Problem when clicking links add tabs occur

Hello
i have been having some problems lately ( 3 days now ) what is weird since i haven't installed in a while.
that when i click a link a different tab opens and redirects to a add website.
i also see when i get a pop up its first a different website link that the it redirects to but then in less than 2 millisec it changes to a different add.

i've been reading the forums for the problem and it seems im infected with one of a malware but i believe its a new generation cause i'm unable to find it and delete it

You don't have any known kind of adware. You do have something called "soluto" that I've never seen before. I'm not sure what it is.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Running the latest stable version of Firefox, however, it has been freezing repeatedly almost every time I click a link or go to another tab since the previous stable version, which I thought the new release would fix.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

Cannot access in browser PDF files unless blank box is closed and then website address is clicked on again in browser address bar and page reloaded.
Uninstalled Acrobat 9, reinstalled, still same problem.

Yes I can it only happens in the browser..
I reinstalled Windows on my machine and started over a couple of weeks ago.
When my desktop started up I didn’t have Acrobat installed and clicked on a pdf file and the open with xxx dialogue box came open.
I chose a different program as Acrobat wasn’t installed yet so it associated pdf files with another program.
Later Installed Acrobat and couldn’t associate the pdf file with acrobat so I went into Folder Options and manually associated PDF files with Acrobat.
Ever since then I get the error when something is downloaded and opened in the browser.
Works fine everywhere else and when I cancel the blank error, highlight the web address and press enter to reload it works 90% of the time.
Not sure what to do..

Error message when clicking link in Email

Hi, for the past day or two I have had a problem with clicking links in emails sent to me - mainly, I think, when confirming that I have signed up to a newsletter or forum, and needing to confirm my email address. This happens in Windows Mail, though I am sure I have been able to do it ok in the past. (I also use Internet Explorer 8 and can activate the links ok if I open the email in BT Yahoo Mail). So guess it is something to do with Windows Mail. The error message just says 'Application Not Found'..... can anyone help me get this sorted please? Thanks in advance!
NOTE: Have found the answer to this elsewhere. For anyone who needs to know, it is: Go to START button, select DEFAULT Programmes > Set Program Access and Computer Defaults. Make sure Microsoft (Windows Mail) is selected.

I randomly started getting this problem and fixed it by doing the following:
# Close both the Firefox and Outlook (2010) programs. Make sure the processes have exited.
# In Control Panel, go to "Default Programs".
# Go to "Set default programs" and set Firefox as default.
# Go back and then to "Set program access and computer defaults" and set Firefox and Outlook as your default browser and email program respectively.
# Restart Firefox and Outlook at the problem should hopefully be fixed.

Normalising channels when clicked on a tab

I am trying to normalise any maximised channels when clicked on a tab. The tab url passes 'JSPTabContainer.setSelected=tabName' with the request object, but I cannot see this property inside the getContent method on JSPTabContainerProvider.
I am using portal 6.2

Mostly all the pages in the performance management are customized. But after customization also it was worked fine.
But suddenly this error has come, we can't able to find out this.
if any one faced this kind of error means please help in this.

I checked the job REQU_411S6XD8BWPU6FDQ9BJL30T6D on EBP system with SM37, but it doesn't exist there. I ran RSA3 without any problem.

What is wrong when clicking on the "+" tab does not create a new tab?

Suddenly, the "+" tab, when clicked on, does nothing. Right-clicking on the "+" and choosing "new tab" fails to function. All 5 boxes under Tools/Options/Tabs are enabled. What do I need to do to re-enable the new tab function?

That can a problem with the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

PerformancePoint Designer is not loading when clicking on "Add new item" from PerformancePoint Content List

Hello,
I am using Internet Explorer 9 to create a new item by launching Performance Point Dashboard Designer from browser.
When i click on "Add new item", an Iframe will open showing dashboard design redirect which keep loading for couple of minutes and the designer never opens.
Yes, there are working workarounds like opening these links in other tab or opening dashboard designer directly or by clicking on "Run Dashboard Designer" from BI Center homepage.
However, Can someone please help me how to get designer opened when "Add new item" has been clicked from PerformancePoint Content List from browser?

An Update :
I found this is due to the browser limitation.
I have downgraded my Internet Explorer Browser to IE 8 and did the following changes in my browser settings.
Tools --> Internet Options --> Navigate to Security Tab --> Click on Custom Level Button --> Under Download --> Select "Enable" radio box for Automatic Prompting for File Downloads.
Sadly, I cannot ask users to downgrade their browser to IE 8 because MS already stopped support for this browser and there are no other solution for this except going by workarounds.
This clearly says why people are moving away from PerformancePoint Services in SharePoint.

Open page in new window when click on HELP TAB

Hi
I have a number of tabs which work on my pages. My very last Tab is a Help Tab.
What I'm trying to achieve is that when a person clicks on the Help tab, the page should open in a new window.
The rest of the tabs should function normally, ie just switch pages in the same window.

i have tried it again and still the new page when clicked on the link opens in the same window
I am using a link item which has a fire action set to yes
In the fire action i am calling a new page using
pageContext.setForwardURL

500 Internal Server Error when clicked on Add/Remove Button

Hi,
When i Goto System Management -> Administration -> Mobile Infrastructure -> Device Maintenance -> here search for the device id or just click on the search -> scroll down to find 'Mobile Components' tab -> click on Add/Remove button
The error iam getting is
500 Internal Server Error
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.sap.ip.mi.admin.wd.device.DeviceMaintenance.supplyUserList1(DeviceMaintenance.java:794)
at com.sap.ip.mi.admin.wd.device.wdp.InternalDeviceMaintenance.supplyUserList1(InternalDeviceMaintenance.java:562)

Itune force shutdown when click on app tab.

After connecting iphone 4 on to my computer it works perfectly fine until I click on app tab.
When I click on app tab (so I can transfer files over to computer) itune shuts down every single time.
and I have tried it on 3 different computers (window 8, window 7, window xp) and same thing happens so I dont think it's the computer problem?
I'm not sure why it's doing this all of the sudden. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

It sounds like your iTunes applications are quitting when you click the App tab in iTunes after selecting the device on mulitple computers.
I want to recommend starting by quitting all of the open apps on the phone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

When you have done that, restart the phone and then try the App tab again.

Auto collapse a mobile accordion menu when clicking links to anchors on the same page

I'm building a mobile site, with the accordion widget containing the a menu widget, pinned to the top (i added custom css to pin it to the top).
its a single page site, so all the links are to anchors in the same page.
how can I make the accordion close when clicking the links in the menu?

ORA-06502 error when clicked on Lines tab in Oracle Service Contracts

When i query for some contracts and click on Lines Tab,i get ORA-06502 error.
This is not happenning with all contracts.My ICX: Numeric Characters profile is set to 10.000,00 but the user who created the contracts which were showing error message has ICX: Numeric Characters profile set to 10,000.00.
If i change my profile option to this users profile option,then i am not getting error in these contracts but getting error when trying to view the contracts which were created by other users who's ICX: Numeric Characters profile is different from mine.
Plz let me know how can i resolve this issue.

Change window size when clicking link?

I recently converted a WinHelp project in RH5 that used
secondary windows and I'm trying to stick with one window in
HTMLHelp (and still learning a bit).
In some parts of our app, pressing F1 opens a small window
(not a popup) with a short description of a feature. There's a link
at the bottom of the topic that will open a longer overview
description. When clicking the link, I'd like to use the same
window, but resize (make it wider) it to accomodate the bigger
topic. In other words, I want the window to be narrow initially (so
I don't cover the app) but change size when the link is clicked, so
I can show the longer text without scrolling multiple pages.
Do you folks do anything like this?

You could always use the ResizeTo function in your larger
topic, something like this:
<body onLoad="window.resizeTo(400, 500);">
Or, something like that....
