My print apps will not connect to the internet ENVY 100 e-All-in-One Printer series - D410 (CN517A)
The printer is connected and all other functions are working, it is just the apps get a connection error when I try to connect.

Check out this document. It's about this specific error. I had the same error message and downloaded all the updates. Now the web apps are working.

Safari won't load after installing Mountain Lion. If I shut down and unplug the internet connection for a minute, it starts working again. But only for awhile.

If you have not tried Open DNS, go here. Open DNS
Just click the computer icon and follow the instructions.
Empty the Cache. To empty the cache memory go to the Safari menu and click 'Empty Cache
Reset Safari go to the Safari menu and click 'Reset Safari.. select the first 5 buttons and click Reset.
To delete Safari's icon cache using the Finder, open your user folder, navigate to ~/Library/Safari/Icons and delete its contents.

No internet connection for non-admin users

Have upgraded to Yosemite and now the internet connection for users with parental controls have stopped working. Under Mavericks there was no problem with the settings.
If I log into an admin account on the same machine then the wifi works fine. Under the parental controlled account wifi is connected but any web based services can't connect and can't browse to any page.
Only option at this point would be to change accounts over to admin which would not be ideal.
Any ideas?

Next to the "check for updates" button it says iTunes will automatically check on a certain day (that day being tomorrow) but what if I want to check before that day to make sure everything is up to date
Then click on the Check for updates button.
Note that this is for the iPod updates only. This doesn't check for updates to iTunes.
iTunes pref -> General is where you set to check for iTunes updates.
Make sure your firewalls (Windows, Norton, router)allow iTunes access.

I am working with Oracle 10g Database Release 2 in windows XP professional. I am trying to create an ODBC connection for oracle but become failure because its generating the following errors:
system error code 998
could not locate the setup or translator library
Please help me how can I solve this problem and create the ODBC connection for oracle 10g database.

The odbc driver config routine will search directories listed in PATH variable for necessary libraries (Client dll's). If some library fails to load (from e.g. oraoci*.dll or oraclient10.dll) it will probably error out, as in your case.
Are you creating the odbc dsn on the databse server host or on some other machine? I.e. are you using the db host as a client or not?

I had the same issue and I'm running Windows 7. Tried working with technical support for several hours but they were no help. They just had me doing the same things over and over, offering no real answers. I finally got fed up and have decided to return my product for a full refund.

Strange problem with the internet connection

Hello,
I've a strange problem with the network connection , I have bought a Iphone 3g in Italy in date 31st
October 2010. Now in Italy I have just subscribed a telephone rental with Wind company, where there is an unlimited internet service. The problem is that in my Iphone there is not the line.
All this is strange because I receive the messages from social networks (like facebook and msn) but I cannot open tha page for the internet connection. I have gone to Apple store and I have tried to put my SIM in an other phone (iphone 3g or 3gs): my SIM is perfectly working.
The problem is only for the internet connection on my phone because wifi connection is good.

If it is WEP, one of the problems is that the actual standard relies on a 10 character HEX key for 40bit WEP and a 26 character HEX key for 128bit WEP. If you are purchasing the movie, then once the movie has completed downloading, an Internet connection will not longer be needed. That should apply to rentals as well, but people report from time to time that even after the rental has downloaded iTunes still asks to connect to the iTunes Store.

The only way is to connect the iPod to a computer with has an internet connection and iTunes and restore the iPod. Use as friiend's computer or make an appointment at ther Geniuds Bar of an Apple store.
