Problem updating script src="file:..." via my templates,..PLEASE HELP

The issue i'm having is that somehow dreamweaver modified my
link to the
script src file to a local hard-drive path..."<script
src="file:///D|/workplace/websitesmain/staging/songwritingworks/Scripts/AC_RunActiveConte nt.js"
type="text/javascript"></script>
when i use my templates to change it to <script
src="../../../Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js"
type="text/javascript"></script> ,...it actually
updates the pages to still
link to my local hard-drive. Why would this be?
darren

You really don't want to go here. Trying to use templates
like this is
wrong. It's just wrong.
