Problem viewing photo attachments on my mac

Hi,
When I open emails on my mac that have a photo attachment, it just shows a question mark, yet I can view the photos on my iPad and iPhone mail...

Your profile shows you have Mavericks 10.9.3, but can you confirm that the family member you are testing with has also updated per this article?

Hi, I need to transfer photos from iphone to mac. My mac can 'see' my iphone with iphoto open, but the box says there are no photos to download. Could anyone help me please? This has never been a problem before (it was fine about 2 weeks ago). I've tried turning both devices off and have spent a couple of hours trying to search for this problem on the internet. I can't remember when I updated to OS 7.1 but I guess that was recently; could this be the problem? Thank you so much.

Problem viewing photos in PE Organiser

Desperately need help with a problem viewing my pics in PE 9 Organiser. Many (most) of my photos will not display properly - instead, in their frames are yellow (?)'s in the upper left hand corner and blue (?)'s in the center. That is the situation whether I am in the "thumbnail" display or the "import batch" mode of "Display".
Strangely, I have used a number of these photos in an album recently and they displayed perfectly then.
Anyone have a clue???

photos to the links -- maybe I should just delete the links?
I have another problem whch you may be able to help me with if you don't mind. I've discovered that my DVD Player only recognizes .jpg or .mpg format and my Photo Elements wants to create the slideshows in .wmv. Any suggestion sfor changing that.

I have problems viewing photos in blogs using Blogger

I have a couple of blogs that I frequent and lately (within the last month or so), I am having trouble viewing photos the bloggers have posted. Sometimes the first photo will seem to load, but by the time the entire page has loaded, where there is a photo, all I can see if a small rectangle. These are bloggers who are using Blogspot/Blogger. No one else seems to be having a similar problem.
I have Firefox 3.6.13.
I have tried all the recommended things, clear cache, cookies etc. and I still can't see the photos.

Tried all of the suggestions and it seems not to be due to an extension or theme.
The problem only seems to occur on blogs at the *.blogspot.com address, who are using Blogger software.
I wonder if there is some incompatibility between a recent version of Blogger and Firefox?? I have tried contacting Blogger, to see if there are problems, with no success, although I have found 2-year-old posts on the Web indicating some problems at that time -- nothing recent though and no suggested fix.
Any ideas?

Problem viewing photos on Facebook app

For some reason I am unable to view photos on SOME of my friends on the Facebook app. When you go to the 'photos of....' tab it says there is a problem connecting with Facebook. But when you go to another 'folder' on the same profile, you can view all of the pictures in that particular folder with no problems. Also in ANY folder I am having a problem looking at pictures over the number of about 24 or 25. It says "more pictures", and when you touch the highlight, it acts like it is loading them, then just stops.

I did once. I had a strange problem happen once where it would leave some of the pages blank where you could see your friends statuses and new photos, without having to go into their profile. The problem started before I did the recent itouch update, but has grown in the number of profiles afterwards. But I have not reinstalled it after I did the update I bought. Could that be it?

Problems sharing photos through IPhoto for mac

I am using iphoto9.6 on a mac mini (late 2012).
My experience is not great, I'm a disappointed with the overall speed that everything only mac happens.
I'd like to address each of my problems one at a time, I'm kind of hoping that maybe resolving one problem will solve a lot of the others. (Always the optimist!)
SO.. I want to share a photo through messages, some times it works, often I get this message, some times other things go wrong.
I know thats not much info to go on, but if anyone can tell me what additonal info is required I will do my best to provide it.
One thing I will note is it sounds like my Mac is working its socks off, pretty much all the time, I'm not really asking it to do much, just open a few web pages and view a few photos in iPhoto mainly.

Problem viewing photo in full screen in PSE10

Hi. Since I bough my new equipment for photo ( Canon 5D Mark III ) it is impossible to view full screen photo in the organizer of version 10 of Elements. All the update are done.
I can see 1 ou 2, and the it shows like a scratch picture. This is very important, because it is the only way I can choose between 2 or 3 pictures.
It is not my graphic card the problem, since in Adobe Lightroom 4, I dont have this problem.
What can I do, to correct this ?

Concerning F11 in Organizer, no that is my problem and what bring me here.
Like I first said, it begin with my new camera. Picture are 25 to 27mb and 5760x3840 ... taking very long to show in full screen and does not show at all after viewing 2 or 3 at the row.

Problems viewing photos and videos

I have just got my Z1 compact and noticed that when I open camera and select to the pictures (little box bottom right of camera gui) if the phone is in the normal upright position the selection panel (panel where you select which application you want to view the photos with) is incorrectly orientated as if the phone has been rotated like landscape mode see screen shot below but I was holding the device in the normal useage position upright so basically the picture should be rotated right by 90 degrees - is this the normal way it works?
Also there doesn't seem to be a gallery application or should I use Albums or photos as shown in the screen shot

Problems viewing photos im iPod5G when using camera dock connecter

I have a 30Gb 5G Ipod.
I'm having problems with seeing my photos after importing them using the camera connector.
The import process works quite well but when try to see my photos in the Ipod, after select the correct roll#, doesn't appear the browse option and it is impossible to view the photos....Is this a common problem?

I have the same problem. No menu item come up for me to view my downloaded photos. Did you get a reply?

Problem viewing mail transferred from one Mac to another

I recently purchased a new Mac. I used Time Machine to back up my old Mac, and then had it transfer all the information and settings from my old Mac to my new one.
One problem I've had is that when I open up Mail on my new Mac, none of the emails from my old computer can be seen. All the mailboxes and associated settings transferred over without a hitch, but none of the emails are visible. When I access the Mail folder (via Users/[My Name]/Library/Mail/V2), I can find the files of my old emails in the various subfolders; so they obviously transferred to the new computer. But I can't figure out why I can't view them.
Any advice or help on how I can solve this issue would be very much appreciated.

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
A folder window will open. Inside it there should be files with names as follows:
Envelope Index
ExternalUpdates.storedata
Move those files to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have longer names that begin as above. Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is damaged and that Mail has to quit. Click OK. Typically, the process takes a few minutes, but it may take hours if you have gigantic mailboxes. In that case, you may be able to speed things up by temporarily adding your home folder to the Privacy list in the Spotlight preference pane. Remove it when Mail has finished importing.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results.

How to view photos from iPhone on Mac???

I have an iPhone 6 and I would like to get all my pictures on my Mac. Do I have to do this through iCloud or is there another way to get my pictures onto my Mac Pro laptop??? I do have an iCloud account but just as soon not put all my photos in iPhone if I don't have to, but not sure if this is required. When I sign into iCloud I don't see anywhere to see my iPhone 6 photos??? Can anyone give me instructions on how to get my pictures from my iPhone 6 to my Mac laptop to save them there? Any and all help appreciated as I am not really techy so need easy to follow directions. Thanks so much!

To access photos on your Mac, you need to plug your iPhone into your Mac with the USB cable. Next, the iPhoto app should automatically open. If it doesn't, go into Launchpad or the Applications folder on your Mac and open iPhoto there. Once iPhoto is open, you should see your iPhone under the 'Devices' tab on the sidebar. Just click on the 'Import Photos' button and it will import the photos you have taken on your iPhone to a folder in iPhoto.

Problems viewing photos in iPhoto 11

I recently upgraded to iPhoto 11 and I am running Lion. In Events, no key photos show (all are black) although all the photos are there, because I can see tiny thumbnails when I am in the Photos screen. Also, when I double click to try to open a singular photo, I get a black screen with a triangle/exclamation point. Any answers out there for why my photos are not viewing properly? Thanks.

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Problems syncing photos with BB Link & Mac OS Yosemite

I just updated my macbook to OSX Yosemite so that I could install BB10 on it (I had Snow Leopard, so it wouldn't install, and anything below Yosemite costs money).
The latest Yosemite update has ditched iPhoto for the new Mac "Photos" app. Now when I try to sync my photos from my Q10 I get an error message saying I need iPhoto. Well, sorry, Apple has killed it. Is there a workaround, or a plan to update BB Link to work with the new Mac photo software?

Problem viewing photos in specific events

Recently, when I click on an event, it will not show me the grid with all my photos in that specific event. It will only show me one photo that is enlarged, and i cannot select various photos to copy over to another album or whatever i would like to do. In the past I have been able to view the set of photos in the event, but no more. I am not sure what happened. I checked the preferences and the box is checked for show event photos for Double Click Event -
Any help would be greatly appreciated-
