  • Netflix problem using Firefox 9.0.1 (mac), unable to remove items from queue but I can from Safari. Anyone had this problem? Talked to Netflix they can remove items on their end.

iMac OS 10.5.8, 2.66 GHz, 4gb memory. I've tried with adblock on and off. I use HTTPS Everywhere.
Netflix suggested it might be a browser issue and to try Safari. I was able to remove items from queue using Safari.

Addendum: The .jpg file, below, shows the netflix popup I get when trying to delete a video.

  • Key swap problem using Microsoft keyboard with my Mac

The keyboard used with my TiBook is an old (circa 1997) ergonomic "Natural Keyboard" made by Microsoft. I'd like to fix the problem of having the "Command" key function swapped with the "Alt" key. Downloading and installing the latest Microsoft keyboard driver for Mac (for OSX 1 thru 4) didn't fix the problem (even though I checked the box to swap the "Command" key (i.e., the Windows key) and ALT key. Is my keyboard just too old?

  • Has anyone experience any problems using Leopard on a Power Mac G5?

Judging from the posts I see on here it seems that most Leopard problems are with iMacs and laptops. I have a Power Mac G5 and I haven't yet had any major problems. Has anyone else using a Power Mac G5 had any issues that I should watch out for?

I installed Leopard this weekend on a 2x2 G5, and I have problems serious problems. The first is that Leopard is not compatible with Apple's iPhoto version 2.x, but Apple did not publish this information.
Secondly, and more seriously, now I cannot even power up the computer. Only two hours ago I was working with an Apple tech rep over the phone to debug the iPhoto problem. We deleted some iPhoto files and did some unusual reboots. A Now I can not power up the CPU. The power light is flashing, and I cannot restart the pram.
I have been on hold with apple support for over an hour. Watch out for their voice activate phone system, it will desktop users to the laptop group even though I said "desktop".

  • How I do I solve my problem using youtube on my safari browser?

When I watch a video on YouTube, the comments section does not load. I can read or post comments on youtube when I use other browsers.

I just returned from Italy. I have a US Verizon iPad (new version). I bought a microSIM card at the TIM store in Rome along with 5GB of data for 30 days. I installed the SIM card. Then, under General in Settings I did a reset of Network Settings. The iPad restarted, recognized the TIM 3G network, and from there is was smooth sailing.
I had excellent 3G coverage in both Roma and Cortona (Tuscany).

  • Changing charts in Safari

    Hello
I have problem while changing charts in Safari. If I open few of them (all are loaded) and decide to spend like a minute reading something in one chart and then decide to switch to another chart, it loads again the whole website. I noticed that this does not happen on my friends iPad Air ;(.
    Did someone have similar issue?
    Thanks a lot.
    I have iPad Mini Retina.

I meant changing tabs in Safari, sorry for the mistake, difficult day ;)

  • Problems with E mail on my MAC using SAFARI

When I click on the purple E mail button I then get onto the Login page. The toolbar then displays (for an instant only) British  Telecommunications PLC  highlighted in GREEN and then   signin1.bt.com. As I say the green highlighted part disappears --the remainder stays---but I do not get through to my E mails.
It is not a network problem as I get through to my E mails using this route on both my Firefox and Chrome browsers. I should also add that the link did work perfectly fine until yesterday.  Any help gratefully received!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Just had the same problem. Clearing cache/resetting Safari only works once then the next visit shows the same problem.
The only real answer for me is to use Firefox and then Google Maps wont work properly ... fun ?

  • I am currently using Firefox Version 1.5.0.12 on my iBook G4 with Mac OS X Version 10.3.9. I have problems using Facebook. What can I do?

I am currently using Firefox Version 1.5.0.12 on my iBook G4 with Mac OS X Version 10.3.9. I have problems using Facebook. I cannot confirm friend requests or view messages in the inbox for instance. What can I do?
== URL of affected sites ==
    http://facebook.com

Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever release for Mac OSX 10.3.9 and earlier versions, but that may not work any better because some large websites are blocking those older browsers or dropping support for older browsers like IE6 & earlier, and Firefox 2 & earlier due to security issues.
Using Safari on those websites ''(not enough total users for websites to be concerned about)'', or installing a new version of MacOSX are two solutions; or getting a new computer.

  • Spry Horizontal Menu problem in Safari Mac/Windows

    Hello!
Has anyone run into a problem using a horizontal spry menu and it showing up corectly in Safari?  The menu is centered but I cannot get the table to center underneath.  I then wrapped the table in a div and center aligned it, after addeding a <br/> (just trying stuff to no avail.)
Here is a link to a site I am working on.
    http://tesibridal.com/NEW/index.html
So far I have found it does not work in Safari 3.2.1/Mac & Safari 3.2.2 and gives me a whole new set of spacing problems in Explorer (which I will address all of those next).
Thank you in advance for your time.

    Hi clead16,
What do you mean by "do not load properly in internet
explorer"? I checked the site in IE6 and IE7 and it the menus
    render OK.
You may want to also take a look at the

  • 10.4.9 Scroll Wheel Problem - using Safari with a mouse with scroll wheel.

Since installing 10.4.9 I have noticed that when on web sites with Safari, when using the scroll wheel on my Logitech MX1000 Laser cordless mouse (Jan 2005) with Logitech control Center 2.1.3 (latest), suddenly you can no longer scroll using the wheel, in fact the mouse becomes "Dead" (the trackpad, too), so you cannot use the scroll arrows either. You have to quit Safari and restart Safari. Unfortunately this has happened 1-2 times/day and only since installing 10.4.9....... MacBook (May 2006, first ones) 2 gHz RAM.
Any form you are filling-out -- not possible to send, since you cannot click the send button...
Has anyone seen this problem or similar mousing problems running 10.4.9?
    Thanks.
    Steve Schulte 19 March 2007

NOTE: I have just learned that the Logitech Control Center 2.1.3 is NOT compatible with Mac OS 10.4.9 but that Logitech is working on 2.1.4-- so if others are having a similar problem, then it is not your Mac!
Hopefully this will be out shortly--- and if anyone hears anything, kindly post.
Regards, Steve Saturday 31 March 2007

Have you tried using Activity Monitor to shut down Safari?
    Ciao.
Have you clicked on the Safari icon in the dock and seen if 'Force Quit' is displayed?

    Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck.
