Problem uploading newly created page on to my Internet sit.

Using DW MX I created a new page using an existing page,
changing content then saving it under a new name.
I notice the Upload Arrow is not uploading my edited old page and newly created page.
I press on it and I get a box that states the following:
"An FTP error occurred - cannot make connection to host.
Your login or password is incorrect. Plese check your connection information."
Anyone know the problem might be?

Mac to Mac file sharing - file permissions problem upon newly created files

Hi all,
At home I have two iMac's both running Snow Leopard.
iMac A/Users/*1 is sharing his iMac A/Users/*1/Documents folder.
The sharing & permissions - preferences of this folder and the files inside this folder are:
'*1' : (the iMac A's main user account) : Read & Write
'share' : (a Sharing Only account, set up from iMac A) : Read & Write
everyone : : No Access
iMac B/Users/*2 is able to read & write to this folder because he is connected with iMac A as 'share'.
So far so good. iMac A/Users/*1 can read & write to his own Documents folder
and so can iMac B/Users/*2 because he is connected to iMac A as 'share'.
But: this only applies to the folders and files that are _already in_ the iMac A/Users/*1/Documents folder,
because I once changed the sharing & permissions -permissions of iMac A/Users/*1/Documents as mentioned above and executed 'Apply to enclosed Items...'.
So the problem is: when I create a new file or folder on iMac A/Users/*1 or on
iMac B/Users/*2 and put it in iMac A/Users/*1/Documents, this new file or folder will only
have the standard sharing & permissions - preferences of any newly created file or folder
on the iMac X/Users/*Y it was created. The problem is those sharing & permissions - preferences
will not let the other iMac X"/Users/*Y" Read & Write to this new file or folder but only let himself
Read & Write. Following, the other iMac X"/Users/*Y" will only be able to Read the newly created
file or folder, because the standard standard sharing & permissions - preferences on
iMac A/Users/*1 as well as on iMac B/Users/*2 are the following:
'*Y' : (the iMac X's main user account) : Read & Write
staff : (Administrator accounts on iMac X) : Read only
everyone : : Read only
A pretty manual fix to this problem is walking to iMacX" and changing the
sharing & permissions - preferences of the newly created file or folder so that iMacX"
will also be able to Read & Write this newly created file or folder.
Does anyone know a better fix for my problem? Basicly I want to have Read & Write
sharing & permissions on the newly created file or folder for both iMac's,
not only the for the file or folder creator's iMac. And this without having to change
sharing & permissions - preferences of this newly created file or folder manually
each time.

Hi all,
I have found a thread wich i think also handles about my problem.
The standard sharing & permissions - preferences or privileges
can be changed apparently, this seems to have got something to do
with umask and changing this umask. The adress is the following:

Other ways to change the above-mentioned umask may be
applications like SharePoints, TinkerTool or BatChMod.
All of them are also mentioned in the above-mentioned thread.
I haven't executed the solution as mentioned in the above-mentioned
thread yet, replies to the thread speak about insecurity and failures.
Further more I haven't found any other solutions to my problem,
so any help is still greatly appreciated.

Wont put newly created pages

I have been put in charge of updating an existing web site
and have no problem modifying existing pages on the remote site.
However when I create new pages in the local site and go to put
them on the remote site I receive an error saying file activity
incomplete or permission denied. What is the problem and how can I
correct it to build my site.
I appreciate anyones knowledge and information on
this.

If anyone needs more info of what I am talking about let me
know and I will try to do a better job at describing my
issue.

How to publish newly created pages

I have completely revamped my website and deleted the old home page and associated pages. How do I publish the new pages? I tried publishing changes but now my website just errors out. There must be a check box somewhere, "publish this page", to prevent unfinished pages from being published, etc. Pardon me, I'm an iWeb novice.

Everything in a Site is published the first time. iWeb doesn't know what unfinished pages are.
Two solutions.
1. Hide the unfinished page from the menubar. Inspector>First icon from the left. The page will be published but your visitors will not see it.
2. Create a second Site and drag the unfinished page there. Do not publish the Site.
There must be a check box somewhere, "publish this page",
It's in the menu: Publish Site. It is assumed without checking a box.

Problem in Newly created routinue in VOFM

After that we activated after saving. But i am not seeing that routinue active status in active column.

Problem with newly created CM Repository NOT showing in Repositories Link

I am new to the Portal and this is the first time that I have created a CM Respository that is reaching out to a network drive (on a different domain and different server, our Platform is Windows). Here is what I have done so far...
1. Created a Windows file share
2. Configured a new CM Respository Manager (Persistence Mode FSDB)
I did the setup via System Administration, System Configuration, Knowledge Management, Content Management, Repository Managers, CM Repository.
It said it was created successfully but when I go into System Administration, System Configuration, Knowledge Management and then click on the link for "Repositories" (in the 3rd level navigation) it does not show up?
I restarted the service and still no luck...
How do I troubleshoot this??? I am not sure where to begin. Please be very detailed as this stuff is new to me.

I tried that and still no luck. Here is the interesting thing:
- If I change the DataBase mode to "DB", I get a green light in the monitor and it shows up properly within the Repository.
- If I change the Database mode to "FSDB, I get a Red light in the monitor and it shows and incorrect path
      "Startup Error: could not create directory:
172.xx.x.xx\folders\Root\Versions\versions"
      My actual path for "Root Directory" is "//172.xx.x.xx/folders/Root"
      The IP address is correct but where is the rest of this path coming from???

Problem accessing newly created servlet in Sun IDM

Hi, I am trying to implement Jcaptcha in Anonymous enrollment user form.
I have done following steps to access the JCaptcha sample servlet...When i try to access this servlet am getting..."The requested resource () is not available"...I have a feeling that i am missing some configuration at some place....please let me knwo what i am missing here....
1.Created servlet called "SimpleCaptchaServlet" and compiled and generated jar file and placed under /WEB-INF/lib...
2. created entry in the web.xml as follows....

Hi, I am not sure of what you mean...I guess you want me to test sample servlet...even sample hello world servlet does not work...again the the steps that i followed...
1.Create a servlet and place it under ../WEB-INF/lib/sample.jar
2.Create entry in web.xml
ran as follows: "http://localhost:8080/idm/servlet/helloworld"
Note: I am using "SJS app server 9.1_01" and "IDM 8.x version"...

JSC doesn't show newly created extended DataProviders

Hi,
I've been using JSC and Hibernate for a project.
According to Sun's how to using Hibernate + JSC (developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/learning/tutorials/2/hibernate.html) , I've created a wrapper class which extends ObjectListDataProvider, but instead of creating the property on the SessionBean, I did it on the PageBean.
The problem is that everytime I need to add another property to a page bean using one of my wrapper classes (extending ObjectListDataProvider), after following the how to instructions (compile the project, close and reopen), it doesn't appear as a property in the Outline panel.
After a while building, cleaning, etc. I managed to get it done in one page, but on newly created pages, the property doesn't appear on the panel.
Any ideas?
P.S.: If I instantiate a ObjectListDataProvider property, it's shown correctly.

I want to take this very slowly as I lost a lot of albums from my Homepage way back when there was a large glitch it the system. I don't want to have to recreate sites so need to be sure of what I am doing, step by step.

Error in Step 4.5 of the create page

Problem uploading files from Dreamweaver CS3 to Yahoo

I am having a problem uploading files from Dreamweaver CS3 to
an FTP site on Yahoo.
The error message I get is "No response from server.
Reconnecting..."
I am able to connect to Yahoo using other FTP clients
successfully.
I am able to connect to Yahoo using Dreamweaver MX 2004
successfully.
I tried playing with various settings (i.e. passive ftp,
server compatibility options) but to no avail.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I tried enabling passive FTP but it doesn't help.

I think the iCloud is OK.
i can see and manage documents in iCloud. i can create them on iPad and see them and delete them in iCloud.
But not on iMac.
i dont know what has happened and I am not abble to find the solution. It was OK till some days ago….

Retain newly created rows after page navigation.

I have designed two pages. On First page I have to create multiple rows and to assign some values I need to open another page.
The problem is once we create new rows on view object and if we redirect to any other page its view object is automatically executed and newly created rows will not be retained.!
I have tested redirection using both methods with retain AM to True, but its not working.

This is done automatically when user clicks on commit button on ADF create form, rows gets commited in database.

Can you give more details about your usecase..?
What happens when the same user comes back after closing the session? Do you want still show the blank page/table with out any previous data created by the same user..? If yes, what happens to the previously stored data..?
Basically, give a brief note on what you are trying to achieve..?
When user comes back to this page after closing this session, it will not show any rows in the ADF table.
user will enter new values to create new rows and this time again on click of commit button the newly row created for this session should be shown.
The previously created rows are already commited to database table
