Problem to showing ilustration album ipod video itunes 7

Hello, I am an usuary registrered on itunes store,I copy the album ilustrations and paste into the songs of the ipod, but my ipod don´t show it, and when I try to pick in the option of showing album ilustrarion in the ipod options inside itunes 7 it gaves me error -50.
I´m spanish and i don´t know if you understand me, but i need help with this.

  • Problem with showing mp3 album art in list view.

    Hello.
I have litle problem with showing mp3 album artwork in list view.
In SNOW LEOPARD all work fine, and all mp3 files have album art's preview in list mode in finder.
But in LION i have only default preview mp3 icon.
Option "Show icon preview" is already on!

    I have the fix!!!!
I have had the same issue ever since Lion. Its been very painful not having album art preview in finder or the play button when rollover the file for so many versions of OSX. Today I worked hard in trying to solve the problem since Applecare support hasn't helped much, all they did was tell me to bring the computer in. The other main reason I got so motivated to try and fix this is because the DJ app for Mac only reads album art from the finder even if iTunes can display the album art. The other reason that got me curious is that my friends macbook pro album art worked fine, so I cross checked with his computer until I figured out a few things that helped and ultimately fixed the issue. FINALLY!
    My set up:
    - I have my full iTunes library folder on my external as I have over 700GB of music.
    - It includes all my database files in there, which is very important as I have many playlist settings from over 7 years of iTunes activity.
    SOLUTION:
    1. With every new computer I have purchased, I use to just pressed option on Mac and press iTunes to locate my folder (which I have said is located on my external drive).
    2. I tried today to press option again BUT locate and selected the default library in the user/music folder of my internal drive (standard setting from Apple).
    3. Miraculously, all the album art appeared in both my external drive library and also today's downloaded songs on my Macbook pro. Ofcourse with the new default location I don't have any songs or data.
    4. So I tried to find a way to keep this library data on my internal drive since it can help the finder display all my files properly, yes even have the play on rollover button but as well link it back to my external drive with all my 700GB songs.
    5. I then went into iTunes Preferences/Advance tab and in iTunes Media folder locationredirected the location to my external drive iTunes/ iTunes Media folder. If it asks to collate data, press NO.
    6. Then I quit iTunes.
    7. Next I copied the 4 files to my desktop from my external drive as I want to keep the data I have made with all my playlists etc. The four files are iTunes Library Extras.itdb ,iTunes Library Genius.itdb , iTunes Library.itl , iTunes Library.xml
    8. I then went to my internal drive User/Music/Itunes/ and dragged these 4 files I copied from my external drive into here and making sure to REPLACE the four existing files already there.
    9. Next open iTunes and you will find all your presettings appear with all your music linked to your external. What this does is keep the important library files on your internal drive (that somehow makes your finder files album art appear), BUT to read also all the music mp3 files located in the external drive (action from step 5)
Presto!! All your music files whether on internal drive or external all the album art has appeared.
Hope this helps!! Let me know if there are any other questions.
I am on 10.8.1 running retina macbook pro.

  • Sync iPod Video- iTunes

When I connect my iPod Video, iTunes, after trying to sync, says that the iPod can't be found, however the computer still detects it. What's wrong?

When itunes states that it cannot detect the ipod, is the Do Not Disconnect still on the ipod screen?
If not, how long does it take itunes to throw this error once the ipod is connected.

  • NEW IPOD VIDEO/ ITUNES ISSUES. HELP!!

OK here is my problem. I recently recieved my IPOD Video. Attempted to sync with PC... everything ok. Then tried to sync w/ ITunes... Big problem apparently I need to format all my songs to a new AAC?? Not even sure what that means. Any suggestions? I called Apple and they said I would have to do this everytime I copied a cd to my ipod. Is that correct? If so, the IPod Video will be sent back. There has to be an easier way. Please help!

I need to format all my songs to a new AAC
That's not necessarily true. The don't NEED to be in AAC. They just need to be in a format that the iPod can play.
There are several formats you can use.
    They are:
AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Music Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3 and 4), Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF
What format are your tracks in now?

  • Reactions I get when showing off my iPod Video

So far, everyone I have shown my new iPod to has been wowed. It seems even a lot of non Apple types act like they have heard of the new video iPod even before I show it to them. They all are anxious to see the picture and screen quality. Everyone I have shown if to thinks the screen image quality is incredible, which I agree it is.
The very next thing they ask is "Where is the sound?"
Although I know my iPod is mostly for my personal use, there needs to be some type of non obtrusive speaker that we can attach or keep attached to at least get some basic sound through w/o having to pull out the ear buds.
I'd like to see a super thin yet full size speaker unit that sits flush against the back of the iPod, yet that has a small base that the iPod connector locks into. With the thinness of the 30GB iPod, and even a similar thickness speaker, the whole assembly wouldn't be much thicker than my old iPod Photo.
The other thing across the board that is interesting is people's reaction to the $299 price point. Everyone seems to think that is a good price, and are frankly surprised it doesn't cost more!
Finally, they are amazed by it's capacity. My iPod Video right now has close to 1900 songs, 1800 photos, and 34 videos, 2 of which are full length films. Out of the 27.8GB total capacity, I am only using about 10GB, so I can more than double my current content, which at the level of stuff I have on it now, amazes people!
    But.........
Yesterday I couldn't resist and took off the plastic film that was over the face of theiPod when I opened it. I quickly, in the same day, decided I didn't want to risk the screen getting badly scratched, so I put it in it's iPod sock, and took it to Staples, and got some PDA screen protectors and covered it right there in the store. Even with it being uncovered only for a couple hours, and barely touched, I ended up getting small scratches on the screen. My iPod Photo that I still need to sell after long usage still doesn't have a scratch on it. This new plastic scratches ridiculously easy!
But here's what kills me: these thin sheets of plastic film can take me using my fingernail to get the air bubbles out from underneath and still not scratch, but the surface of my iPod can't?? And what happened to this supeer strong polycarbonate that was developed for the iBook? Wouldn't that be tougher than this? Go even further back and try to remember the frosted clear plastic of the toilet seat iBook. That stuff never scratched.
I love my new iPod, but it is wrapped in screen protectors till I can get a case and a hard plastic screen protector for it.

I just bought my first video, U2's "City of Blinding Lights", from the iTunes store, & I can't believe how clear it really looks on the screen & of course it sounds great. I haven't showed it yet to anyone but my husband & he says it looks good.
I haven't taken the covering off of the front of my iPod since everyone says that it scratches so bad. I don't have anything on the back of it, so I'm trying to be careful not to get scratches on it. I haven't find a good case that fits it yet, but I've been looking.
I would like to put my concert clips from my computer on my iPod, but I really don't want to shell out $30 for Quicktime Pro. Anything else out there that's maybe free or at least cheaper?

  • IPod Nano + iPod Video + iTunes ?

I currently have a 4GB Nano, and want to get the 30GB Video iPod. Is iTunes going to care which one I connect ? I mean, will switching back and forth between the two models cause any problems within iTunes? Thanks!!

  • Cant get up the screen to show contents of ipod in itunes

computer recognises ipod in itunes and it downloads music fine, but it will not show me whats on my ipod, just shows me a page with ipod picture and support site?! this is once ive clicked on my ipod on the left hand side.

If you have things like music on the ipod, and it plays normally disconnected from the PC, when you do connect it to the PC you should see 2 arrows, one being the eject on one side on the other side of the ipods name should be an arrow > you hit it and it goes down and show the content of the ipod below its name

  • Some music does not show up on ipod in itunes, but it is there...used twoPC

Hi, my main computer is a laptop. This is the one that is updated continually and has the latest software (XP/itunes)...I have another computer, it is the big one, with all the music on it for the most part, the laptop has the new stuff...anyway, getting ready for a trip and I had the bright idea (I say that sarcastically) to connect it to the outdated machine (it works fine) and use itunes to add in other music that my laptop does not have (due to a small hard drive 60 gigs only, vs 700 gigs on the big guy)...anyway, once I turn on the ipod, the music is not there in itunes, if I connect the ipod to the laptop the music is not there too, if I do a windows search on the ipod for the creation date, or the name of the group (in this case tainted love by soft cell) it is there, it is just not in the itunes listing/database/library. I suspect being that the two different versions of itunes are different, they do not work together. I should have thought of that before, but it is too late now....So what can I do, can I copy off all the music manually onto a portable drive, delete all the songs on the ipod manually, then reimport them to have the missing songs show up? Will this also copy off the album art? Or am I totally barking up the wrong tree?
I want to of course make this as easy as possible for myself, without issues to the ipod....I tried playing the song found via windows and it did play it on the laptop, but it did not come up on the ipod it came up in the regular library, and when I tried to copy it to the ipod it said there was a corrupt library or something along those lines...the pod works fine...
I have a 60 gig color video pod....this is my second one, and I have a 40 gig 3rd generation as well (not having problems)
    Thank you for any help...

try just pushing play instead of clicking the artist name and then choosing the song thats not there. With mine i would push play under coldplay and it would play 1 of 10 but if i clicked coldplay and tryed choosing the song i wanted to play there would only be 6 songs there. I think the problem is because not all my songs have an album name. so those songs that are blank under album don't show up. I really don't know what the real problem is here but i think thats how to fix it.

  • Videos don't show up on iPod video playlist

Maybe I'm not understanding something, but I subscribe to a coupld of video podcasts. They update fine off iTunes and they synch over to my iPod. The problem is, they don't show up in any of the video playlists. They show up under the 'recently added' list of both music and video files.
How can I get these things to list in the Video Podcast playlist?? Thanks for your help and thoughts!

    Julia,
Do you have a Fifth Generation iPod, or not?
Only Fifth Generation iPods are compatible with any videos, which include video podcasts that you try to download onto it.
So, if you have a Nano, for example, it isn't won't be capable of playing any video files, sorry.

  • Artwork Not Showing Up on iPod but iTunes

I have the newest version of iTunes, and all of the artwork to albums I have added after the upgrade shows up in iTunes, but not physically on my iPod, what can I do?

click on your iPod in source, click the music tab and put a check in "display album artwork on iPod". If it's already selected, deselect it and hit apply. Then recheck it hit apply again. Then sync your iPod again.

  • Sould problem on my 5g 30gig ipod video

    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help. I have noticed that on my ipod, the sound level will play fine on one album, but if i skip to another, then the sound can become very loud. Also, some albums seem to have a lot of bass on them. is this a problem anyone else has had? if so can you help? if not, i think it needs to go back to apple

How do these songs sound if played in iTunes? Albums can be recorded at different volume levels, and they will play back at those volume levels by default.
Have you tried using the "Sound Check" option in the Settings on your iPod? This is supposed to "even out" the volume levels so that they all play consistently.

  • IPod Video/iTunes including unchecked songs

I'm on my second iPod (my other one locks iTunes up whenever I connect it and I've never received an answer as to why or what to do) and I have noticed that songs are are (and were) unchecked in iTunes (such as Holiday songs that I don't want to hear right now but don't want deleted from iTunes) are showing up in my shuffle on the new iPod. I even doubled checked iTunes and they are still unchecked, so they should not be playing, right? My old iPod understood this. Is my new one just dumb or is it me?
    Thanks!

Each iPod has it's own settings. Plug in the iPod. Go to it's settings in iTunes, and make sure you check the box that says "only synch checked songs" or whatever it says. Hope that helps.

    iTunes is the only way.
