Problem when saving the Data basis for the Consolidation

Hi Gurus,
I am having 2 problems.
1) When i try to execute the UCWB transaction . It gives an information message
" Data basis DB needs to be generated (after upgrade) . I am following the procedure given in that "<b>Run maintenance of data basis DB in display mode. Go to the "Data Streams" tab page. Choose the "Generate" button.
If changes to Customizing settings are permitted in the current system or client, as an alternative you can maintain the data basis in change mode and save. In the case of systems supplied with Customizing transports, as an alternative you can generate the data basis in the source system and then transport it again.</b>
Even after doing that procedure when i again execute the UCWB. it give me the same message.
2) when is try to save data basis for the consolidation . it give me this error message.
"Field 0HC_ATCCODE: This compound differs from that of basic field 0HC_MEDCTG"
I have checked the referenced Info objects . Checked the compound info objects. Activated them again. They dont differ in any way. but still i get this problem.
Please help me out. If someone has come across this error and solved. Please help me.

Hi satish,
I constantly receive the message like your #2 saying that it was a critical change in X infoobject. It's just a warning and I found several OSS notes saying that this message is not correct. Just ignore it.
In case of your Q #1. The data basis might be generated in two ways: by pressing Save icon and by clicking the Generate icon (the system refers just to this very option) and then - Save. The last way is used in Productive environment. Try it.

Error opening data base for the library for Aperture

Hello,
I have been using Aperture all day and for some reason am now getting this error message when trying to open it again.
Te was an error opening the data base for the library "users/*******/pictures/aperture3triallibrary.aplibrary
Has this happened for anyone else?

When I hold down ⌘⌥ firmly, at the same time, and with these keys held down double click the Aperture library that I want to repair, I get this panel:
Then, when I select "Repair" Aperture will show a progress bar and the Dock icon will stay highlighted.
When it is finished, the Aperture window will open.
When I select repair, it seems as though it doesn't run. I don't get a dialog box to confirm it's happening and on the dock the little light under the Aperture icon isn't lit, which seems it is'nt open or running.
After you select "Repair", does the panel close and then nothing? Or does the panel not react?
I still don't see fully, what is going on on your mac.
But it is a good sign, that you can create a new library. That suggests, that Aperture is running correctly on your mac, and "only" your old library has a problem. Try to test the new library - import a few images and try to adjust them.
Once you are convinced, that the new library is working well, you have three options.
Try "Rebuild" instead of "Repair".
Or try to import your old library into the new library (Aperture's main menu bar > File >Import > Library) - that is another approach to rebuilsd the library.
Or restore from backup. To restore from Time Machine, open a Finder Window showing your Aperture library, and then enter Time Machine. Go back in time to the most recent date that has a working Aperture library and select "Restore". If you have enough space on your disk, restore to a different folder and don't overwrite your current library.

You’re running an outdated copy of Safari on your Desktop. That won’t work.

How to provide the data directly for the report using web service

I'm trying to execute a report from the webservice API (using BIP version 10.1.3.4) and want to provide the report with a pre-fetched data set. According to the Dev-Guide, I should use element /ReportRequest/reportData for this, but I can't find a proper example illustrating this use case. The problem is that I don't know how to enter my data set into the element. My data set is xml (text) while the data type of the reportData element is base64binary.
I've tried something like the following, but without any success:

           <ns1:row>
               <ns1:emp>
                  <ns1:name>
               </ns1:emp>
           </ns1:row>
       </ns1:rowset>

Thanks for your answer, the situation is a little different from what you describe.
We make a call to BI Publisher via a Web Service (PublicReportService) via the ReportRequest operation.
The report we call contains a query to a database.
When we do not include XML in the reportData field then the report data is obtained from the Database and the report result is returned via the Web Service.

When, however, we include XML data in the reportData field, then we see that ONLY the XML data in the reportData field is used, and NOT data from the Database.

How to use the date format for the given req.?

I have a requirement which should fetch the datas given by user. The user parameter is the date. The date will fetch the amount of the customer code for that particular month based on the date upto given by the user of that financial year.
If the user parameter is given as 200703(YYYYMM) it should fetch the datas of the financial year from 200604(YYYYMM) to 200703(YYYYMM). The logic is the user parameter year should fetch the datas of previous year till the user given date and the month should be also do the same. Please do the needfull oracle experts.

If you want to access database in the script itself (not in print program) yes, you can use PERFORM statement.
In your script, use:
/: PERFORM F_FORM IN PROGRAM ZRFIRFS05
/: USING &VAR1&
/: CHANGING &VAR2&
/: ENDPERFORM
Then, create a program ZPROG (ZRFIRFS05 in my case) with a structure like this one:
REPORT ZRFIRFS05 .
FORM f_form TABLES in_par STRUCTURE itcsy out_par STRUCTURE itcsy.
DATA: l_data1(10).
READ TABLE in_par WITH KEY name = 'VAR1'.
CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
l_data1 = in_par-value.
* SELECT .... "YOUR SELECT TO DATABASE
READ TABLE out_par WITH KEY name = 'VAR2'.
CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
out_par-value = l_data3.

You can use following approach:
- Create UDF for length analysis and raise exception if length is not accurate Use lenght() method of string.
CheckLength(Field, Length)
If Field.lenght() >= Length then raise mapping exception
Use Alert to capture this and send mail.
- Use Enum while defining datatype to reject data at source (in adapter engine). Again use Alerts to send mail.

My client uses Backblaze online backup, and recently needed to retrieve his contacts. Is the data stored in the app itself, or somewhere else? Backblaze doesn't back up applications by default. Is there a way to instruct Backblaze to back up the Contacts application?

00933 error when clicking on the data tab for the selected table

I'm getting the following error when selecting a table from the tree view then clicking on the data tab:
An error was encountered performing the requested operation:
ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended
00933.00000 - "SQL command not properly ended"

The exact same tables created from sqlplus for a different user in the same database work fine. Note, I'm not typing any SQL in myself. It would appear this happens on all tables created as this user. I cannot see any difference between permissions for this user and others which work but the failing user does have a "-" in the username and password which I'm suspicious of.
This is SQL Developer v 1.2.0 (build 29.98) (the most recent I believe, Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 and Linux ubuntu.

"-" is not allowed in identifiers and is almost certainly the cause of your problem. This can be got round by quoting i.e. using "STUPID-NAME" instead of STUPID-NAME.
I'm slightly surprised that SQLDeveloper doesn't quote the statement. Perhaps it quotes table names but not user names.

Throwing error when loading_If no data found for the field

Hi You can try this sample code..and correct the fields accordinly..
In the Update rules : write the following code for each IO.
For Company Code------
IF COMM_STRUCTURE-COMPCODE IS INITIAL.
    ABORT = 1.
ELSE.
    RESULT = COMM_STRUCTURE-COMPCODE .
ENDIF.
For Cost Centre------
IF COMM_STRUCTURE-COSCTCNTR IS INITIAL.
    ABORT = 1.
ELSE.
    RESULT = COMM_STRUCTURE-COSCTCNTR.
ENDIF.
Also check the Abort - pre defined values in order to handle the errors effectively.

Something has changed in my settings!! My Edit>Preferences>File Handling is checked to require Ask Before Saving Layered TIFF Files.
Today I hit Ctrl-S with a layered DNG and it saved it as an Edit.tif
What do I need to change so that the default on Ctrl-S from a Layered DNG is a Layered PSD?

Im trying to build user expiration into my registration form, but I cant get the form to send back the date registering.
in my data base i have tried every thing from timestamp to datetime. I can get a timestamp but it is not functioning with the expiration?

just have a look at my tutorial Login tables: installation & configuration where the required column attributes are explained and where you can obtain a fully functional SQL dump for a typical ADDT "login" and (optionally) "login_stats" table.
BTW, "expiration" will have to be an "int" column.
