If you are on Windows, you can download and install the CreatePDF Desktop Printer, which would allow you to "print" to PDF from Word. You'll find a link to the installer on the CreatePDF page at https://cloud.acrobat.com. Here are the instructions for installing it: Using Adobe PDF Pack

You just sign in and start using it.
So your problem leads me to think you may be trying to install something entirely different - perhaps Acrobat Pro.

When you no longer need the Adobe software on a computer or you wish to move it to another one, you should deactivate the software.

I subscribed for Adobe PDF Pack yesterday. When I try to combine PDF files I getting Error message.

Where is the sign-in box for Adobe PDF Pack?

My plan is an Adobe pdf pack. I used to be able to open a pdf, sign into my account and then convert, sign, etc. Now I cannot see the sign in option at all. I just got a new hard drive and installed Microsoft office 2010. Any suggestions?

Sign-in where: in Adobe Reader, or on the PDF Pack website?
On Adobe Reader there is no sign-in option; you just provide your Adobe ID & password in the Preferences (Adobe Online Services) panel.

Adobe pdf pack monthly subscription not working

My adobe pdf pack monthly subscription has never worked. I can see 'Adobe createPDF desktop printer' as a printer option but when I click print I get the following message (for a split second) Printing..... now printing page 2 of Microsoft Office Outlook Memo Style on the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop printer - though nothing then happens. I am not given an option of where to save the pdf and I canot see that it has just automatically saved the pdf on my hardrive or desktop.
Any help appreciated.

What is the version of Acrobat installed on your machine. Adobe PDF printer gets installed with Acrobat.
Have you tried to install latest updates for Acrobat.

I called 1-800-833-6687 twice and each time I was told that there was no security issue with Adobe PDF Pack because it was software that I downloaded to my computer and my documents, when being converted, would never leave my computer. The website seems to say something very different than that. Is the statement I was told correct?? If that is so, am I paying each month to keep a program on my computer??

You can log in at https://createpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html with your Adobe ID and password or signin from Reader(by selecting "Tools" at top right coner then click "Signin" link).
