Problem when reverse GR document

hai gurus,
today my user complaint cannot reverse GR that contain 1 lines item that contain asset.
The way that their create the asset is to create one asset number form 3 item asset than after the GR they create another asset number for the 3 items.
when admin people want to reverse, the system give error log;
Posting transaction is not posible (value date not allowed)
Diagnosis
A retirement was already posted on the asset 000004020610 000 on 20080721. Based on the value date 20080721 of the transaction, this transaction sholud have been included in teh calculation of values for the retirement.
Procedure
Check the value date of the transaction

You are trying to reverse a doucment whci contains the Account assignment Asset, Where as in the Systme the Asset is already retired & no further postings are possible on to the asset.
You need to make the asset active , then reverse the Document

Most scan apps have a setting whereas, your scan(s) can go directly to your desktop. No need to "hunt" for scanned docs.

Problem when dispalying Sales document header text.

Hi All,
I am facing problem when displaying header text of Sales document. my problem is that
when we got to VA02 -> give sales document number press enter
once afer going inside that sales document -> Goto Header text . In text tab, on left hand side we can find many text for whch corresponding text has written on Right hand side Text area.
i want that text to be print on script.
i tried even by pressing F1 but i could not find where that text stores in database.
can any one please explain it how to dispaly the text that is written manually in text area on Script.

Hi,
You must call function module 'READ_TEXT' with the following parameters:
ID = The technical text id number (see table TTXID for OBJECT = 'VBBK' for a list of valid values)
LANGUAGE = your local language
NAME = sales document number (all 10 digits with any leading zeros)
OBJECT = 'VBBK'
You will need to call the function module once per text type id (the list on the left hand side in VA02, header texts screen). The text from the right hand side will be in an internal table LINES after you call the 'READ_TEXT' function module.
If you just want to print directly from VA02, then choose the details button which takes you to another screen with Print functionality.

Filename problems when checking out documents

Hi,Client machines are using Windows NT4 SP6 and Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.1106CO. Environment is Plumtree 4.5 SP1, Collab Server 2.02.We have an issue whereby when users check out documents with periods in the filename, the default filename for the downloaded file is different from the original.Eg. If a document named test 0.1.docis uploaded, when this file is checked out, Internet Explorer will try and save it at test (0)0.1.doc. This means that users have to either manually change the filename in the Save As dialog box, or rename the file to it's correct name before checking it back in.Is this an issue Plumtree is aware of, and is there a workaround or fix?Thanks.Mun

Further investigation into this problem shows it does not occur when downloading using a straight A link. Eg. Internet Explorer does not change the filename if excutable 0.1.exe is used; only when downloading through Plumtree (checking out files).This is Plumtree Collaboration Server core functionality.Can anyone from Plumtree shed any light on this?Cheers,Mun

Display problems when adding a document

Hi,
one of our customers is facing a strange problem. He runs SBO 8.8 PL18 on Windows Server 2008 R2, and the users work in SBO through Terminal Server. I will do my best to explain what happens.
When one adds a manual journal entry, the screen flickers the same number of times there are rows. Let me explain the flickering. Suppose you have 10 rows. When you click Update, the table that displays the rows is kind of refresh or repainted 10 times, then fields are empty ready for a new journal entry. The best way I can describe what one can see is that the table is rolled down as many times as there are rows. Unfortunately I have not been able to record the flickering.
This take some times, and users fell eyes fatigue because of the flickering. I have seen it on my own computer, so this problem does not relate to the computer used to work with SBO. I am told that it happens as well in A/P Invoices.
The only hint I have is that display problem does not takes place with a TS established on Server 2003.
Any hint at what this can be, has someone else seen this ?

If you are using Add-on then it will happed because programmer set keyword last focus in which cell and i think your programmer have code for some arthritic operation on grid then it will happen.
So discuss your programmer it will solve issue or give proper explanation for same.
It will defiantly through add-on .
for tesing pupose stop the add-on then try make new document.

Error when reverse delivery document

Hi Gurus
Basically we are pipe coating company (Service based)
We are using serial number management for pipes .GRN for pipe has been done and serial number assigned to it.
While doing dispatch the one serial number has been taken by two different delivery doc.(which we have seen from them serial number history)
For Some reason we cancelled all the delivery for the sales order in vl09.
Since the one delivery doc is reversed the serial number is taken by that document.
When we do for other delivery document we are not able to reverse we are getting the following error,
System status ESTO is active (EQU 62784)
Message no. BS013
Diagnosis
Object EQU 62784 has system status ESTO (In the warehouse). According to this status, transaction 'Goods receipts' is not allowed.

Budget Exceed Problem while Reversing CC Document

Good Morning,
While Reversing a cross company code document through FBU8,
one of the document (of Company Co. A) is reversed
while other document (of Company Co. B) did not because budget is not available in Company Code B.
An Error Message should prompt before Reversing Cross Company Code so none of the document can be reversed. Is there any way to configure such functionality?

Yes, the note is valid since 4.7.
Did you try to change the Customizable message F5 876 "You did not select all the docs belonging to the cross-co.code transact." ? If you set in transaction code SE91 this message as an error message you will ensure that cross-company code transactions are always reversed completely. Please check in SE91 if you have this message as an warning or error.
I continued my research and I found the note 904549, did you check this note already? It is valid to package 46C SAPKH46C52. If your package is lower than this, this note can help you.
Since I do not know your current package, please check also the following notes valid to 4.6C:
413469 - FBU8: Reversal incomplete despite successful test run
551883 - Reversal across business transaction: not all doc.reversed

Problems when deleting a document with markup

Hi, I have a document in UCM that have for example three markups. When I delete the document, the system doesn't delete the markup associate with it. I checked in the trace file of UCM and here what I get. Any ideas!

No way around it. Even if the images are linked, AI embeds previews of them, especially when they are processed in some way and affect appearance and a simple clipping mask qualifies for that just as much as pixel-based effects, opacity blending and what have you.

Printing problems when using automatic document feeder (HP Photosmart 309C)

When I print using the normal paper trays, everything comes out fine. However, when I feed a document through the automatic document feeder, it comes out with four vertical lines running down the page. I have tried cleaning the rollers, but that has not worked. I see that this post was made in June of 2010, but there was no reply. I found the solution elsewhere:
Lift the scanner lid. You will see the main glass and a small glass about the width of a ruler. There are a couple of dots of debris on that small glass. Line up the lines to find them and clean with a bit of glass cleaner on a rag or napkin. The reason a small dot makes a line is the paper passes by the scanner with adf rather than the scanner passing by the paper on flatbed scans.

Hi,
for any FM of type (*SINGLE_READ ) you have to pass all the primary keys of the table.
And you can also find the same in the documentation of the FM.

Problems when saving a document

Hi there,
this is the first trouble I have as I've bought my first Mac 20 days ago!
Now, I open a .doc file with Pages (let's imagine it's located in Documents>Folder1>Folder2>Folder3), I modify it, then I want to save the changes. So I click on "Save" but it opens a window showing the desktop, instead of the folder where the documents it's located.
Is there any way to show the correct folder without looking for it each time?

You are saving a "new" document, because Pages wants to save in its native format. It also suggest to save or export in the last folder you save a Pages document. Pages, like many apps on Mac, doesn't keep track from which folder the documents comes but where the app last save a doc. Nor doesn't it remember where to

Document Problems when upgrading B1 from 2004 to 2005

When upgrading from B1 2004 to b1 2005 any documents over 2 pages cause B1 to crash - anyone found the same problem or a solution.

When you say it crashes, does it just close and no error. i've came across that problem when making complex documents. If you have made your document as an A4 document, check what the default printer is? Go to file->page setup .You'll see the printer it will print with and it's page size (letter,A4,etc). Make sure that is the same as the one you have set in the pld in the document.

Reversing a document with MR8M diff value in GR/IR

When reversing a document with MR8M, differrent amount is posted to GR/IR account and PPV account
Actual Transaction
Vendor 123 = 100
GR/IR account = -80
PPV account = -20
After Reversal:
Vendor 123 = -100
GR/IR account = 78
PPV account = 22
Please let me know what could be the reason?
