Problem when installing apps using Creative Cloud

I just downloaded the apps on my second computer and Im forced to go into trial mode in order to use the apps (like PS, AI, ID etc. ) even though I have a paid CC mebership. It's like it does not recognize that Im logged in already.
I guess I can use the app until the trial period runs out, but what happens then?

Please check the host file and try to license again.
Windows
Choose Start > Run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc, and then press Enter. 
Right-click the hosts file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file. 
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK. 
Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries. 
Save and close the file.
  Mac OS
Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.
In a Finder window, choose Go > Go To Folder.
Type /etc.
Select the hosts file and open it.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
Save and close the file.

    [ Mac 10.9.3 / Indesign CC update fail / Premiere update fail / Adobe Media Encoder 7.2.2 update fail ]
    Adobe Media Encoder was the problem for me. There's no separate uninstaller for AME. My ID CC and Premiere couldn't be updated (for the AME7.2.2 update as the only change). MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework seemed to be the factor.
    I uninstalled Premiere (only), after having manually removed MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework from inside AME. After boot I installed it again and voilà, both (ID & Premiere) updates went trough fine. The MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework was on place inside AME too.

  • Installation problem when loading Photoshop from Creative cloud.  PS runs for about 5-9 seconds then it crashes with a standard windows app going down message

    I have installed PS from the cloud twice now.  It loaded without any errors but when I try to run it, it comes up fine with all the dialogs and everything but after 5 seconds it tells me the app is closing down without giving any error message.

    I tried loading as admin and this did not work.  I have added two images that show the error message and my computer configuration.  I am running Norton Antivirus, could this be the problem?
    I am running two other editing programs Flexi and Adobe Illustrator, other than that it is a new system running standard programs.

    I got it after getting blank dialog boxes, ie: when you save or open a file the box would be blank, missing the UI. I uninstalled it, restarted, then re-installed from CC. I also took out a third party Suitcase Fusion Panel, that let's you access fonts directly from photoshop without havong to go back to Suitcase app. I saw no real need for it. And Photoshop message said check and possibly remove any third party software.
    So far, so good :-) Brian.

    I would suggest you try and update to the latest Ovi Store, now called Nokia Store.
    With your phone's browser go to the following address:
    http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3
    you should then get the option to install the latest Nokia Store client, and this should include new QT files. Corrupt QT files are usually the problem when installations from the Nokia/Ovi Store fails.

    I have successfully downloaded the creative cloud to my desktop, however I am unable to download any of the apps, such as photoshop, lightroom, etc. They begin to install but around the 40% mark they say extracting then nothing else happens. I have waited for hours and it stays on the extracting.
