Problem while attaching master data source to generic datasource

Hi All,
I have created a generic datasource using three tables in crm systems. the tables are CMSD_CB, CMAD_LO_PRICE AND CMSD_LO_QUANT.
i have loaded data to bw system and want to attach 0ORGUNIT master datasource to the generic datasource. so that i can get 0ORGUNIT hierarchy and sales grp/office details.
could some one help how to solve this problem.

You don't have to attach the master data datasource to your generic datasource.
Master data is loaded separately from transaction data, so you will see your hierarchy from the moment you loaded it with the 0ORGUNIT hierarchy datasource into your infoobject 0ORGUNIT.

Problem while generating classification data-sources

Hi ,
I have one classification data-source 1CL_OVEN001 which is based on vendor master data and class type 10. I tried to added one field in this data-source . while generating data-source, I got some error like " Extractor can not be generated".
Then I searched on SAP site and got one note 1946309 . When I implemented this note and tried to generated data-source. Now I am getting another error.
"EXTRACT STRUCTURE IS NOT PERMITTED"
I have tried with several note but getting same error.
Please help.

What field you have added, if it is Keyfigure then make sure that you have added its unit.

Language error while loading master data source for text

Hi,
We are getting the following error while loading the data in 0DISTR_CHAN_TEXT data source.
"Error during multibyte alignment for language D (position 2)".
Can we filter the data on the Language ( ='EN'). At the data source level LANGU field is marked for selection but still it is not available as filter at info package level.

Hey Vishal,
If the field is marked for Selection at data source level, then it must be available for selection in infopackage.
Try checking in RSA3 and see if it is available for selection over there. Let us know what was the output in R/3.

Problem while uploading master data through two files

Hi all,
When i try to upload master data of CUSTOMER with two files , Attribute and Text.
Text gets uploaded perfectly.
for Attribute, the data upload is done and psa i can see the exact data. But when i check the CUSTOMER object, i am not able to find the actually Attributs data. Instead those colmns are filed with 'E'.
Can anybdy please explain me wheret the problem is.

Hi Sun,
First check the data in PSA whether the records are fine or any discrepancy in them. Also check the properties of the COSTUMER object into which you are loading. The properties "type" or the "size" of the object may not be matching with the same in the file.
Check them and try to load once again.

Problem while loading master data - Help

I am using BI-7. I have Customer & Plant compounded in ZMat_Plant. I am trying to load zmat_Plant but getting following error.
I followed the solution as in link,but didnt worked: RSDMD 194: Error Loading 0Material 7.0 using 0SOURSYSTEM as compounding

System Response
    The system has recognized that the value mentioned above is invalid, and has processed this general error message. A subsequent message may give you more information on the error. This message refers to the same value, even though it does not state this explicitly.
Procedure
    If this message appears during a data load, maintain the attribute in the PSA maintenance screens. If this message appears in the master data maintenance screens, leave the transaction and call it again. This allows you to maintain your master data.

I used 'APLHA' conversion routine in infopackage, so the problem has been solved. Thanks...

Problem While loading Master data from R/3

When i am trying to load masters data from R/3 datasources to BW Info objects in Info provider menu data is coming to PSA but going to dta targets. the data is matching with the data in R/ 3 but
Missing message: Request received
Missing message: Number of sent records
Missing message: Selection completed
Data Package 1 : arrived in BW ; Processing : Selected number does not agree with transferred n
Info IDoc 1 : sent, not arrived ; IDoc ready for dispatch (ALE service)
and error message says ERROR 4 in the update.

Check for pending IDOCS in BD87 or SM58 and execute them.
In RSMO, select the particular load you want to monitor.
In the menu bar, Environment >>> Transact. RFC >>> Select whichever is required, BW or Source System.
In the next screen you can select the Execute button and the IDOCS will be displayed.
Refer this Tcodes for IDOC status.

place the cursor on the particular Transaction ID and go to EDIT in the menu bar --> press 'Execute LUW'
(Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call) ---> select the TrasnID ---> EDIT ---> Execute LUW)
Rather than going to SM58 and executing LUW directly it is safer to go through BD87 giving the IDOC name as it will take you
to the particular TRFC request for that Idoc.

Problem while loading Master data load

Hi,
i am loading master data for 0PROJECT. for attributes and text we do have delta.
for text after load added records will be 0 eventhough few records there and they are transferred records. i checked in RSA3 it has records.
can any body tell me the reason for this?

for full load only no of added records are 0 where transferred are 26.
i checked in master data table and all these records already present... may be becoz of that reason if i do full load and delta ...added is 0 only.
am i right in this? plz let me know.

Error Caller 70" is missing while loading master data

Hi All,
I am facing a Problem while loading master data getting error like "Error Caller 70" is missing" ,there are 4 data packages and in that except one all other with status green .1 data pakage is showing with red color, its update till only PSA .
Please help me out to solving this issue .

Error 0 update while loading master data

Hi,
Iam facing a problem while loading master data.Data has comes to PSA but it getting failed to load into infoobject it is showing the error " error in the 0 update".
Ihave tried for manual update, even though it is showing same problem .masterdata 0material is copy back from production to Quality.presently iam uploading data in quality.can anybody give your valuable suggestions.

I've a compounding characteristic in this characteristic.
And the master data loading was fine yesterday but today it doesn't work.
When I check with rsrv this characteristic, a dump with message:
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLRRSI" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
In program "GP47HH4A9VROVK98YR0TT9S7TQ5 ", the following syntax error occurred
in the Include "GP47HH4A9VROVK98YR0TT9S7TQ5 " in line 25:
"Field "/BIC/MZCATWRT" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specifie"
"d tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement."
So I think something is wrong in this Char.
But what can I do for that?

Duplication of records while loading Master Data.

Hi All,
I am facing problem while loading master data from 0BPARTNER_ATTR. The infopackage is getting failed showing message "44 duplicate record found. 32 recordings used in table 44 duplicate record found. 32 recordings used in table /BI0/XBPARTNER"
we can rectify manually but daily the loading is getting failed showing the same message. So Cvan anybody suggest me how to rectify this problem permanently. And Can you Explain me why the error is?
If i go to PSA and check i can find only one dulplicate record. I am not able to understand the Error Message.

Hi,
there was (is?) a recent problem in the SAP BI 7.0 software, so that duplicates were removed during init load, but not during delta load. Although the DTP could not set currently (also an error that has already a SAP note). We added a manual removal using ABAP code to avoid upgrading to a new SAP version. That helped. The duplicates may also result from two full request that are loaded at the same time.
Hope this help to analyse the problem in details.

Issue while loading Master Data through Process Chain in Production

We are getting an error in Process chain while loading Master Data
Non-updated Idocs found in Source System
Diagnosis
IDocs were found in the ALE inbox for Source System that are not updated.
Processing is overdue.
Error correction:
Attempt to process the IDocs manually. You can process the IDocs manually using the Wizard or by selecting the IDocs with incorrect status and processing them manually.
I had checked the PSA also but I could not find any record and the strange thing is, Job itself is not getting scheduled. Can any one help me out in order to resolve this issue.

This problem is not related to Process chain..
u can try this..
In RSMO, select the particular load you want to monitor.

This Data Package TID is Transaction ID in SM58.

SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute.It will show you all the pending TRFC with
Transaction ID.
In the Status Text column you can see two status
Transation Recorded and Transaction Executing
Don't disturb, if the status is second one Transaction Executing. If the status is first one (Transation Recorded) manually
execute the "Execute LUWs"
OR
Directly go to SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute. It will show TRFCs to be executed
for that user. Find the particular TRFC (SM37 > Req name > TID from data packet with sysfail).select the TrasnID (SM58) --->
EDIT ---> Execute LUW

I have done the following regarding the issue ....Looking at the error i have gone trough the transformation and i didnt find any routines or formuales
I have checked the PSA and down loaded the data to spread sheet and put a filter on SHORT and STEXT assuming i will find the value
'Ship &' as mentioned in the Diagnosis description. However i was not able to find the relavent data(i went to se16 gave teh request ID from PSA and displayed the entire data)tarting with Ship .The closest value i could find in both the fileds was was AVP Shipment .
I have the following questions
1)In the screen short 2 it says record number 349 is it right to go to PSA table and check against the record number 349(i tried that but i was not able to find the error against that record)
2)why am i not finding the value 'Ship' in PSA ...but this is the value wich is creating a poblem in updating to the target ....does it mean the record value is Ship or it starts with Ship or is ir part of some word?
Please find the attached PSA data file (u have to convert it to Excel)
I request people to help me analyse the issue and fix the issue.

I checked other records as well they were a lot of smallcharecters upper case charectres ,numeric special charecters .but nothing stopped ...when the system is even accpeting all other charectres like smallof caps or numeric... why on this record is creating an issue...
please have a look at error stack
and i have one more question when i look at PSA there are close to 300000 records
but when i do an SE16 with request id i see only close to one lakh records (i came to conclusion b dragging down and the last record number was (below screen shot)
Can you tell me what my mistake is numebr or records are not tallying in SE16 and PSA..

BPC Error while loading master data from SAP BW

Hello Guru,
I have NW BPC 7.5 installed on BW server. Currently i have started to work on one application where i have to load master data first. I am loading master data for cost center.
I looked into the process chain "BPC: Import BW InfoObject master data" and i found that few processes are in GREEN color and few are in RED color (Display). is that correct or not ? then as per some of the thread i went to "BPC: Convert BW infoObject master data" --> SOURCE_TYPE = IP and added one parameter "FORMULA_FILE_NO". Then i saved this process chain and activated it.
I created transformation file in BPC and it got created successfully but while i try to load packages it throws me error.
Q. Do i need to have entire process chain with all processes in GREEN to have the master data in BPC ?
Q. Do i need to activate any BADI's for this or not ?

Caller-70 Error while loading master data into infoobject

hi ,
I am getting following error while loading master data into infoobject (0tb-account). I am loading this master data in production environment for the first time. there are about 300000 records. All have got loaded upto PSA. Infopackage settings were PSA and then into data target.
Short dump in the Warehouse
Diagnosis
The data update was not finished. A short dump has probably been logged in BI. This provides information about the error.
System Response
"Caller 70" is missing.
ST22 dump analysis is as below:
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "GP476CZYBEF2WX53UZ8TXFG6XOS" - in
"VALUE_TO_SID_CONVERT_DB".
The main program was "RSMO1_RSM2 ".
Please help as soon as you can..Production problem....

May be IDOCs not processed completely,
Idoc Problem, Either wait till time out & process Idoc from detail monitor screen, or go to BD87 & process Idoc with status = YELLOW ( be careful while processing IDOCS from BD87, choose only relevant Idocs
