Problem using flash prof.

Hello,
I got Adobe Flash Professional CS5, but i can't use it. When i start it, there are only te borders of the different parts. There is no content in e.g. the properties part. Either it's a gray field or i see my windows background. Same is with the Timeline.
What can the problem be?
I already checked the System requirements:
- I have a Pentium 4(3.00 GHz)
- 1GB of RAM -> I have 4 GB(3 unused befor start)
- I have 1280x1024. and a ATI Radeon X300 SE 128MB graphiccard(not the best, i know^^, but should be enough?)
- the newest Quicktime
Seems to be all ok, but it doesn't work...
Has anyone an idea?

thanks a lot. Changing the theme works. But it's still strange:
I changed to "Windows Classic" => still not works
I restarted => It works
I changed back to my previous theme => Still works
There seems to be a boot bug anywhere.
So if I want to use it, i'll restart once and re-applay my theme(maybe even a re-login works...)
Not the best, but a possible solution.

(other CS5 applications didn't work either)
Edit: Now it even works without the restart... I don't understand windows
(I haven't changed anything except this one time classic theme)

Amazon Kindle problem using Flash Builder 4.6

Is there a way to specify a version of Air 2.7 using Flash Builder 4.6? This would be handy for getting apps accepted by the Amazon App store for the Kindle. Recently, I had an app accepted into the Amazon App store. However, the App needs to use a version of Air that preceeds Air 3.1. The version that I was advised to use is
Adobe AIR v. 2.7.1.1999.
I tried changing the 2nd line in the prog-app.xml file from:

to
<application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/2.7">
However, this change led to an error:
"See details for more information.
Namespace 2.7 in the application descriptor file should be equal or higher than the minimum version 3.1 required by Flex SDK. "
I recall that there was a temporary workaround for a similar problem with the Blackberry tablet OS. The Blackberry OS problem was later solved and the fix is no longer necessary. Perhaps, we need a work around for the Amazon Kindle to force the Flash Builder 4.6 to compile a release with Air 2.7.1.xx?
Any ideas how to make this happen?

Problem Using Flash FLV Video Via Dreamweaver CS3

I have been unable to get my FLV video to play on my website.
I seem to have two problems:
1) I want the FLV file to be hosted in a different domain to
the website itself (for bandwidth reasons) and it doesn't want to
do that!
2) I would prefer to use Flash skins rather than Dreamweaver
skins as I want to offer a full-screen option but I cannot get them
to work!
If I host the FLV file on the website domain, the video plays
ok. If I change the file location in the Properties of the movie to
become the FLV located on the other domain (using full path
http://<etc>flv) then nothing
displays on that part of the page. Firebug tells me it has loaded
the AC_RunActiveContent.js and FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf but it
makes no mention of the skin file or the flv file itself ... it is
as if it just simply has not bothered with it! I suspect I am
missing something obvious but cannot find it. All help would be
appreciated. By the way, I have loaded up a crossdomain.xml file to
the root of the domain that hosts the flv file but that didn't seem
to make any difference!
The second challenge is that ideally I would like to use a
Flash skin so that I can have a full-screen option and so that I
can have the menu bar under the video itself. However, I can't even
get that option to work when I host the whole lot on the normal
webserver! I am suspecting that it might be something that might
suddenly start working when I fix problem 1. However, if anybody
has any links to a page that provides simple instructions about how
to do this task I would greatly appreciate it!

1) Why not post your video to YouTube or Google Video and
then embed the
code they provide into your website. This way their servers
carry the
bandwidth for you and the scripted embed code will work on
your site.
2) If Video sharing isn't an option, and you need more

Problem using Flash ads

I frequently see ads using Flash, that load and play fine but
when i click on links like "get your free sample" my browser does
not respond or go anywhere. I have the newest version installed and
have checked my settings, but clearly I am missing something. ANY
help would be appreciated beyond human conception.

The next official release, due out in the next week or so, should address this problem.

Problems using Flash Presentation / Slide with IE

I have created a slideshow using the Flash presentation /
slide component. All images are the same size. When the movie loads
in Firefox, the slide show works fine. However in IE, the first
image is loaded off center. The top left corner of the image is
placed in the center of the screen. All subsequent images load
fine. This is an intermittent problem as it does not happen all the
time.
Has anyone seen this problem and know of a solution.

I am trying to open a paper demanding flash - all the time I get the message you need flash - download here
Still I am using Crome browser, with flash as enabled plugin
So I downloaded flash and installed. then I got this message - and the paper still demands flash - I have checked on the plugin and restarted the computer and still I am not able to open the paper
What can I do?

Strange problem using flash in dreamweaver

Ok so i'm experimenting with flash on my site. The banner came out perfect. It went onto my site just as easy. So then I wanted to play around with other flash buttons. So I made a flash link to my blog page. It worked great in dreamweaver. Then I testest it with IE and firfox and still it worked great. So I uplouded it to my site and no matter what I do it doesn't show up on the page. I looked in the code view and it's there it's just not visible. Does anyone see what I did wrong. Your problem may just be a matter of file naming but it could also be a targeting issue. The swf seems to be occupying the space assigned to it.
As a general practice, you should never include spaces in filenames if you plan to use them on the web.
If changing that doesn't fix the problem, then does your file load another file? If so, it's possible you didn't load that file to the server or are not properly targeting it in the Flash file.

Problem using flash plugin with major browsers

Flash plugin (current release 11.05.31) is not working properly on major browsers. Some movie clips (created with flash) with jpeg images are not loaded correctly. The images are not visible and you see a blank screen. With new "beta" release 11.5.502.131 everything works well.
Will the new release solve this problem?

I am trying to use Virtual Credit Card Number software with Firefox. I downloaded Flash Player 11.8.800.168 But when I try to open the Virtual Number software it continues to tell me to install Flash player. Any help out there?

Using Flash's frame anchors problem

Problems with flash photos on iPhone 4s

I have a black iPhone and my friend has a white iPhone, both 4s. I have no problem taking flash photos with mine, but on hers, when the light from the flash LED comes on and then fires at the moment of taking the picture, it is like the light is almost "bleeding" into the white back cover. When you look at it when this happens, the light source is no longer just the small LED, but is now an area of the back cover the size of your fingernail. This seems to be having the affect of causing all the flash photos to look like you have taken the photo in fog. There is a white "cloud" across the entire photo, making it totally unusable as a photo, you cannot see ANYTHING at all. I have made sure there is nothing in front of the lens or flash (fingerprints or scratches) and the camera takes perfectlly fine non-flash photos. My black iPhone 4s does NOT do this. Also tried with and without a case on the iPhone, to make sure it wasn't light catching the edge of the hole on the case and reflecting back to the lens. Does the same thing when the case is completely removed from the iPhone. Any suggestions ?

I have a problem with my iphone 5s flash. Everytime I shoot a photo without flash, it works properly. However, when I use flash photos appear with a white mist( no case on). What's the problem?

Compatibility between Flash Prof. CS5 to CS6

I am starting a Digital Media class in college and CS5 is what is setup on the computers and textbooks are also about CS5 as well. They haven't upgraded to CS6 yet. I am mainly doing Photoshop, Flash Professional, and Illustrator in this class. I have just paid for and downloaded the Creative Cloud and everything pertains to CS6.
My question is should I stick with using Flash Prof. CS5? Or can CS6 be used as long as I don't use the newer parts of the program?
Also will there be compatible issues in say for instance I am doing a project and going back and forth from my computer at home (with CS6) to working on it at school (with CS5)? (Again only using the three programs I mentioned above)

cs6 can be used.
any class, method, property or event that works for flash player 10 will work with the cs5 version at your school. the help files list the flash player version needed for every class, method, property and event.
when you save a fla (using cs6) that you want to open using cs5, use "save as" and select Flash CS5 document. If you fail to do that and save as a CS6 document, your school's Flash will be unable to open that document and display an "unrecognized file format" message.
