Problem to install modul SCXI 1112 with a 1000DC chassis

I want to install the module SCXi 1112 with the chassis 1000DC but when I test the chassis with NI Max, it don t find the module.I connect the chassis to a MIO 6025E. One precision, I have control the connection between the two elements and the autodetection don t find the module
warning message Failed to find Slot 1 is empty

The first step is to make sure that the NI-DAQ driver is installed properly and that your DAQ board (6025E) is working properly.
Then, refer to page 2-6 and 2-7 of the SCXI 1112 User Manual. It gives some troubleshooting help for the error you are receiving.

You may also want to try installing the 2 modules separately and install them in different slots to rule out which module or slot is causing a problem.

Hi ,
I would like to add some of my observations
1. I checked in jcmon that SDM status is showing stopped.
2.I tried to start the SDM by executing the command StartServer.sh and got message that it was started successfully but in jcmon it is still showing as "stopped".
I am not sure whether the above problem is due to this.
Additionally, I would like to mention that my JDK version is 1.4.2_17 and platform is HP-UX11.31

While installing ECC only with ABAP+JAVA , I did not find any problem but this time I am facing the problem.

N.B. I just now checked the file system size of my ECC6.0 installation with ABAP+JAVA which finished successfully.There also the device file system was full.So, it seems that this is not the problem.

Problem when Installing from Existing Linux with Arch's Image

Hey!
I'm just getting started with Arch Linux. I made a 20GB unallocated space between my Win7 and Ubuntu partitions, created a new ext4 partition and I'm currently following this guide ("another method" section) in order to install my first attempt of Arch Linux.
I'm on a 64-bit Ubuntu and want to install a 64-bit Arch Linux too, so I'm using the image archlinux-2011.08.19-core-x86_64.iso and in the process of following the instructions in the mentioned guide, I replaced i686 by x86_64.
The problem comes up when I try to do the chrooting, where I get:
chroot: failed to run command `/bin/bash': No such file or directory
Any idea what could I be doing wrong?

Ok, I had just messed up when mounting the different directories. Sorry for the noise...
Anyway, found more errors when running:
aif -p interactive
about not finding /lib/modules/3.0.0-13-generic/modules.dep... what makes me think that this guide is intended to be followed when running also an Arch as the Existing Linux.
I think I'll just go with the flash drive option...

Problems after installing 10.4.5 with CPUDirector 2.3b3

Well, recently the new version of CPUDirector was released and I immediately went ahead and installed 10.4.5. Sadly, upon restart it froze. Starting up with verbose mode, I found out that it kept freezing when it got to a message saying basically "CPU 0 came in (I am CPU 0)".
I started up in safe mode and set the processor to 500MHz in the hopes that it would make a difference. It still froze. So, I went in safe mode and tried to deinstall CPUDirector. Sadly, it only gave errors and didn't actually remove it. I think that I have to start up properly, not in safe mode, to remove it. A sad paradox is that I can't start up properly until I have it removed.
I thought about starting up in Single-user mode to try to fix it, but realized that I didn't know what to do. Didn't have to mess around with this with OS 9.
Nevertheless, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas with what I should do. If it comes to it, does anyone know where I can get the 10.4.4 installed from if I need to reinstall OS X and stick with 10.4.4?

Well, I would like to say that I solved the problem with my 1337 skillz but I didn't. I just fiddled around enough and restarted enough. Everything seems to be just fine and dandy now.

I have a big problem to install on my computer with mainboard MSI VIA P4M266A a graphic card model MATROX Millennium g550. The mainboard mounts a integrated graphic card.
if i connect the graphic card on the AGP port and reboot the Pc without change nothing in the BIOS the monitor doesn't work either the integrated vga port neither Matrox vga port, the messagge that i read is "NO SIGNAL"
Which settings i must change to BIOS???

It means there is no bootable system on the drive. If you still have access to the old drive, then I suggest you boot from it then clone it to the new internal drive. Use OPTION boot to boot from the Recovery HD on the old drive:
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
     1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu then press the Continue
         button.
     2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
     3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
     4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it
         to the Destination entry field.
     5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to
         the Source entry field.
     6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Source means the external old drive. Destination means the new internal drive.

Making a symlink did the trick.
I'll try to edit the Makefile and see if can get that to work too before I submit this as a package.
Oh, and of course I have to figure out how make a package in the first place.
So....I guess I should go do some reading eh?

SCXI-1112 thermocouple with Autozero.vi

Please the following doubt I have on the example program "SCXI-1112 thermocouple with Autozero.vi".
In the vi's first sequence ground readings for each channel is found out and it is available in a 1D array. Each element in the 1D array corresponds to each channel's ground reading. These zero readings of each channels are to be substacted from each channel's subsequent data. But it is not doing so. In the second sequence since a column is indexed (which corresponds to one channel data) actual substraction is taking place between a channel's data and all channels ground readings available from first sequence. which is wrong.
Kindly clarify the above doubt.

You are correct. This example needs to be modified. The array of offset data should be indexed so that only one scalar value is subtracted from each element in the array of data from one channel. I have attached a modified version of the example.
