Problem trying to run photoshop roundtrip with aperture/automator

i have been trying to install photoshop round-trip to use with aperture but it is not working.
first, i created a folder called automator in the main library and drag the "start photoshop roundtrip.action" file.
second, i copied the photoshop action pack to my photoshop cs2, inside my application folder
third, i restarted the computer (aperture loves quit and restart).
now, i am trying to run photoshop round-trip from my aperture menu from automator, but i dont see the option for photoshop round-trip.
what i am doing wrong?

In reference to Lynley Stanley, I too am having the exact problem. I downloaded as for my class of Animation and Visual Effects at the Academy of Art University while waiting for my software to come in the mail from Academic Superstore. I am so frustrated about this that such an issue has caused so much madness. In the process of trying to remove Adobe Photoshop CS3 from my Windows Vista I was searching for info on how to uninstall as I was in a hurry to uninstall the program because my 4th week into class started using the program as students are expected to follow along having their own for assignments. Well, now I'm behind and I don't want to fail because of something that is causing the problem as I'd like to call intentional. In the process of trying to figure a way to uninstall fast as not to fall behind and fail in class I downloaded Perfect Uninstaller but I don't know how it will work. Now in reference of trying to quickly uninstall just to keep up with class, that will not be possible, so now I had to take time to look online knowing I'm falling more and more behind because of this difficult matter I finally found this and hopefully I'll be going somewhere as to have the problem corrected. I have problem while upgrading SQL developer 4.0.0.12 to 4.0.0.13 on my windows 64 bit machine. 4.0.0.12 version is working good, where as 4.0.0.13 is showing below error while starting it.
I did try sqldveloper.exe and its not working, So I started running sqldeveloper.bat to get more information, also added AddJavaLibFile & SetMainClass to sqldevloper.conf but no luck. Could you please help in this regard.

I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC (together with the Apps) doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

Sorry I didn't know exactly what info was needed to help with my problem so I just included everything it gave me. I have tried disabling my symantec antivirus, windows firewall and defender, but have had no success. Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

sounds like it is not getting the proxyie information correctly.
open the java console network settings tab and check what proxies are being used.

The situation becomes even more irritating when I realise that almost all actions that I try to perform (like when I try to add a new Project) are not executed (while I keep on getting the SAME error in my console as above with only the number of the final line that indicates where the first call occured changed).
Does anybody have any idea of what kind of dependency I may have forgotten and where ? The error seems to be related with some kind of xml (parser maybe ?) incompatibility ... Any clues ?

JDeveloper is only supported with JDK 1.3.1_02 as we are aware of some issues with 1.3.1_04. Can you try with JDK 1.3.1_02 and see whether the problem still reproduces.

No matter what the action that is to be performed is, the JDeveloper application insists on reporting the above mentioned problem and almost always refuses to perform the desired activity!
Based on your more advanced knowledge of the underlying architecture of JDeveloper, do you happen to have a more clear idea about it and especially the "oracle.ide.marshal.xml.Object2Dom.getNamespaceURI(Object2Dom.java:1158)" case ?
Is there anything that I have forgotten to properly configure during the installation of jdeveloper ?
Any other clues that could further assist me ? I am afraid I am still desperate for any king of useful derictives ?

How can I run Photoshop Elements4 with Windows7. The operating system will not open and run it.

My New computer has windows 7 installed, and it will not open and run my photoshop elements 4 programme. Do I need an upgrade, or can it be run in any other format on this computer.

Did it install and you're just getting errors trying to run it? If so, try clicking on your Start button. Then, go to All Programs, find the entry for Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and "right click" on it. Select Properties, and in the Properties dialogue click the Compatibility Tab and try running it in XP Compatibility mode and see if it works that way.
If not, then it is really not compatible. Just buy the latest (Photoshop Elelments 9) while they offer $40 mail-in rebate (Ends January 5, 2011)

Problem editing images in Photoshop CS6 with LR 4.1

I have Photoshop CS6 with the latest version of Camera Raw, 7.1.
However, when I attempt to open a file in Photoshop using the Edit > Open in Photoshop CS6 command, I get the following error message:
This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 7.1 for full compatibility.
Why is this happening when I've already upgraded to Camera Raw 7.1?

I don't see a Camera Raw folder. I see a folder for Photoshop CS6, Extension Manager CS6 and Bridge CS6.
I updated by going to the Help menu in Photoshop and selecting "Updates..."
According to "System Info" in the Help menu, Camera Raw 7.1 is installed. It says:

Problem trying to run sql loader

i'm trying to run sql loader but i'm getting an error message. it was working a few days ago but not now. i am on oracle version 8.0.6.2.0
from a unix prompt line i type....
sqlldr system/manager id3com.ctl
the error message i get is......
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
SQL*Loader-704: internal error: ulconnect: OCISessionBegin [-1]
does anyone know what this is for? i've always used system/manager in the past but just recently i've been getting error messages.

I'd say someone changed the password. Try running sql*plus as system.

Beeping sounds when running photoshop CC with open files...

Hi,
I started gettting randing but re-curring beeping sounds from Photoshop CC whenever I open a file (any file). While files are open I keep getting this annoying beeping sound repeatedly. I have tested my computer to see if it's some other issue but it's directly associated with Photoshop and I can't figure out what it is. I thought at first it's going to be my hard-drive or something as I've had similar situations like this before where I had to replace the drive. The only problem here is it doesn't happen with any other app except photoshop.
Memory / resource ussage at launch starts at almost 800k. When 1-2 files are open, memory / resource usage jumps to over 1,100,000K within minutes. If I add total adobe resources being used, it is higher than the 1,500,000K mark. This includes their multiple instances of CF helper, Creative cloud.
I also never saw the "Photoshop-node.exe *32" process running before until last night, taking up 40K, (Evented I/O for v8 Javascript)

Have tested further. These r the things I noticed.
1. Photoshop fails to initiate error message shows just for a few seconds
then starts normally. This usually happens when I try to open a file
without having photoshop open.
2. Trying sone random actions leads to further photoshop errors, crashing
or failing to perform task requested or locking up.
3. On one file in particular, while trying to save it failed then managed
to save it and got error message with photoshop relaunch request. The
problem starts here. I relaunch photoshop to avoid file open issues. Open
the file it crashed in and get the annoying beeps almost like the file or
elements on the file are corrupt. Qhile file is open, I get the beeps. I
rebuild the file using a new file. I finallu get to the grouped vector
paths and upon attempting to drag, I get the beeps. I copy the paths over
and now the new file starts beeping as well. I close the old file and
beeping happens less often. I continue on the new file and randomly get the
beeps (sometimes 2 sometimes more beeps)... I delete tje grouped vector
paths and since have not had the problem. It seems to have been path
related. I read in other posts how path properties are an issue atm and
have not been fixed, this may just be a continuance of that problem.

Aperture will not allow me to buy a book. It says a connection could not be established at this time.
I have a 2011 17in MBP, running Mountain Lion, Apertaure 3.3.2 purcahsed from the App Store, a 100Mb network connection, based in Staffordshire UK. It acts the same over wifi or ethernet, e.g a connection could not be established at this time. It makes no difference if I am signed into the App store or not.
I have spent 5 days preparing my Wedding album images for a 30 page book with lots of adjustments, therefore, I am desperate to fix this and as I paid £55 for the software I want it to work.

I still don't know what happened to my test Aperture Library after the update to 3.4...Not only were my previews lost, but so were the original images! Needless to say, I haven't bothered to update the main library on the Mac Pro because I don't want to deal with this level of uncertainty (even with backups in place).

So I went on the internet and found a lot of pages telling me it is easy to download and install but still no. Adobes own site only gives me version 7.1 (Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows).
The internet gives me this link with a lot of info about 8.5 but no ******* download link http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/camera-raw.html
I suspect Adobe don't let you upgrade beyond 7.1 if you don't run CC but there is no one on Adobe that can confirm it? I also got in touch with Adobe helpdesk but after 45 min on the phone they still wouldn't adress my question, only keep on asking for phone nr, email and other things to raise a case. Also ran the Adobe Application Manager but it just returns with Update Failed.
It's a simple question.
Has anyone running a Photoshop CS6 on a W7 machine managed to update Camera Raw beyond 7.1?

after trying myself for 3 days I finally got in touch with one person at adobes helpdesk that could actually think and did not just respond according to a sheet in front of him. He started out from the sheet telling me that it SHOULD work but when he took over my computer he soon realized something wasn't right. It took him about 45 min of trying, installing, uninstalling and finally he found it.
I don't know if it's something with the licensed version I have ( a corporate one) but in the installation there is one file here C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0.
That AAM Updater Inventory prevents CS6 to update. I don't know why it's there but he simply removed it and voila !!
A 5 second job once you know it =)

Major problems trying to run computer

I am having a huge problem right now. When I try to boot my Mac the screen is a fuzzy mess and will just freeze up after a few seconds. If I try to reboot a few times, eventually the computer clears itself up and looks like it is booting normally, but when the desktop should show up, it does not, or does for a second and freezes up. I cannot get into any files to save anything. I tried booting to the install disk and running disk first aid. That worked fine, but the computer still will not load without becoming a snowy/fuzsy mess and locking up. Any ideas?

Are you able to run the Apple Hardware Test from the CD or DVD? I had the same problem, was not able to run Apple Hardware Test, and AppleCare even took me through OpenFirmware, but with no luck. It ended up being a bad logic board, which luckily for me, was covered under warranty. Hopefully yours is something simple (cheap), or even better, I hope you're still under warranty.

Problem trying to Download Photoshop Trial

When i clic the button to download Photoshop Trial i receive a message saying that it must be downloaded in a computer. I am doing it on my computer (Dell Inspiron one2310 windows 7 Home Premium). I've seen in Internet someone that said the same from an aslo touchscreen computer, this case an HP.

i am having the same problem - i just spent 2 hours trying to get tech help - they say they can't find a problem - i get 3 error messages after the program is 100% downloaded and then says it cannot finish the download. - the tech helpers can't help - they just send me back to the website. i get this message -
