Problem transaction "sxi_cache"

Hi,
I have created a new client 100, so when I use transaction "sxi_cache" und go to the menu bar "xi runtime cache" > start delta cache refresh and "xi runtime cache">start complete cahce refresh, so these both entries are disabled for the client 100. so how can I enabled these entries in the menu bar?
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Stefan

Hi..
can you try to set this a default client in profile ( RZ10).Do change the entries in exchange profile for the new client , if that is going to be your IS--...this might help and i am not sure...just a  trail and error suggestion.:):)
Thanks

  • Cache Refresh Problem in SXI_CACHE Transaction in new client 700

    Hi Experts,
We have installed and configured the new PI7.1 server and were checking its readiness by going through the Readiness Check Document. At one stage  while we run the transaction SXI_CACHE in client 700 we are not getting the option of " Start Complete Cache Refresh" in highlighted mode. Thus we are not able to refresh the cache in client 700. But if I login in Client 001 and login using SAP* and run the SXI_CACHE I am able to see all the pipeline steps as well the option for complete Cache refresh and Adapter cache referesh is in Highlighted mode. The status is also green. Can somebody us in knowing where should we look into to solve this problem so that these option are available in the new client for refershing the CACHE.

  • Problems in SXI_CACHE Refresh

    Dear Experts,
I am facing Cache refresh problems in PI 7.0 :
    1)  SXI_CACHE : Last Error During Cache refresh is showing LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM - NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM error. And also Start Delta Cache Refresh / Start Complete Cache refresh  are in deactive mode (Frozen).
    2) SLDCHECK : Log says " No Business System for ABC Client 100 ". where ABC=SID.
My question is : Is this issue related to BASIS Team or PI Developer Team? Also please let me know if you have any solutions for the above mentioned issue. Thanks in Advance.
    SLDCHECK Log:
    SLD server access settings:
      host name:   ABCXIDEV
      port number: 50000

    Calling function LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM
Retrieving data from the SLD server...
No corresponding business system found for system ABC client 100
=> Check and maintain the SLD content for the current client

    Hi Phanikumar,
This problem is related to the Basis. PI Developer is not responsible for that.
First of all make sure that you have generated the Business system Properly.
Just go to RZ70. Enter the required information and generate the Business system.and check if you can see the Technical System corresponding to Your Application system in SLD.
Just varify in SLDCHECK if you can see all the BS available in SLD.
When Applcation system try to get its own business system it uses the report which fetches the data from table "lcrt_clntcache" which get automaticay filled when you create the corresponding BS.
Just Check if you can see the entry in this table.
If not then Run the report LCR_CLEAR_CACHE which will refersh the cache and again RUN SLDCHECK now table ""lcrt_clntcache" should get filled.
if you still face the problem then you have to upgrade your Application server patch. Just Check SPS of your Application server. Just check SAP Note 1034276.
    Thanks,

  • Problem with SXI_CACHE

    Hi All,
I'm unable to do a cache refresh from trax SXI_CACHE. The two options 'Start Complte Cache Refresh' and 'Start Delta Cache Refresh' are disabled in SXI_CACHE. Also couldn't to the cache from Integration Directory.
    Any inputs are greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Nazim

    Hi Nazim,
    This might help you
Call transaction SM58 to check the status of the refresh process.
If no entry for function module SAI_CACHE3_REFRESH_BACKROUND is Present any more the cache update is finished.
In RWB component monitoring, we now have the option of checking whether the cache-connectivity is functioning correctly. This is useful when we are experiencing problems when updating the runtime cache. The system displays a separate window in which we perform the test. If no previous tests have been performed, the system displays a corresponding message. Otherwise, the system shows when and by whom the last test run was started, together with the result of this test.
To start a new test run, choose Start Test.
The system displays the first results of the test run. Since the whole test takes some time, we can update the displayed results if necessary.
To Update the displayed results, choose Refresh Display.
The overall result for each component is displayed as a green, yellow, red, or gray symbol. A green symbol is only displayed if both update steps for the runtime cache were successful, that is, they both have a green symbol.

  • Problem in SXI_CACHE ReturnCode 99

    Hi Everyone,
We're encountering a problem in our Test box. The return code for one of our integration processes is still 99 even after activating it in SXI_CACHE. In our acceptance box and Dev box, the return code is 0. Everything is working fine for both the systems. The error is in the test box only (dev -> test -> acceptance). We have tried reactivating the whole SCV and transporting but it did not work. We have also tried reactivating the Integration process in ID, and transporting it but still no luck. We have also tried the various suggestions in the forum but we're still having an error.
The error message in SXI_CACHE is :
E    For http://xxx yyy there is already definition ZXI_PROXY_xxx
E    For http://xxx yyy there is already definition ZXI_PROXY_yyy
S    --- Translating step type 'RECEIVE' with ID '3' ---
    E    No container definition available
S    --- Translating step type 'SEND' with ID '9' ---
S    --- Translating step type 'SEND' with ID '18' ---
    Any suggestion is welcome.
    Thanks.

    1. make some dummy change to the IP in IB
    2. if not works then re-import the IP in IB (delete and re-import)

  • CATS IDoc inbound problem - Transaction lock, LR002

Customer is posting CATS records via interface from externa system to IDoc for CATS processing. Either the create BAPI (BAPI_...) is used or if there is a change to an already existing posting (BAPI_...). For his i have slightly modified the SAP standard existing FM for CATS inbound processing (IDOC_) to handle both scenarios, create and change. I basically examine CATS data from external system and if it is already existing then I call the change BAPI and if not found the I call the create BAPI.
We have no problem posting with these BAPIs when there postings are imported one by one. But, when several CATS postings arrive at the same second then not all postings are handled correctly. We receive error message "Transaction locked by user XXX" (error message e002(lr)) and XXX is the background communication user. No luck using "Where used" for error 002 in message class LR either. Also tried tracing with trans SE30 but no luck there either.  Data is always different but can be for the same personell number. User is correct and not locked - it is the transaction (like CAT2) thats SAP standard reports as locked. Some postings go through alright but then after a few corrrect posting this problem pops up. Very frustating.
Code is correct as it seems only to be a "overflow" problem. Config and data is also correct. Customer was also facing the very same error using the same BAPIs called via RFC and not via IDoc.
Reason to change to IDoc was of course to set the posting as synchronous thus avoiding this "overflow" problem. In standard SAP is IDocs processed in parallell which is fine in many circumstances but not here. Or it might be OK as long as this error don't occur but have found no way so far. Customer is in production and this must be solved. We also tried this in a band new upgraded ECC 6.0 EhP5 system as customer is in the process of upgrading. Same error.
    I have found very few hints when searching through Google, SAPNet, SDN etc. This is one of the very few links I found: [Locking problem with FM EDI_DATA_INCOMING;
So I checked this in trans WE46 but as customer is running ECC 6.0 EhP3 we have no such option. Then tried trans nOYEAn setting the parameter "Synchronous processing" but I do not understand how this is supposed to work. Problem stills remains. The values are stored in table EDICONFIG and here parameter INBSYNC is used for the synchrounous setting as of my understanding but we only have this for a user called EDIADMIN and that is certainly not our background user. I don't understand how to set this parameter correctly I guess. SAP help doen't give more insight either - at least not for me.
Does anyone have a suggestion how to solve this problem? Anyone solved this before and willing to share a solution?
<< Moderator message - Please do not promise points >>
I maybe beed to send this to SAP OSS but trying this option first.
To me this is puzzling. Find very few references which normally means few have encountered this. Strange. CATS BAPI interfacing must be used by a lot of companies.

    Hi Johan,
These kind of problems arise when there is a very little time gap between two successive postings. So put a 'WAIT UP TO 2 SECONDS' between each of the postings. This will give time for the previous posting to perform the updates even before the next posting hits the same transaction. This will solve your problem.

  • Serious lock problem - transaction has active cursors

    Hi,
i use BDB C via the Java-API (4.6.21, developing with WindowsXP). Currently i am having serious problems with LOCK_NOT_GRANTED_EXCEPTIONS.
My application is a queue implementation. One push objects into the database, another one reads them and a third one deletes entries with an outdated TTL (time-to-live). All of these processes are done by multiple dedicated threads what leads to highly concurrent situations.
The TTL cleaning uses a tx-cursor which deletes entries that are too old. The inserter simply uses put(). The reader uses a cursor too, which starts with a pointer (via getSearchKey) or at the beginning of the database (if no start could be found, the pointer is then outdated as it was deleted by TTL cleaning run).
The isolation level is at READ_COMMITTED. Sometimes i use RMW locks for reading and updating status information.
So i implemented a lock detection which retries at least the inserts if a lock fails. The reads can fail and report their exceptions to the outside world. This seems to work fine. Sometimes i get some LOCK_NOT_GRANTED_EXCEPTIONS and the recovery should work. But it works only sometimes.
BDB-C complains with "transaction has active cursors" (see txn.c - line 1186). All subsequent calls to rollback or commit or any other method of BDB-C handles fails then with a RunRecoveryException. I am absolutely sure, i have no open cursors, as i close them implicitly before tx.commit() or tx.abort(). I wrote a reference counter to ensure that and it shows always a count of 0 open cursors as expected.
The whole process is of course quite heavy stress for the DB - i am actually read, write, delete and checkpoint the db at the same position at the same time.
I am tending to introduce MVCC to avoid those locking issues. As i understood concurrent updates of the same db page with multiversion transactions may also cause DeadLockExceptions. Can i use RMW locks to avoid concurrent updates on the same pages with MVCC?
    Some hints?
    TIA
    Dirk

    Hi,
I have created a patch for Berkeley DB 4.6.21, which outputs information about all cursor open and close operations. This should help you see which cursor is not being closed.
If you apply the patch below to your Berkeley DB tree, and rebuild.
Then add setVerbose(VerboseConfig.CURSOR, true), to your EnvironmentConfig initialization.
It will send log messages to the output stream configured via EnvironmentConfig.setMessageStream(). The default is System.out.
There will likely be a lot of output.
Please let me know if this helps you resolve the problem. Otherwise, ask more questions ;)
    Regards,
    Alex Gorrod

  • Problem in SXI_CACHE

    Hi all,
In SXI_CACHE, I am seeing two of my object without Repository Name and Repository Namepsace. I don't suppose this is correct. How do I rectify this.

You cant delete an object i suppose because the transaction is used to "analyze a cache" not edit its contents

    Thanks.  Maria.

This is the error: program "GP3U00IL5OJAWE41MAMXUFGYEXR" does not exist in the library.
I debugged this and the above program is being submitted in FM RKD_REPORT_START_ONLINE.  However, the program does not exist.  Hence, the dump occured.
Do you happen to know how to verify if it is the correct program to be called? and how to add/generate the program if it;s the correct one?
    Thank you

  • Problem SXI_CACHE

    Dear all,
I have problem about the cache in PI 7.1
In fact, I have two mandants. 001 et 100. I need to develop on mandant 100.
In SLD, all BS and TS are configured for mandant 100. But, in the directory (after refresh SLD data cache), I have a error (Not Business system found for mandant 001). I checked the SLD and all is ok (for mandant 100 only!! )
After searching, I found a cache problem in SXI_CACHE (mandant 001) => Not BS found.
All is green in mandant 100 (cache content is up-to-date).
When I change in the SLD the mandant for PI Integration server (100 => 001), I don't have error anymore. All is ok.
I don't know why the directory checks the mandant 001 whereas the SLD is configured for the mandant  100.
And I changed the mandant in the exchange profile.
    I need help please.
    Thanks.

    Hello sebast_60
The note #940309 Change PI default client after NW 7.0 Installation, outlines the configuration steps required to change the default client of a PI system. Double check all these steps have been successfully completed.

  • Problem with ANE in Captive Runtime

    Hi,
this is my first post to the community so I am not really sure if this is the right forum ... i hope so.
I built an ANE for Android based on the zbar library to scan bar- and qr-codes ... it works pretty fine in debug mode and also works great when I release the app using it with the "Shared Runtime" option.
But I need the captive runtime as our customer wants the app to be as easy as possible for the users and so an additional download of the AIR-Runtime (if its not installed) is not the way we want it to be.
I really hope someone can help me out and point me to the right direction what could be wrong with the ANE.
Basically it is just one function called from ActionScript to the native code and this one starts an activity with a camera view and the zbar listener. When it recognizes the bar/qr code the activity dispatches the status event to ActionScript and exits.
When i build the app with captive runtime nothing happens when i hit the button which should start the native code ... as i dont have flash builder debug information available within the release build i really dont know what the problem is. Also general android LogCat doesnt report any error.
As i stated before, with the shared runtime and in debug-mode everything works as expected and the content of the bar/qr code is returned correctly.
That's why I think the error must be somewhere in the as3 code - but i have no clue where ... i read something about external linkage of the ANE but dont really understand what was meant and if this could be the problem.
Please help, thanks in advance ... and if this is the wrong forum for that topic please point me to the right one.

    Hi Carlos,
    1) Cross check the below :
a)Ensure that the required JDK is being used in the client system
b)Try clearing the Web Start cache and try downloading again.
    c)Start>Programs>Java Web Start>File>Preferences>Advanced>Clear Folder
    2) XI TST  Check  whethere you have enough TABLE  space.
    3)Refresh the Cache :
    a)Start transaction SXI_CACHE.
b)From the context menu XI Runtime Cache select Start Complete Cache Refresh.
    And also try this :
Many actions require to access System Landscape Directory content from the Integration Builder. To optimize performance, this content is loaded into a cache so that the System Landscape Directory does not have to be accessed directly each time that System Landscape Directory content is required.
However, this cache is not automatically updated if changes are made to the content of the System Landscape Directory. For this reason that we delete the System Landscape Directory cache if changes have been made to content in the System Landscape Directory. The cache is then filled each time that the System Landscape Directory is accessed. If we log on to the Integration Builder after we have made a change in the SLD, we do not need to delete the SLD cache.
To clear the SLD cache, from the Integration Builder main menu, choose Environment ® Delete Cache for SLD Data.
Once we have deleted the cache for SLD data, accessing objects in the SLD may take longer than usual initially.
