Problem when defining as Media Placeholder

Hi,
I 'm using Keynote 6.5.3 (latest version) on a mid-2011 iMac on Yosemite 10.10.3
I am creating a new Master slide, where I have various elements on top of a photo that I want to "Define as a Media Placeholder" so, the user should be able to change the background photo.
As long as I am editing the Master slide everything looks correct.
When I go on and create a new slide based on this Master slide, the photo somehow gets arranged on top of everything and hides them!
Apparently this is a bug but has anyone managed to figure a way around this?

Problem when defining a web service

Hello,
I have defined several BAPI that I am calling from an external application by exopsing those BAPI using the SOAP adaptor.
All goes well for all of them except one.
For the one having problems the Integrantion engine is routing that call to different webservice than the one I expect it to do it,
these are some of the paramenters I use when defining the web service in the Integration Builder:
Interface name: MI_BAPI_PPMSRVAPS_GETLIST
Communitcation chanel: CC_SOAP_BAPI_PPMSRVAPS_GETLIST
Address: http://sapxi:50000/xisoapadapter/messageservlet?channel=:BS_WEBSERVICE_GREYCON:CC_SOAP_BAPI_PPMSRVAPS_GETLIST
but instead when I test the generated wsdl using soapUI: the integration engine returns this error:
Canceled with Errors 02.06.2010 15:04:22 02.06.2010 15:04:23 [websericename] [namespace]MI_BAPI_PDSSRVAPS_GETLIST
My guess is that at some point I defined wrong the web service but I have no way to redefine it or revert how it was defined.
I redefined the webservice with correct parameters, but there is no change in behaviour.
I checked server address and port (it is the exact same of the other BAPIs that work)
Where can I see all defined web services when they are defined via the Integration builder define web service option?
How to delete a webservice published this way?
Any advise?

Description: The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address. This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable.
Possible Tips:- for HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK 404
u2022 404 is an HTTP response code that indicates that the resource in question couldn't be found. Usually this is due to an incorrect URL, so it is better to cross check all URLs. Check pipeline URL in the SLD in the business system of the Integration Server For this go to SLD->Business System-><yourIntegrtaion Server>->Pipeline URL: It should be like this http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry Where host is the host name of the Integration Server and port is the HTTP(8xxx) port. To verify this in Integration Server you can do like this. Go to SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration->Choose Edit from Menu -> Change Global Configuration Data to switch to change mode. Then select System Landscape - Load Configuration. (This is not required always)
u2022 Check that the port really is the ICM HTTP Port and not the J2EE port i.e SMICM then menu GOTO --> SERVICES and check the port number for HTTP. It should be HTTP port

Problem when defining correlation with subsequent Async Receive Step.

Hi, all:
We have defined a BMP process, like below:
Receive (Start Process) --> Sync Send --> Sync Send --- Async Send
Now we need to have additional steps added into the process: Async Receive.
Now we have problem defining the correlation:
   Since this Async step is not the start of the process, we have to use correlation, if we leave it blank, a red question mark stays, and we can not active BPM.
   When we define the correlation, we just expect one message type to be received from a Async system.
   In the correlation condition editor window, we would like to choose "Interface Variable" and assign value to the container element that reference the asbtract interface.
   however, when we selection optiontb "Interface Variable", there is value "interface" already fill up, we can not select container element from the elements list.
Any one has such experience ?

I think you are facing problem with corrrelation. Follow this procedure to define correlation : -
1. Switch from Container window to Correlation List, here define a correlation variable.
2. Now switch from Graphical Editor to Correlation Editor.
3. There in Correlation Name choose your Correlation variable.
4. In the Correlation Container define a variable.
5. In Involved Message window choose your message interfaces that are used to correlate. Here you should have message interface of your second receive step with another message interface.
6. Now in correlation editor's Properties window assign field of your involved message interface to the variable that you have defined in 4th step.
7. Now switch to Graphical Editor of you BPM. And Activate your correlation in First receive step and Use Correlation it in subsequent receive step.
This is the whole procedure to define a correlation and use it.
If you need further clarification plz revert.

Problem when define Value range for data element

When I define a new data element in ABAP Dictionary, for example, ZDATA_ELEMENT_TEST.
I use domain ZDOMAIN_TEST.
(Data type is DEC, the length is 10, and decimals is 2 with sign.)
Now, I want to restrict that, user can ONLY input the value from 10 to 100.
From ABAP course and the Internet, I switch to "Value Range" tab, and define 10 for Lower Limit, 100 for Upper Limit in Intervals section.
And write the simple program.
PARAMETERS test TYPE ZDATA_ELEMENT_TEST.
WRITE: test.
And run it.
Line: -
But, there is a problem.
When I input 200 for test, the program still run and display 200 to screen without any error report or notification. The ABAP runtime system doesn't check the input value.
I want to config for the domain that can satisfies, if the user input the wrong value (e.g: 200 in the previous case), the program will auto raise the error report, or exception, or sth like that.
Any help is welcome.

Try to attach key word VALUE CHECK to your PARAMETER statement.
I.e:
PARAMETERS test TYPE ZDATA_ELEMENT_TEST VALUE CHECK.
Note: The addition VALUE CHECK cannot be used together with the additions AS CHECKBOX, RADIOBUTTON, or NO-DISPLAY.

Problem when saving flash media live encoder CS5 output

I have a problem with flash media live encoder CS5 that when I record a stream and save it to selected folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\applications\vod\media\CHAT.flv)
I can se the file from flash media live encoder CS5 but when I try to stream it using flash professional CS5 and run it using FLVPlayBack through rtmp://localhost/vod/CHAT it will tell me connection error or file not exist. I check the folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\applications\vod\media) but the file is not there but when I brows the folder using flash media live encoder CS5 I can see the file.
please advice me how to solve this problem.

CS3 exporting drop outs and red screen flashes when exporting via Media Encoder

I have been using Premiere Pro CS3 for a long time on my dual core PC with no issues. Suddenly, I am now getting a major issue i MUST get sorted asap for a client is waiting for the final video.
It is a HDV (1080i, 25fps) project/timeline. An 8 minute video has been put together in this and every time I try to export as either MPEG2 (Blu Ray) or WMV, I am getting pixelation in certain places usually around certain cuts, or horrible red blocky pixels filling up the screen for a second or two. They seem to come always at the same point. They don't happen when i render the timeline or show up when playing the edit itself in the timeline - just when i playback the exported video in premiere or in Windows Media Player.
To try a workaround I exported the whole video as high quality MPEG2 (blu ray - 30mbps), which I brought into a new sequence, then I exported small sections where this problem was happening as Uncompressed Microsoft AVI and called them "patch 1", "patch 2" etc. and brought them back in and overlayed over where the problems were occuring. The short Uncompressed AVI patches seem to have exported with no glitches, so theoretically I thought I had a clean good timeline in my new sequence made up of the MPEG 2 video overlayed in the dodgy places with uncompressed AVI "patches". However, trying to export a new MPEG 2 master from this has created the same problems, in the same places!!! Still drop outs and still those horrid red flashes filling the screen. Not always as bad, and some places where there were problems are ok, but I am still left with most of the problems still there.
I am now trying to export the whole video as an AVI uncompessed but dont know if this will work and will take a very long time.
I do have Saphire plugins, but they are not being used in this new sequence so therefore could that be a possible problem? I thought perhaps it was the brightness/contrast filter etc so removed that from some of the problem areas, and it helped on some of them, but not on others, so not sure its anything to do with my plug in or filters.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This topic is about a year old, but I thought I would reply because I just experienced this problem very recently and stumbled upon an easy solution.
Problem: When using Adobe Media Encoder to create an HD or .m2v video file, a bright red screen will flash followed by a mashup of red blocks/pixels somewhere within the file you've just encoded. This phenomenon lasts for exactly 10 frames before clearing up. Most likely, you won't see this problem until you import the encoded file into Adobe Encore. It shows up on the timeline, the preview monitor and the DVD itself. It occurs on edits that the system reads as being corrupt or when a flash bulb goes off from a still camera. Both instances make the encoding process go haywire.
Solution: Encode your HD or .m2v file with CBR (1-pass) bitrate encoding rather than VBR (2-pass). Don't worry about losing any quality in your video or creating unnecessarily large file sizes with your new renders. I guarantee you won't see much of a difference, if any. I can't explain why this solution works. It just does.

Essentially, the bare issue is that you have a 500GB hard drive with only 10GB free. That is not sufficient to run the system properly. The two options you have are to move/remove files to another location, or to install a larger hard drive (eg 2TB). Drive space has nothing to do with SMC firmware, and usually large media files are to blame.
My first recommendation is this: download and run the free OmniDiskSweeper. This will identify the exact size of all your folders - you can drill down into the subfolders and figure out where your largest culprits are. For example, you might find that your Pictures folder contains both an iPhoto Library and copies that you've brought in from a camera but are outside the iPhoto Library structure. Or perhaps you have a lot of purchased video content in iTunes.
If you find files that you KNOW you do not need, you can delete them. Don't delete them just because you have a backup, since if the backup fails, you will lose all your copies.
Don't worry about "cleaners" for now - they don't save much space and can actually cause problems. Deal with the large file situation first and see how you get on.
Let us know what you find out, and if you manage to get your space back.

This issue appears where there are any inconsistencies in your catalog (generally for video files). This issue may be due to offline files, missing files, video scenes. The recommendation here would be to fix these inconsistencies and try again. If that doesn't solve the issue, please follow steps mentioned in email by me.

Problem when streaming with the CLI flash media encoder 2.5

I have a problem when streaming with Flash Media Encoder 2.5. When I run the GUI, everything works, but when I use the commandline with the same profile I have created using the GUI, it says it can't connect to the server.
I have to use this version of the encoder, because the other is not working with the server, and I have to create a program to remotely control the flash media encoder, so I have to use the CLI. What can i do to go over this problem?

There is no authentication needed. I can't use Flash Live Media Encoder 3 because it is not supported by the people which manages the server i have to connect to.
In fact, I don't know why they dont support it, but that is the way it is.
Through the GUI, i connect directly and without problems, without user/pass.

How can I define a hexagon as a media placeholder in Keynote '09?

If I choose a polygon (and changing the sides to make a hexagon), the only option given to me is to make this a 'text' placeholder -- how can I make the hexagon shape a media placeholder?
I tried dragging a photo into a slide, then masking to a polygon shape, but I would prefer hexagon shape. Any thoughts?

Making a circular media placeholder

HI there,
Ive been researching and messing about all day trying to do this but with no luck. I want a circular media placeholder so that when I drag a video onto it, it will show as a circle. Failing that I want to be able to add a circular mask to it so that it appears as a circle.
I've tried various things including trying to mask a video clip (can't options are greyed out) and creating a master slide with a circle shape and then trying to define it as a media placeholder (again, can't the only option given is for a text placeholder).
So, if anyone has any ideas of how I can achieve this I'd be very greatful. I should add that the reason I want to do this is to create an opening animated title sequence (think MGM with the lion) that I can then import into Imovie - I've done this already with a square shaped vid and animations but I want it as a circle!

Welcome to the discussions, davetems.
The core of the solution to the problem is to place the video behind a shape that fills the entire slide with a round hole in the middle. There are a few different ways to do this. The shape idea is a good one, but since you can't make a round media placeholder, you'll have to turn the circle inside out. It's kinda hard to do, but you'll learn some tricks along the way that you could use for other things.
1) Create a large circle (half the height of the slide)
2) Rotate it 45 degrees
3) Format -> Shape -> Reset Text and Object Handles
4) Format -> Shape -> Make Editable
You'll see a red dot at the top, both sides, and the bottom.
5) Zoom in to the bottom dot 400%
6) Hold down the "Option" key and move your cursor just to the left of the bottom dot until it turns into an pen tip with a plus sign.
7) Get as close to the bottom point as possible and click.
8) Click the left arrow key 5 times to move the point to the left.
9) Use the same "Option-Click" method to create a point in between and use the arrow keys to move it down and to the left.
10) Create another new point on the right leg of the "V" that was created by pulling out that second point, and move it down and to the right. (It should look kinda like the tied end of a balloon). Be sure to double-click the points so that they become angles instead of curves, they're easier to work with that way.
11) At this point, if the shape has an outline, change the Stroke to "None" in the inspector, click the first point you created, and drag it until it snaps over the point that was the original bottom point.
Now, you've got all you need to turn it inside out!
Zoom back out.. then
12) Take those two points and drag the left one up and to the left side of the slide, and drag the right one up and to the right side of the slide. You'll see where they cross the circle, the fill changes to white, and the "outside" changes to the fill color.
13) Create two more points that are on the outside edges of the lines you just drug up, and extend those to the bottom left and bottom right corners, respectively.
14) Finally, Create two more points that border the remaining background area at the bottom and move them downward, and inward until they snap in place aligned with the bottom center of the circle, and the points you drug to the the bottom left and right corners.
You should now be able to put a movie on the slide, paste this shape in front of it, then resize it. Just make sure that the mask around it goes all the way to the edges of the slide (or matches the background color) and you're good.

Removing media placeholder in a podcast

Whilst using iWeb, it has a media placeholder for podcast entries. This is great for small podcasts, but I am currently hosting a podcast where the episodes are around 70-90mb in size. Is there any way to either stop iWeb from displaying the media placeholder, or to stop the podcast entry from playing immediately?
Ideally, I'd like to remove the placeholder so users have the choice of either subscribing or just downloading the episode

I hope someone can answer Jads question because I have a related problem that would be fixed if the media frame can be removed. In Safari, my podcast episode loads fine, but in Firefox, some of the page text loads, then the media frame apparently downloads the podcast episode (30 megabytes) and many minutes later (when the media frame says the podcast is all read in, then the rest of the page text loads. Is there anyway to tell Firefox to load the page elements before loading the podcast? I've tried moving elements "to the front" and "to the back" without success.
Basically: Safari keeps loading the rest of the webpage while it loads the podcast into the frame (good). Firefox interrupts loading page text in order to load the podcast into the frame (bad for a big podcast).

AV sync problems when rendering Quicktime in PE 8

I have a simple problem when rendering to Quicktime format fromPremere Elements 8: The AV sync goes out of whack.
I have tried rendering:
(a). To MPEG - output is fine.
(b). To WMV - output is fine.
(c). MOV - av sync errors
I am assembling about five clips. The first clip plays fine. The AV sync problems starts at the second clip - the audio is a good 3 seconds or so ahead of the video.
Everything is fine in the editing window.
I am running in Windows 7. To make sure it is not the player, I have played the quicktime output in Windows Media and itunes and the same problem is in both.
Has anyone seen this issue?

Sorry for the confusion. It a sensible suggestion to identify the input formats and output formats and I would most appreciate your inputs to this issue because I admit that I am really struggling here to get a workflow going.
Input formats:
1. MJPEG 1280x720P at 24 frames per second (from a Panasonic Lumix Camera)
2. WMV 1280x720P at 24 frames per second from output of other programs (which only support wmv output at High def output)
3. MPEG2 1280x720P at 24 frames per second (and sometimes 25 frames per second) from other sources
Target output formats are:
1. Blu-Ray
2. MP4 container format @ 1280x720P for playing on my Apple TV
3. DVD (ordinary plain PAL DVD at 720x576P at 25 frames per second)
My goal is have Pre Elements 8 Project settings in High Def and then to simply target all three outputs from one project so that I do not have to redo all of the projects with different project settings.
Workflow is in two stages:
Step 1 is to create one project for each Chapter and save to disk: The inputs are from all three input formats that I identified above (High Def - MJPEG, WMV, and MPEG2). I would like to edit, mix the audio, and then save each chapter to disk. The format in which I save this is preferably some kind of high def format that can be edited easily at a later time.
Step 2 is to create the Project that is used to assemble each chapter for final output: This is the project where I put in Chapter marks, create menus, etc. The target outputs from this chapter are Blu Ray (high def), AppleTV (high def), and PAL DVD (Standard def).
In all cases, I set up my Project Settings as HDV-AVI for internal rendering because all inputs are high def and most target outputs are high def.
Issues that I am dealing with:
1. I cannot figure out the best export format to go from Step 1 to Step 2. HDV-AVI doesn't seem to be available as an export format. Basically, I am looking for an export format that puts the least strain on resources when they are read in for Step 2 and retains the highest quality.
2. Most of my inputs are 24 frames per second but the internal rendering for Pre Elements 8 seems to be 25 frames per second. Frame rate conversion can be quite tricky and can put significant strain on resources, but it is not clear if this is straining Pre Elements 8 or not. It does seem to be. I am happy to convert my files into a format that puts the least strain on Pre Elements 8 internal rendering and yet produces the best output.
Note: If you ask - why do I do this in two steps? It is because I am always putting a strain on system resources when operating in high def. Unless I am careful, I get a message that Pre Element is "low on resources" followed by a crash shortly thereafter. I have Win7 32 bit, 4 GB RAM, no other programs running, all drivers updated with the most recent version (yes - even the NVIDIA driver) so there really isn't anything else that I can do in this area.
So I am looking for suggestions in the following areas:
1. An alternative workflow that produces the three high def outputs with the three high def inputs defined above that doesn't cause Pre Elements to continually go low on resources and crash.
OR
2. A recommendation for a high def format that puts minimal strain on Pre Element resources?

I have the following problem when display BW Report as iView: The report data itself is displayed perfectly but to display the icons (like DrillDown arrows, Hierarhy level open arrows) the Windows login message "Connect to <my BW server.com>:8000" appears and I have to enter BW user name and password explicitly. The system for BW is defined, the user is mapped, UIDPW method is used. Again, the report data itself is displayed, the problem is only with icons. I can see that the path to icons is like:

OS is window10, Metro APP is Xbox or MultiMedia 8; any video format will occur error only by following steps:
a. Put Audio / Media / Photo files into USB thumb disk or Micro SD card.
b. Connect USB thumb disk / Micro SD Card to Platform.
c. Open 'File Explorer', click USB thumb disk.
d. Open audio file with metro app: Music. / Open Media file with metro app: Video./Open Photo file with metro app.
