  • Problem when recording the data using BDC for Tcode CJ02.

    Dear Experts,
When i am trying to record the data for TCODE : CJ02 i need to enter the project  Definition and enter the WBS element it takes me to the screen then i should select the WBS element and attach a file for that selected WBS element . The option for me to attach the attachment of file  will be available on the application area(Services for the Object).
Now the problem when i try to do recording in SHDB this option like create attachement is not visible in the recodring . Kindly suggest me what can i do such that i attach the file for the particular project def and WBS element.
Either suggest any function module or other procedure .......
    Regards,
    Sana.

    Hi,
in BDC each and every action is recording. If your press enter in same screen that also recorded once aging may be this is your case repeating field values will appear. we can solve the problem for repeat fields like below.
suppose in your excel having repeated field X1 X2 X3 the X2 contains repeated field X3 means delete the X3 field.
Now In your itab having X1 and X2 fields. While in the LOOP the ITAB pass the X2 field to repeated the fields.
    LOOP at ITAB to WA.
    CLEAR bdcdata_wa.
    bdcdata_wa-fnam = 'BDC_CURSOR'.
    bdcdata_wa-fval = 'RM08M-EBELN'.
    APPEND bdcdata_wa TO bdcdata_tab.
    CLEAR bdcdata_wa.
    bdcdata_wa-fnam = 'INVFO-BLDAT'.
    bdcdata_wa-fval = wa-X2." 1st time pass the X2 fields
    APPEND bdcdata_wa TO bdcdata_tab.
    CLEAR bdcdata_wa.
    bdcdata_wa-fnam = 'INVFO-BLDAT'.
bdcdata_wa-fval = wa-X2." pass the same value to repeated field
    APPEND bdcdata_wa TO bdcdata_tab.
    Endloop.
    Hope you can understand.

  • Problems Login to the CMC as administrator

    Hi
Everyday first attempt to login to CMC fails with following error. However immediate attempt works fine. Then rest of the day I can login without any problems. Next day same story! Can someone tell me why this happens and how to resolve this.
"Unable to connect to cluster @<Server Name>.COM to retrieve updated CMS member list. Logon cannot continue. "
    Thanks

    Hi David
    thanks for the prompt reply.
Is there any problem if I get my administrator to not restart this server/service every night (if that is possible)?
You mentioned I need to use real CMS name, can you elaborate?
This is our new installation and we are still learning.
Its interesting you provided solution for both CMC and Infoview, however I just noticed that for Infoview I don't have any problem logging in first time.
    Why would that be?
    Thanks

  • Email Problems - MX Record the cause?

    Hi all,
I am having a major problem with email for a site we have just launched. The client used to host their Wordpress website through BlueHost, using Automattic's own domain management tool (which allows NS/DNS changes). They were using GMail for their email ([email protected]) and had altered the MX record to point their email to GMail.
Anyway, we set the nameservers to the BC nameservers on Thursday, altering the NS records using Automattic's domain tools. The website went across okay, with 12 hours it was showing the BC website. The problem we are having is the email. I set up sales@ on the BC system and can successfully use this through the BC webmail system, although we have had a couple of emails go astray. The other email address the client has is bookings@ which I can't add just now because she had used this address to set up a partner trial months ago (I have asked Adobe to remove this address). I am currently waiting for the BC guys to remove this so I can go in to the BC admin and add it as an email address of the new site.
Here is the weird bit; when you send an email to bookings@ it shows up in the GMail account! How is it possible that emails sent to two accounts on the same server can go to two different servers?! Apparently the GMail bookings@ isn't sending out consistently, sometimes people get the email, sometimes not. Does it sound like there's some sort of conflict?
We bascially want sales@ and bookings@ to run on the BC system and to drop the GMail service. Any ideas?
    Here is the lookup: http://who.is/dns/twinemarketing.com/
    Cheers
    Paul

    Hey Paul,
I believe that we've sorted this out for you today. Let us know if you need further help.

  • SharePoint 2010 web analytics not working - not all web requests hitting the logging database

Hi there, I have 2 windows 2008 web front end servers, 1 windows 2008 application server and 2 clustered windows 2008, SQL Server 2008 SP2 clustered servers in my farm.
I am having trouble getting Web Analytics configured and googled for days and followed everything I have found but still no luck.  The problem is that the logging database is only logging requests to Central admin URL only but if I hit any other
site in my farm it doesn't log in the database.  Hence why I am not getting any reports in the front end.
These are also missing from the ULS logs too.  Only central admin entries in the logs.
    Anyone seen this before?
    Thanks

    Hi CharlieBoy,
Please enable the verbose ULS log for category "Web Analytics Services category", then see if there are more related ULS log message appearing (may need to wait a day).
Also check the following 2 articles about troubleshooting the web analytics issue, which should be helpful.

  • Realtek HD audio problem when recording

    Hello guys;
Been trying to do some recording for the first time since the OC was rebuilt. New specs as below.
(By the way, I couldn't get any sound at all until I reinstalled the UAA bus driver..., so it's thanks to this forum that I got sound in the first place!)
Anyway, the problem I now have is that basically the record level is way too high. I use Steinberg Clean 5.0 and was finding that although I could change the levels in the software, whatever level I recorded at I was suffering extreme amounts of clipping/distortion. (I should mention that the input is from a good quality hifi, I used it for many years for recording with my previous PC incarnation using my KT6 delta rig).
After much trial and error, I found that the only way to stop this is to have the recording sound level in volume set to - well it isn't numbered - it would be about 10%. I also discovered that although master recording level is adjustable the others  - CD, mic, line, mix are greyed out.
The master level is really difficult to set  (as I write I just discovered it's still distorting and I'll have to edged it down another couple of % towards zero), so I really want to change the "line" record level, but as I said it's greyed out.
In Realtek sound manager it's similar, in the record section there's an overall level control but no individual adjustments for record, only playback.
    Incidentally playback works just fine!
Realtek drivers are latest 5.10.0.5928 downloaded yesterday from Realtek.
    Anyone got any ideas please?

I think the audio out must be fine as it works just fine for general listening to CDs, LPs (!!), whatever played from the hifi. No distortion even with volume level (in "volume control") set at 100%  It's only the record level that's weird :-)
I'll try the headfone thing later, just trying to record something now!
Sorry, I'm not sure if this will help, as I haven't used Realtek HD audio for some time (always used add-in cards).  But in my experience, most sound controllers have an option in mixer to select the recording source (e.g. Mic In, Line In, S/PDIF-In, Wave, CD, etc).  In particular, many offer a recording source option for "What you hear" or "Stereo Mix".  Essentially, this would combine and capture the audio from every available source, rather than from just a single source.  I'm guessing it's a long shot but maybe you could change your recording source to this "mix" type (hopefully, something similar is available).  To reduce noise you'll probably want to MUTE other sources (Wave, MIDI, CD, etc.), though you could leave them enabled as well (try to avoid things that would inject noise).
I'm only suggesting this approach because you mention that the playback from your hifi is completely fine.  Only recording from line-in is distorted.  So perhaps, you can work around the problem by recording the mixed playback.  It shouldn't make any sense for this to be happening but maybe you'll be lucky??  My (worst-case) thought is that maybe your realtek HD's ADC is damaged and therefore playback is flawless but recording is flawed...
Another thought I had is mixer settings are often stored within an ini file.  If you or someone else could identify the file(s), then you should be able to view, and in turn, modify the numeric playback and recording levels.  That should aide you in adjusting the levels more precisely, rather than guessing levels via the obscure gui sliders.
It may turn out that none of my ideas are helpful, but I wish you good luck all the same.

  • Recording the input of mouse and keyboard outside of  a visible GUI

I am trying to write something sorta like pc anywhere except I dont quite know how to approach the problem of recording the input from the mouse and keyboard. I have thought of using a glass pane the size of the screen but once I have captured the mouse or keyboard events how do I send them through to the underlying OS (as if nothing happened)?

This is not possible in java. You should register to some native mouse and keyboard listener mechanism. and let them notify you of all the mouse and keyboard events. Maybe JNI can help you accomplish this.

  • Problem to create the Account

    Hi,
I have the problem to create the Account in Administration -->  Admin Applets -->  User Admin. As per documentation I need to add UserAccounts=true in General Configuration link in the options for <Server Name> pane. But after doing the configuration under Admin Server and restarting the server, I could not get the Predefined Accounts... option available under Security link of User Admin applet page. So I could not add the new Account.
Please let me know, how I can configure the same and add the new Account.
    Thanks.

    Hi
The configuration that you need to add is UseAccounts=true and not UserAccounts=true. Change it in the config.cfg file , restart the content server and then create accounts.
    Thanks

Any body has had the same issue before?
    Regards.
Note: I have tried changing my ECT's connection property (through designer 2013) to BDC Identity, but I keep receiving the following error message:
The metadata object that has Name "xxxx" has a Property with name "AuthenticationMode" and value "RevertToSelf". This value indicates that the runtime should revert to the identity of the application pool, but reverting to the
application pool is not permitted for partitioned service applications.

Try changing the External Content’s connection
properties’ Authentication Mode to BDC identity. You will most like get an error (which I have shown below)
Below is an error you will received. Read through
    the error carefully.
Launch the SharePoint 2013 Management Shell
    and run the below commands
    $bcsServiceApp = Get-SPServiceApplication
    | where {$_ -match "Business Data Connectivity Service"}
    $bcsServiceApp.RevertToSelfAllowed
    = $true;
    $bcsServiceApp.Update();
This Solved the problem for me. you can try

I am trying to do a full Time Machine Backup to a new external disk. The backup starts, and it says "Time remaining about 4 days." That seems like a very long time, but the real problem is that the computer "logs off" after a few hours, and the backup stops. The system preferences are set to "Never" for Computer sleep and Display sleep. The computer does not ordinarily log off automatically, but it has done this twice since I started the Time Machine backup.

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Enter the word "Starting" (without the quotes) in the String Matching text field. You should now see log messages with the words "Starting * backup," where * represents any of the words "automatic," "manual," or "standard." Note the timestamp of the last such message. Clear the text field and scroll back in the log to that time. Select the messages timestamped from then until the end of the backup, or the end of the log if that's not clear. Copy them (command-C) to the Clipboard. Paste (command-V) into a reply to this message.
If all you see are messages that contain the word "Starting," you didn't clear the search box.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don't post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Some personal information, such as the names of your files, may be included — anonymize before posting.

  • Problem with the log file path on the Data Logging Control Veristand

    Hello everyone,
My problem is that I use a computer as a gateway on the network. It is connected to PXI in Real Time. I have another computer connected to the gateway to read the given PXI. I am unable to record on my local hard drive using the Data Logging Control VeriStand on the second computer. However, it can save me on the hard disk on the network. Moreover, I have no problem to record if the computer is a gateway.
    Regards,
    Kamal Bouamran

For simplicity, let's call the computer running Veristand Computer A and the gateway computer Computer B.
So, just to clarify, you're running the Veristand workspace on Computer A, which is connected to your network and the RT PXI (on which the system definition file is deployed) through a gateway, Computer B. With this setup, you can't use a data logging control to save a file to Computer A's hard drive. However, you are (from the workspace running on Computer A) able to save a file to Computer B's disk or to another drive elsewhere on your network. Is that all correct?
What happens when you try to configure the control to log to computer A's disk? Do you get an error (and if so, what error)? Does the file path default to a different location?
Also, what version of Veristand are you using? What version of Windows are you PCs running?
    Regards,

    What should I do??
    Regards
    Ika

    Hi Ika,
This seems to be a permission issue.
Go to the pcd and give read access to portal_content/com.sap.ip.collaboration/Rooms .
    That should solve the problem.
Points are welcome if this helps
