Problem uploading workout/route to Sports Tracker ...

I've been using Sports Tracker 2.06 on my N82 v30.0.019 with no problems until I try to upload any workouts/routes. I can log onto the web service with no problems so I am totally confused. My phone displays a brief message "upload to web service failed. internal service error." I think. Please help anybody.

I too have a problem with uploading in the last 2 weeks. I get a message ' upload failed internal error' but when I log on to the Sports Tracker site the upload IS there, but without the map. The details are all correct, but no map.
On my phone (Nokia x6) the map of my route is there and correctly recorded.
Whats going on???

Help uploading nokia sports tracker media

I have started using nokia psrts tracker. I uploaded my lastest hike stats. When my phone asked to fidn associated media i entered 'ok'. it found all my pictures for that hikes on my cell but failed to upload them.
I have tried repeating the upload but now it tells me there is no associated media on my cell. The pics are still there unaltered.
Any help how i can resolve this? If i upload them one at a time manually it will take a long time and they wont be plotted on my route track. If i upload from the cell it does that automatic location tagging.
Further, I have succsefully used this service/application before.
Any help?

I see plenty of people using the website to upload workouts. On the phone, if I go to Training Diary, there is no no 'Send' in the option, but an upload button. Selecting this button, I only get: "Web Service. Our completely renewed online service for easy sharing and enhanced data visualization will be launched later. Stay tuned for an update!" I guess that this means that because I installed the latest version, that I can't use the web service! Anyone here have the same issue. Anyone have any news? .

Unable to import Laps to Nokia Sports tracker

Ive got a Nokia 6110 navigator and find Nokia sports tracker very usefull for tracking my Running execises. Th phone record everything include making laps for every 1 km, but when I upload the tour as a gpx-file to the sporttracker portal, I dont get the laps. Anybody have the same problem, or even better: a solution ?

Sports Tracker uploading problem

Whenever I try to upload a exercise to the web, it just says uploading, and nothing happens. It's stuck uploading. I am using a WLAN to upload. Anyone know what the problem is?

Sports Tracker Problem

I started to use Sports Tracker few days ago in my 5800 XM and found few mistakes in phone application. The training diarys calendar is some how misplaced. The week numbers and weekdays are up in the screen, but the main calendar are down in the screen. Don't know why? Maybe the software are not yet fully working with 5800XM. Second thing is that the nordic alphabets (A with two dots) is shown as square box. The O with two dots is sown correctly and if you write these alphabets to any field in the application they are shown correctly. Weird???
The biggest thing is with the Sports Tracker web community. When I try to import a GPX file to my account, the route is missing?? Everything else is imported to the workout but the route is missing from the map. When I import the file to Google Eart the route is shown. The workout is exported from Sporty Pal and there is the route show correctly. Any ideas why it is not shown in Sports Tracker???

Problems with new Sports Tracker 3.50

Hi,
i have tried the Brandnew SportsTracker 3.50.
It's a verfy nice App, but i have some problems:
Upload: After upload to service there are lost some data:
- no Energie Data (kCal)
-no SpeedMax / Speedmin / Lowestpoit/ Highest Point / Data
-Media Information about the played Songs during training are not avaliable
All this data are visible and available at the App on the mobile Phone
Is there any Dokumentaion available ?
What means "Replay Funktion" ? If I press "Replay/ Start", there apears nothing

Exactly the same happened to my iPhone 3GS. While Apple Service proposed to send the iPhone to repair centre I´ve found that the problem only happened with activated SIM card pin security check. Switching pin checking off and re-installing software again helped. There are other threads discussing similiar problems; maybe, it is a matter of the service provider (Vodafone in my case).

Nokia maps / sport tracker problems on 5800

hi ive got nokia maps version 2.0 on my 5800 and just downloaded sport tracker but it doesnt show the map . i gather it only works on version 3.0 but i cant seem to update my maps or my map installer . anyone got any ideas cheers

Unfortunately NokiaSportsTracker and NokiaMaps don't share the map-ressources (it's probably planned in future versions of NokiaSportsTracker).
Therefore you have to establish an internet connection when you start NokiaSportsTracker and after that the application will load the maps from the web if you are on the map-page of a track.

N95 updated, Sports Tracker problem

I had Sports Tracker installed in my phone memory. I updated new firmaware to N95 (did not make any backup). I tought that I can have my contacts with PC Suite, and maybe it is better put programs to clear phone.
Then I tried to install alla programs again. Loaded Sports Tracker (and other, they play normally), and installed it with NSI. Icon is there in programs, when i clik it, something happen about 1s, but program do not open.
I tried to uninstall it and install again... same thing.

Did not help this hard reset.
But I found solution:
I removed old folder "SportsTracker" from my memorycard. Now it is playing fine.

Sports Tracker on E71x

Been using the Sport Tracker app on my new E71x via ATT and I cannot get the "Training Diary" menu to open.
Every time I try to choose that option it closes the application. This makes it impossible to manage routes and to manual uploads to downloads from the website.
I can to workouts with liek feeds to the web and the main screen shows the # of workouts in the training section but I can't get to them.
Any ideas?
Numerous installs and uninstalls to both internal memory and sd card make no difference.

Sports Tracker - where's the map ?

Hi !
Is the map supposed to appear in Sports Tracker ? In one of the views, I can see that the application is trying to map out my route but there background is blank.
Is this a problem with my phone ? If this is as design, what is the purpose of this view as there is no map to reference my position.

Sports Tracker on Lumia 1020

Hello
I´been using Sport Tracker in my Nokias (N95,N8) and i could tranfer all my tracks saved phone to phone... Now, with the Lumia 1020, I can only access the tracks uploaded to the web .. how I can access to the tracks I have stored locally? . And in an older versions the geotagged pics are showed in the tracks but now i don´t know how to do this..
Another thing, It´s seems that the app doesn´t work the background, It happens to someone else? Any help? thanks a lot

Sports Tracker is a joke on Lumia 820 and Lumia 925 also. Dropping connected GPS route and seems to be more or less useless on these devices. Nokia Corp is available as one of the 2 apps that is downloadable for the application sports tracker so....
Anyhow, I started to use Runtastic instead on my Lumia devices and it is rock solid and far more features..even some are for a fee.
If you dont use Symbian devices also just switch to Runtastic...Now.

New Sports Tracker (from Sports Tracker Technologi...

I have used this App for years now and just upgraded a few weeks ago to the new 3.01(0) (S60 5.0) from Sports Tracker Technologies for the N97 Mini.
I have noticed a major problem with the new application which pretty much drains my N97 battery within a couple of hours from full charge, and if you like to cycle for more than 2 hours this is a real pain in the neck.
I have tested every other app, on standby, the old Nokia beta version and no problem with the battery (I even bought a new battery!). I reported the problem to the new company in Mid July (twice) and have still to even get an acknowledgement that they received my email.
I also reported a more minor issue at the same time where by all screens do not show up in the selected unit of measure (e.g. if you select miles/imperial as the default) the month summary screen still shows Kms...
Have to say... a disappointing start with a major flaw and no response from the company....

Nice nickname. I presume you are from Galway.
Firstly, the Sports Tracker application is no longer a Nokia application. It has been taken over by a 3rd party developer and as such, it is no longer supported by Nokia themselves.
I regularly use it for hill walking and am aware of the battery situation when using it. There are a couple of things you can do to increase battery life. The first is to set the Access Point to ask when needed and you need to say "No" when asked. The second is to set the Workout Backlight to Automatic.

Sports tracker on 5800xm?

have anybody out there been able to get any version of sports tracker to work on the 5800?? i've gotten several of the 3.x version to install without any bigger problems than a warning that the version is incompatible with the device...but i can't get the app to start...

N73 Sports Tracker Still Does Not Work PLEASE FIX

I see people complained about this before /t5/Nseries-Devices-and-S60/Nokia-Sports-Tracker-Won-t-Start-N73/m-p/336675 That was in 2009 with older versions of Sports Tracker. Yesterday i installed the latest firmware from the Nokia website for the N73 on my phone and i just installed Sports Tracker 2.06 on the phone but it does NOT start. Same issue as the other people had in 2009. Is this a new problem now or did Nokia did not learn from its mistakes / failures?! Info of my N73: Firmware version: 4.0839.42.2.1 Sports Tracker version: 2.06 Sports Tracker is installed on phone memory (not sd card) No other extra software is running that could give issues with Sports Tracker (clean installed phone). I really hope to see this problem being fixed as soon as possible. I run 4x a week and my N73 is always with me with Sports Tracker. If it is not possible to fix it i should have to buy a new phone. And that would be a HTC instead.

Sportstracker was a nokia beta product but nokia have now ceased development of this experimental service. They are leaving the old site in place for the foreseeable future to support older devices but no further improvements or fixes will be made.
With it being clearly labelled a beta nokia are under no obligation to fix or support this free service any longer.
Another company has now picked up the rights to use and develop the application further but it is unclear if they will be supporting models as old as the N73.
