Problem using Gprs in nokia 603

i am facing alot of problem while using internet on my nokia 603.it takes me hours to connect even sometime whole day long. The message that shows up is '' connection failed,'' or ''connection unavailable''..called my service provider n install settings many times but its the problem with my cel..if anybody could help me out???

hi mate,
have you checked another SIM card on your device to see if that works, even from another provider? also if your SIM appears in old condition, then it may be a good idea to get a new SIM from your network carrier and try that. failing that, check via Nokia Suite to see if there are any firmware updates available for your device, if there are any, please update to the latest version offered. failing that, try re-installing your current firmware thru Nokia Suite.

Problem using e-63 Nokia

Prob.1- I have almost 800 contacts saved in my pc transferred by blootooth from Motorolla L6i. These are perhaps saved in outlook format. Now I have copied this contact folder in my newly purchased E-63 through USB port in mass storage device but I am not able to retrieve these contact from my phone memory.
Prob-2. The phone memory also does not show the messages and contacts of SIM card.

Nokia 603 problem with headset audio after updatin...

Prior belle fp2 sound was working fine, after updating to belle fp2 headset sound turns too noisy, reinstalling update is of no use as i came to know that these update actually update the rom better to patched ROM. Once you have a buggy update it is hard to fix it by updating, The only solution i see is the BOX Flushing. I am pretty sure this is a software issue, as i have tried different headset and also changed the audio jack. Visiting the Nokia care is a pathetic experience. I already visited once, they charged me for doing nothing, when my cell was in warantee period. Cell was returned as it was. I don't believe on nokia anymore, i am expecting someone can help me in this situation.

It can be the same issue, as there are actually two microswitches in there: one for diverting analog output from the speakers to the phones, and another one for switching analog to digital when a TOSlink cable is plugged in.
Do you see a red dot of light way in the back? If yes, then the jack got switched to digital mode.

Nokia 603 SMS thread view problem

Hi All, My nokia 603 is unable to display the message in thread view. whenever the SMS is sent or recieved it will show some random integers. but if i enter to the folder view I am able to view the entire message. This is happening all of a sudden without any change done in the phone. Some one pls clarify whether it is the known issue, if so please gimme the solution. Thanks, Muralids

We haven't confirmed if this is a known bug as it's not included in the list of Nokia 603 reported issues posted here: Firmware change logs for Symbian (S60) devices.
However, you may try these troubleshooting steps to fix the problem:
1. Check if the conversation view is still activated. Go to Menu, tap on Messaging, and then hit Options ( ≡ ). After that, choose View folders, hit Options ( ≡ ) again, and then select Message View. Set it to Conversations View.
2. If the first option didn't work, try the steps provided in this link: Nokia 603 - Need help in fixing a problem?

Hi, I just bought Nokia 603 one week back but i had to give it back to nokia are for charging problem, anyway my point is all nokia hardly had problems with charging but now with nokia 603 it is really strange. Can Nokia please check in to this

Even on my 701, charging port given keeps on disconnecting now and then. Maybe because of new fast charger.

Problem using internet on 9300 Nokia

Dear Sir
i m using internet on Nokia 9300, the site is in Arabic, half the site is opening nromally, but the part which is being regularly update, its like a table for stock market is blank white, so i wanna know wether it has to do something with Java coz most of the websites r using java, or its just language compatibility problem.

i have recently bought a new nokia 603 ( march 2012 ) and didint used it much uptill now just 1 hour talk counter it runned uptill now, i upgrade it as soon as i bought it in the month of march, till 10th april it showed that your phone is up to date upgraded, but jsut two days before(12th april), i check online through wi-fi that its updates are availble of ( improved software size 24mb ), i didnt updated it as i was short of time, so i left it as it is, and didint proceed with the update ( i didnt pushed any button to start the update ). after aafew hours my frined called me and told me that Skype has started to work in Nokia 603 as it was not working prevoiusly, i checked in my phone just 5 mints and Skype really started to work, i just went to office, over thier i recieved a call from my client and during call my phone got switched off by itself, i tired to restsrt it, but it didnt, on way back to home i took the phone to NOKIA CARE PAKISTAN(peshawar) office, they told me your phone software is totally dead and we will try to put another software in it, i was so much depressed that how Nokia is using such sub-standard software that it corrupted in just afew days, i really felt ashamed of buying Nokia phone, as i am an old fan of Nokia phones but Nokia 603 really disappointed me.

As you have spoken to our Nokia Care in Pakistan, they will be able to deal with your issue promptly and fix your Nokia 603 as it will be still under warranty.

I'm really frustated with Nokia 603 wifi.It doesnt activate the internet whilst my other mobile have no problem or issue connecting and activating to the wifi.From what I read mostly the wifi issue here.Can someone out there assist me with this problem?I called the Nokia tech support team but they themselves is a failure to trouble shoot this problem.I have thought of not supporting Nokia anymore.This problem has been month without solution.Now I'm using my othe brand mobile to use wifi connection.

Nokia 603 mail not synchronising through wi-fi

I have a 7month old Nokia 603, which I've updated to Belle FP2. While it had Belle and then the Belle FP1 update, the Nokia mail didn't have any problem synchronising my emails through wifi connection. But currently in Belle FP2, mail refresh works only on mobile data, and doesn't update when connected to wifi. I use manual mail update, so that it checks for mail, when I refresh the mailbox. But it doesn't refresh anymore through wifi. Please do advice regarding the solution for this problem.

Very slow GPRS on Nokia 2690

I bought Nokia 2690 yesterday. It's a nice phone but there is one problem when I try to use GPRS it works very slow. I am using Ufone (Pakistan). Plz can anyone help me solving this issue.

thats not because of your phone, did you try your sim in some other phones? Speed or bandwith depends on your network. If someone using same network is faster than your's contact your service provider

Nokia 603 original apps missing

so i recently gota a nokia 603 from my dad as a birthday present....i used it for a while and changed some settings...after doing this i decided to do a hard reset on the device.......after the fone restarted i noticed that some of the original apps had gone missing.....and also i cannot access social, nokia store, maps...and other preinstalled apps through mobile data..but its possible to access them through wifi...please help me

afaik it's caused by hard resetting the device by quad-key combination. I've had the same problem and had to ask in nokia service for OS flashing

Use GPRS to connect to internet - WHERE DO I ENTER APN number

i am in India, trying to use my GPRS phone (Nokia 9300) to connect to the internet via blue tooth.
My service provider says that he needs to know where I can enter the APN number details, without which I cannot connect.

which service provider are your using Airtel/Hutch...
To connect to GPRS first make sure all your Handset settings are perfect (you can browse internet from your handset).
Turn on on the bluetooth on your handset, make it discoverable. Open the bluetooth item on the top bar (i dont know what is it called) on the Mac. Turn on bluetooth.. select set up bluetooth device from the same menu.. follow the instructions and you are done...
If you still have problems call your Mac dealer or AppleCare and they can sort this out for you... or leave your number here can i can call you...

Problem with GPS on Nokia Ovi Maps

Hello everybody! I have a problem with GPS on my Nokia E90. Please can anybody help me with this problem. When i try to find my location using GPS with Nokia Ovi Maps the program show me a table like in the picture, but if i use Google Map the GPS work fine.
Please can anyone help me to fix this problem??? Thanks!

Some days ago i just format my mobile but till now the GPS on Nokia Ovi Maps wokrs fine. I just don't know why after i format my mobile the Ovi shows me this message.
When i go to Menu -> GPS -> GPS Data -> Navigation -> Options -> Satellite status, my phone shows me this mesage:
1-st image is when i am inside of my room and
2-nd image is when i am outside of my room.
Can you tell me what does this message mean???

So many problems trying to install Nokia suite / P...

Hi people,
Getting more or less the same error when trying to install ovi or pc suite. (latest version)
Even though i sitll get the latest cable drivers from the nokia website it sitll tells me i dont have the latest,
I have gone through and uninstalled everything i cna find to do with nokia within windows and used pc suite cleaner too. Have removed every entry in the registry associated with nokia and claled nokia and connectivity and sync.
Yet still i am faced with this error during installations of OVI or PC Suite:
'Something's gone wrong, the version of nokia connectivity cable driver already installed on this computer is newer than the one you are trying to install. installation will not continue.'
Can somebody help as i have literally got rid of absolutely EVERY trace of the word 'nokia' i can find within windows and the registry.
Even done a search for things containing the word nokia and deleted them.
