Problem uploading .apk to Afaria

Hi,
I have a problem with uploading newer version of the .apk file to the distribution policy.
After uploading a file on the server, name and version information are displayed correctly, but selecting ok does not result in saving policy.
Server log after operation:
Msg1:
PKG1009: Error updating \"ecodagent.apk\" in database. Exception: Permission denied: the setting of option allow_read_client_file does not permit you to initiate transfer of data from the client machine by using "read_client_file()"
Msg2:
PKG1009: Error updating \"ecodagent.apk\" in database. Exception: File does not exist: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\AfariaApiService\Bin\UploadData\fb7e3c0b-230d-43b0-8e41-78e0746e2dcf.dat'
I have Administrator privileges
Version 7.00.6233.4
Any other apk file works correctly.

Are you using a SQL Anywhere back end with Afaria? If so, can you try the following steps to enable client-side loading please?
1) Use Sybase Central to change the value of the option allow_read_client_file:
• Connect to the database.
• Work with server <server name>
• Right-click and select Options.
• Select allow_read_client_file and change the value to On. Note: Its default value is Off.
• Set Permanent Now.
2) Use isql to run these two commands:
set option allow_read_client_file=on
grant readclientfile to <group | user>
3) Restart the database server.

You said, "the 4 also has signal and wifi whereas the 5 has only wifi". By "signal", I'm assuing that you mean cellular signal. If so, that means your iPhone 4 is still active on your cellular number and your iPhone 5 is not. Contact your carrier to sort out which phone is active on your account.

Problems uploading photos to facebook on Ally

I have been having problems uploading photos from the gallery to facebook. I can upload them fine on twitter but not facebook any ideas... I have tried to reboot, turning off phone and removing battery, still won't upload to facebook.

Try to delete the Facebook application on your device then re-download the application. Once you've downloaded the application, then try to upload your pictures again.

Problems uploading images with uppercase (.JPG) file extension.

I am using coldfusion 8 and have no problems uploading an image using CFFile when the image has a lowercase file extensions such as .jpg however if the same file has a Uppercase file extension .JPG coldfusion hangs and then just times out. The files are exactly the same just different cases in the extensions.
Any idea?

I tried changing the accept property to image/*, image/jpg, image/JPG but that did not fix the problem either

Thanks for the quick reply. So I removed the tag and even though I get an error after submitting the form it appears to not hang anyways. Any idea how to fix this?
I am on a windows 2003 server so cases sensitifity should not be a problem. I am perplexed as to why this would work with lowercase extensions an not upper?

ITunes Producer: Problem uploading - ERROR ITMS-5122

I am having a problem uploading an album via iTunes Producer (Version 2.2.1 (137)). At the Delivery stage, I receive the message ERROR ITMS-5122: "Genre should be specified using genre label code instead of label: electronic" at Album/Tracks/Track. I have tried tweaking my upload at both the album and track levels to one or two genres and am seeing a similar error. Does anyone know how I can correct this issue? Thank you for any assistance!

It means that there is no alternate text for the image, in the event that it doesn't load. This will put text where the image should be, so that the reader knows that there was an image that was supposed to display there.
What it means for your ebook is that your images should be coded as such:
<img src=".../Images/ABC_bookcover.jpg" alt="Cover for ABC Book" />
Where the alt text is a description.
If you want to get around this quickly, you can simply open up all your .xhtml files in text wrangler and do a search for <img src= and replace it with <img alt="" src=
Even if you have nothing in the alt description, having it there will get past the check.

Problems uploading revised book

I created my book in iBooks Author and uploaded it (and it just went live this morning). However, since I uploaded it, I realized I should really have checked the "Disable Portrait Orientation" box. I wanted to upload the revised version, but I am running into problems. Obviously I don't want to use the publish button in iBooks Author, since I already have a version of the book in iTunes Producer. So I exported the revised book to an iBooks file, then tried to upload that in iTunes Producer, but I am getting one error. I don't have the error on this computer, but basically it said said that my audio file could only be uploaded as part of a widget. I did insert my audio file into the book with a widget, and had no problems uploading the original file. It is only when I try to submit this revised version that I get the error message. Am I going about saving and/or uploading the revised book in the wrong way? Any other ideas in regard to what the problem could be? Thank you.

Problem uploading

We just recently switched over our host provider from doteasy
to Hostmonster, and I am now running into a problem uploading my
files. I had a page that needed information swtiched, so I updated
it in Dreamweaver, and then hit the upload button. On Dreamweaver's
side, there was no problem uploading, the date changed on the
remote side, etc. However, when I go to my site on the internet,
the page is not updated. I was able to download my entire site in
dreamweaver (showing on hostmonster that the site had been
removed), and then upload the entire site back into the hostmonster
server. however, the page didn't change. I am very confused and
very stuck. I am not proficient in this, so any help given in
simple terms would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

No success with that. I've also tried deleting the file from
the hostmonster control panel, and then uploading it again through
Dreamweaver. I don't know if this is relevant information, but I'm
using Dreamweaver MX 2004

Problems uploading via FTP-host

I have very often (most of the time actually) problems uploading a website via the FTP-host. Changes I made are often not uploaded etc. Is this a common problem or am I the only one?

Please provide more details as what exactly is not updating while ftp upload process , is it any text , image etc ? does this happens with a specific page or any page ? The changes should get update once you upload the files to same location , unless there is any sync issue with server.

French is quite a bit further down my language list (limited to small bits), the main source of understanding/recognizing being the corresponding loan words in English.
At least some years ago I could read and understand all the half/full page German sentences effortlessly, but even then I was banned from helping our kids with any German homework.

Problem uploading video to facebook

Hello I am having a problem uploading a video to facebook. It iwll only load 20% and then it fails. However it takes a long time to fail and my phone is really hot during that time. Is there a limit to how long the video can be? This one is about 3 mins. I am not sure why it will not upload. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?

Problems uploading new prompt in AutoAttendant UC520

I have a problem uploading a new recording promt
THe elements are
UC520
CCA 1.9
300M available in flash
Windows 7
The wav file is about 20 sec and 170K
The link is excelent (remote configruation with a great BW)
I am configuring the AA from the CCA remotely, it permits recording and saving the file . wav, but when I click "Appy", it shows a message error telling me that there is a FTP server error, (image attached), bur there is no other TFP server up in the laptop
I have tried:
Rebboting the laptop in Windows 7, and having just the CCA open
Reloading the router
Reloading the software
In a laptop with Windows Vista
Upgrading CCA version to 2.1
Changing the selection in AA from the day and night schedule (complex) to the one schedule (simple)
I have checked "windows services started" in botht laptops
Upload the wav file to the router, but I couldn't find the other wav files for the AA, this is my dir

I'm going to agree with the previous poster. The web gui has always worked for me. Anyhow you should upgrade to the latest CCA version since this is a bug related to CCA bug which I reported in october which makes it impossible to upload prompts using CCA (

Also there might be a problem when using Windows 7/Vista. I've encountered a couple of interesting malfunctions when using these OS's with CCA. So I'm stuck with XP on my CCA/UC computer.

Problems Uploading a Pages file in html format including pictures to web pa

I have problems uploading a Pages file in html format to a web page.
The files itself is downloaded but the images are not. How can I upload a page file in html including the pictures or illustrations?

I just bought a macbook as well as the iwork software. I am having a few problems. I am a student and when I try to print out documents (originally word documents) it puts them automatically into textedit instead of pages. Also, the pages get all screwed up, things are missing, etc. How do I make pages my default and do i need to export? import? or do something so that these documents show up perfectly in pages?
A second questions- When i try to print out slideshows in keynote (originally from powerpoint) the handouts print on the little edge of the paper horizontally rather than the long way. I am hoping these are easy adjustments.
I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Hello.
Today I got the opportunity to work with a Muse user with the same issue after performing the troubleshooting steps in the post above we decided to contact the host.
Later i came to know that host took Muse user's IP and they were able to unblock it and muse started connecting to FTP host.
I another scenario Host suggested Muse user to add :21 to the FTP address and then Muse was able to connect.
Eg ftp.domain.com:21
Please try the 2 suggestion above and let me know if it works.
