Problem using canopus advc55 as a source for photoshop/premiere elements 13?

I have installed photoshop elements 13 on an imac yosemite.
I have been using canopus advc55 as a digital video convertor to transfer vhs videos to digital.
It works with imovie.
However elements 13 does not recognise advc 55 as a source.
Can anyone advise whether this is possible or not.

  • Download Source for Photoshop & Premiere Elements 10

    Hello guys,
i installed Windows 8 and now my Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements is gone.
I only got a serial key for version 10, but cannot find any download source.
It would be great if somebody could post a link or something.

  • Will Adobe consider a patch for Photoshop/Premiere elements 8?

I have been a fan of both programs for several releases but I have found that the software has diminished in quality over the past few releases.  Adobe's new annual upgrade model does not work since it only introduces new bugs that only get fixed in the next paid release.  Given the problems with 8 and Windows 7 will a patch release be considered?
    Thanks,
    Curt

Based on the past several years, it seems pretty unlikely Adobe will ship a bug-fix release for PSE 8:

PSE 5, 1/2007: Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0.2 update - Compatibility with Vista
PSE 4, 1/2006: Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 Help package - Help files
PSE 3, 5/2005: Camera Raw 3.1 update - Easier downloading of templates; European date formats
PSA 2, 1/2004: Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0.1 update - Many bug fixes
PSA 1, 4/2003: Adobe Photoshop Album 1.0.1 update - Many bug fixes
PSE 2, 11/2002: Ignore EXIF Color Space utilities (2.0) - Better compatibility with Adobe RGB JPEGs
PSE 1, 1/2002: Adobe Photoshop Elements Pentium 4 update - Fixes for Intel MMX processors; plug-in fixes

  • Can you use SQL as a data source for a project in the same way you can in Excel?

Excel allows you to create a data source that executes a SQL stored procedure, display that data as a table in a spreadsheet and have that data automatically refresh each time you open the spreadsheet. Is it possible to do the same thing in MS Project, displaying
the data from the stored procedure as a series of tasks?
Here's what I'm trying to do - I have a stored procedure that pulls task data meeting a specific criteria from all projects in Project Server. We're currently displaying this data as an Excel report. However, the data includes start dates and durations so
it would be nice to be able to display it as a Gantt Chart. I've played around with creating a Gantt chart in Excel and have been able to do a very basic one, but it doesn’t quite fit our needs.

No, You can not use sql as a data source for a project.
You have 3 options to achieve it:
    1. You can create a Sharepoint list with desired column ,fill desired data in that list then you can create a MS project from Sharepoint List.
    2. You can create a SSRS report in which you can display grantt chart Joe has given you that link.
    3. You can write a macro in MPP which will take data from your excel. In excel you will fetch data from your stored procedure. write a schedule which will run every day to update your data or
create an excel report in which will update automatically and write macro in mpp which will fetch the data then publish it so that it would be available to team members.

  • Hi, I have problem with importing MOV files from SJCAM 4000. MOV files are in supported formats for Adobe Premiere Elements 11. But if I'm importing MOV file, only audio part is imported, video part is not imported. How can I solve this problem?

Hi, I have problem with importing MOV files from SJCAM 4000. MOV files are in supported formats for Adobe Premiere Elements 11. But if I'm importing MOV file, only audio part is imported, video part is not imported. How can I solve this problem?

    haben
From looking at the specifications of your camera (SJCam 4000), we know already what video compression your camera is using. It is H.264.
A H.264.mov file should be supported by Premiere Elements 11. On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running?
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer? And, are you running QuickTime and Premiere Elements 11 from a
User Account with administrative privileges? Please go to Premiere Elements 11 Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime to confirm that you find
presets there for the QuickTime choice there.
What are the properties of these H.264.mov files - is it 1080p30 (1920 x 1080p30)  or something else? Do you know if this camera is recording with a variable or
    a constant frame rate?
Please review and consider and then we will decide what next.
    Thank you.

  • Problems w/ buring DVD of photo slide show & best Premiere Elements 8 upgrade recommendation please.

I created a video slide show in Adobe Photoshop & Premiere elements 8, kept getting messages:  "disk space low, exceeded recommended #of slides and/or recommended 30 minute duration".  So what, I want a 90 minutes slide slow?(!)  It allowed me to complete, but disk burn would never finalize (after stopping at 78% 8 hours later).  How do I get this project file to burn in Nero or something similar and is there better software out there?  I have a ton of videos to create after this photo slide show & I certainly can't wait all night for a video to burn after it is created.
PS:  I have had this problem w/ previous videos I created.  i.e. in the past, using same Premiere Elements version, I have combined multiple video clips into one DVD movie but it took all night to burn.  Any insight will be much appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum.
I agree with John T., in that the pixel x pixel size of the Still Images would be the first thing that I would look into.
Next, I interpret that error message to be related to the available HDD space. His links on furnishing more info will be important there. Pay special attention to furnishing the full specs. of your I/O sub-system, i.e. your HDD's, their size, speed, available defragmented free-space, controller type and how you have them allocated.
A 90 min. DVD should NOT be over the avilable space on a DVD-5 disc.
If you DO have adequate defragmented free-space on your HDD(s), you should be able to Burn to Folder, and then use Nero, Roxio or the great, free ImgBurn, to do the physical burn to DVD.
However, if you have limited defragmented free-space, that will likely fail, as the working files required are very large.
In very general terms, PrE needs between 40 - 60GB of defragmented free-space, just to run effectively and efficiently. When one does either a Burn to Folder, or Burn to Disc, that necessary space can go up.
Also remember that as one approaches about 70% of HDD capacity, performance decreases. As one nears 100%, performance can slow to a crawl, and at 100% catastrophic failure of the HDD is a strong possibility. One should not exceed about 70%, and NEVER go to 100%.
Good luck, and please let us know more, and especially about your I/O sub-system.

The CD comes with the book and the practice files are not downloadable (AFAIK - but I haven't used the book myself).  You need to buy a new book from Amazon if you want the lesson files.

There is a known No Disc error using Premiere Elements 13.
The fix is to delete the OldFilm.AEX file which is found in Window 8.1 64 bit
    Local Disk C
    Program Files
    Adobe
    Adobe Premiere Elements 13
    Plug-ins
    Common
    NewBlue
and in the NewBlue Folder is the OldFilm.AEX file that you delete.
Adobe first posted this information in one of the threads here, and it has worked for essentially all who have
gotten the No Disc error in Premiere Elements 13.
Please let us know if this works for you also.
    Thank you.

There is no download available for version 3 that I am aware of - version 9 is the oldest available offered by Adobe.  Serial numbers are only valid for the version they were purchased for.

  • Why can't I download "Added Content for Adobe Premiere Elements 10"?

I have purchased the dual-packaged Adobe Photoshop elements 10 and Adobe Premiere Elements 10 - Then when launching the Premiere Elements I get a message to download the "content for Adobe Premiere Elements"
I have tried to do this for a couple of hours now, and I have no idea why I can't get a link.... I keep getting referred to pages with no links at all...
    Can anyone help?.

Actually, I DOWNLOADED this "bundled" program (as opposed to retail)... and of course, I have no CD's....
But I did figure it out - The "buyer-user" should log in to Adobe and go to https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/store/html/index.cfm?store=OLS-US&event=displayDownloads There UREKA I found it... and it installed fine.
Hower, I do think your lay-out of the help pages on this matter could be improved.
But thanks again for taking the time to answer and warm regards,
    Bill
