we have some users are set Italian as UI language in their profile.
These users aren't able to edit custom sections when these Custom Sections are on a GSM spec.
But the same users are able to edit the CS after I change UI Language in English.
If you need further explanation please let me know.

I’ll try to better explain.
Unfortunately I don't use SLE.
With the same user:
1 - I open a GSM spec
2 - I click on Extended attribute Tab
UI English: Internet Explorer opens properly the page
UI Italian: Internet Explorer shows me "error on page" (at the bottom left corner) but opens the page anyway.
3 - I add a Custom Section (System works both in English and in Italian)
the issue comes when I try to edit section:
- UI English = "Edit Section" >> the system works properly
- UI Italian = "Modifica Sezione" >> the system doesn't works and shows me "error on page" (at the bottom left corner).

Problem in assigning custom role to a user

Can anyone tell me how to assign a custom role to a user?
I have created a set of IViews which are assigned to a workset and the workset is assigned to a new role.
I assign this new role to my user account.
But, I am not getting the role which I have assigned to my user account.
What am I missing???

can integrate with other systems by adding custom providers. So with that confidence, i have started writing a connector as mentioned below.
Step - 1: Added new provider xml in the below path

Step – 3: Written a class to fetch the tasks from BizAgi System which has method to provide the task data.
But I’m not able to feed those tasks in the class written in Step – 2 as I’m able to find any method which will take Tasks as Input and I’m not
sure about the format of tasks.
I’m able to debug the provider, and the breakpoint hitting in only one method and two properties.
(LocalizedProviderName, ProviderName, GetDashboardExtensionInfo).
Can you please help me to proceed further in implementing the above solution?

Hi Mahesh,
Although the implementation of work management service application is based on the provider model, I reckon the current SP 2013 RTM does not support custom providers. Only SharePoint task lists, Project server and MS Exchange are supported for now.

Problem in second level navigation for some users.

We have a group with few users, we have assigned certain roles to that group, all the roles are visible to all but the order of second level navigatin has changed for some users and not for all. Please suggest some solution.

Is there any merging of roles going on?
When you assign new roles, does the 2nd level navigation contain the same nodes but in a different order, or are there additional nodes added?
Perhaps you can explain in more detail the set up.

The link your professor provided only downloads, and does not install anything. Look for it in the Downloads folder. The folder they download is zipped, and it may un-zip automatically. They expect you to drag the unzipped 'Eclipse' folder to a location you find convenient.
The package it downloads is a fairly old 32-bit version for Mac OS X 10.5 or later. The link to the Eclipse developer site has newer versions including a 64-bit version if you have a Mac running 64-bit kernel or 10.8 or later.
AS Kappy suggests, executing eclipse.app should give you error messages that point out any deficiencies.

I have been unable to access my purchased music on my new computer (the old one crashed before I could back up my purchased itunes music). I clicked "check for purchases," and received one of several television shows I purchased and NONE of the dozons of songs and albums. When I clicked "check for purchases" again, a box came up that said "all purchases have been downloaded for this account." Does Apple really not allow you to recover your purchased music in this situation? Does Apple really put profits ahead of customer satisfaction to the extent that they've eliminated phone customer service for itunes altogether? Well, I know the answer to the second question from research is yes. How sad. But can anyone help me with the first Q? Is all my purchased music really gone permanently? Thanks. -Matt

Apple's policy is clear: iTS purchases can be downloaded only once. It is your responsibility to make back-ups.
That being said, at their discretion they have made one-time exceptions to this policy. You can ask for an exception by submitting the form at the bottom of this page:

Problem in filling Custom segment data using User Exit for ZORDERS05

I am using Process Code SD10 to generate the custom Idoc ZORDERS05.
The function module used is IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP.
I am able to succesfully generate the Custom Idoc (VA02->Extras->Header->Edit) but unable to populate the custom segments in the IDOC.
I have tried to write the code in User Exit EXIT_SAPLVEDC_003 -> ZXVEDU15. But still I'm unable to populate the Z segments.
Even though I place a break point in the FM or in the User Exit during the generation of Idoc the control doesn't stop in FM nor in the User Exit.
I am unable to understand how to go about this.
Can anybody please help me with this?

Okay I under what you are speaking about NACE.
Yes that configuration has been done and I am sucessfully able to generate the IDOC.
But even though I know that in FM IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP, I have to write code in User Exit EXIT_SAPLVEDC_003 to populate the Z segments; I'm unable to understand y the control doesn't pick the FM and Exit.
Right now I have code in the Exit to fill Z segments.

Problems enabling editing of parameters for effects in Captivate 5

Has anyone managed to successfully implement the instructions in:

I have tried and the values of the parameters are not read. For example, I created my own version of Fly In From Bottom Right.xml to allow customization of the x value:

This is successfully parsed but the value is not taken into account in the animation. It seems to be set to 0, regardless of what I set it to in the XML and Captivate shows the property as editable but no matter what you enter it does not accept it and returns to 0.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I'm having the same problem with this that David has. It doesn't matter what parameter I change the animation behaves exactly the same.
I am attempting to have an image fly out left however, the image only partially 'leaves the screen'. I have the effect tied to a button in an attempt to give my learners a way to change from one 'monitor screen' to another. If I click the button twice the image will fully leave the screen.
I would rather accomplish this effect with a single button press.
I could just build this in Flash (and ultimately will do so) but if I can accomplish it within Cp that would be great. The rest of my team isn't Flash savvy and I would like to have everyone able to edit the final product if necessary.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Urgent : Problem with Editable ALV Grid for Quantity and Currency Fields

Hi All,
I am using Editable ALV Grid display and have quantity and value as editable fields in the display.
When user changes these values these values are not changing properly .
For the quantity field the domain is MENG13 with 3 deciamal places and here if we enter 500 it takes it as 0.500 .
The same problem is for the currency field. Here the Domain is WERT7 with 3 decimal places.
Here also it takes last 2 digits after decimal places by default.
Please advice how to get proper values in this case from ALV editable fields.

for all the currency field , it will display like that only.
u have to manipulate uin program before displaying.
if they are giving 500, in program multiply with 100 and move it to table.
when u are getting from table, divinde and display.
this is what I am doing.

Need Direction to Edit Custom Reports for Crystal 8.5

I'm pretty new to crystal and I have the need to edit a few of our custom reports. I have a report called "Summary of Transactions by Dept". This pulls the data and then groups the information by dept. I want to have it pull the same data but with a minor tweak, I need to have it grouped by job.
I added the "Job" table and then I linked it to a "tran" table. I'm pretty sure I linked the tables correctly, I looked at how the "dept" table was linked and did the same.
I then changed the groups to group by "job description". When I try and refresh the data I get nothing. Can anyone explain why this happens?

Thanks for your help guys... I figured out that I needed to "set the location" for the report. It needed to look at the database that the program was looking at. I appreciate the help.
I have a new problem I am trying to solve. I was able to create the custom report that I needed, but with one problem. The report is a Transaction summary by Job Description report. The issue is that the data being pulled for past transactions is using the current item pricing (past prices were less expensive). This is only a problem if the item existed at another price in the past. So when you total the item cost it shows up more expensive then it really was on some items.
Ex. Item123
On 05/01/2008 cost $4.00
Current pricing for the item is $5.00
When I run the report for 05/01/2008 - 05/31/2008, asssuming I used 2 pieces. The report generates a total cost of $10.00 (when it really only cost $8.00 because that was the cost at the time of issue.)
Any idea's?

However,this may not control the same custom field on the page based on user permissions.

Problem in triggering the code for CO02 User Exit

I am using the code for the Tcode CO02 (User Exit) and i am facing a problem that when i am using the code as a normal program it is executing fine and displaying the pop up window and showing the data in it.
But when i am using that code in the USER EXIT code it is not trigerring that pop up window.

Problems with a certain program for existing users

Hello,
We have problems with a third party software application. We have installed this software program on a terminal server (server 2003 32bit) and when we open this software with a existing user account the application crashes with the following entry in the
eventviewer:
Application Error 100
Faulting application ProTime.exe, version 4.1.0.9, faulting module msvbvm60.dll, version 6.0.97.82, fault address 0x000fd0d9.

We have checked the eventlog on the server but the only error that we see is the application error 100 when we open the program. Also we checked the rights on the program's database and folders but that doesn't help either.
The last thing we did was;
- Installing the software on a brand new virtual server with server 2003 x86 (no other software installed)
- Installing the software on a new virtual machine with server 2008 r2 x64 (no other software installed)
The strange thing is when we change something in the compatibility mode setting for example run as windows xp then we can run the program just fine but when the user logs off and log on again it doesn't work until you change something at the compatibility
mode setting (doesn't mather which setting)
When we create a new domain user then the software works properly without any settings changed.
Any idea what could cause this problem?

Sorry for the late response. We think so, atleast the software company says it is.
We should not use the compat. mode because the application is not working on server 2003 x86, server 2003 x64, server 2008 r2.
It is just really strange. Software company has no clue how to fix this problem and they say it is caused by the active directory because when we add a new user then the application starts properly. User accounts created a long time ago are not able to start
the application.
