Problem while creating work centre

Dear friends when i am creating work centre i am facing problem in entering activity types. The error message occurs as activity type was planned in fiscal year 2008 as non allocatable. Can any body help me please

Dear Vijay,
While assigning the activity type,just confirm whether the activity type which you are trying to use in the work centre has got a rate for
that cost center (assigned in the work center).
In T code KP26,a rate will be assigned for the cost center+activity type combination.
1.Check the valid from date of the cost centre and work center.
2.Cost center's will be created in T code KS01.
3.Activity types will be created in T code KL01.
4.Assign rate for activity types to cost centre in KP26 for the financial period 2008.

You please try by giving simple name like VI01 instead of what you have given, i think the field length should be restricting.

Error while creating work repository

Hi all,
I am facing problem while creating work repository in ODI.
I have successfuly created master repository and also test connection comes out to be succesull for work repository.
But while i click on OK it gives CREATION error stating
No data found : \snps_login_security.xml(Access is Denied)

Problem while Creating Service order through Work Order

Hi Gurus,
I have a problem While creating Service order (me21n) through - Work order it contains service requisitions.
So that means they carry information such as G/L and work order number while entering the requistion no in PO Creation Screen (me21n) which automatically should be picked from the work order refference.
But problem here is the service items and all other are assigned to PO except the Account Assingnment tab which is GL Account and Work Order No and Cost center..
Can anyone explain me this?
Is this something that one can explain?

Thanks for the reply. Actually i don't want any work around (Creating MVLOG on table rather than synonym is fine with me) . I just wanted to know it is actually an oracle bug or something else.

Problem while creating the Partner Address in CRM

   We are facing one problem while creating the new address for the Business Partner.
   When ever customer wants to change the address : we are following one process : where we are
   using 'BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD' functin module. Becuse of this , new addrss number will be generated for the
corresponding account in BUT021_FS table.But this table contains old address number as a first record, so that when ever
we display the partner address in UI, it is displaying the old address only because first entry of the the table 'BUT021_FS'
contains the old address number.
Because of this , we are getting lots of complaints regarding this.
Can you please help on this ASAP.

Hi Murgesh,
If GL code is not getting bydefault from the system it is needed to be provided by the user.
If normally one GL is there or other than master data services if single GL is there u can set that in SPRO.
it is avalible in deafult settings in order node
If you are creating the order with refrence to PR then it will take account assignement as "F" system will pick up all the details from PM module. This is the integration of MM & PM module.
But if your PO is not w.r.t. PM orders PR then needs to be given manully.

I am able to create Project Definitions using LSMW. (using recording)
But there is a problem while creating WBS elements.
Tcode CJ20 has table control and that will become problem for multiple rows (levels).
Can anyone suggest a solution to mass upload WBS elements?

Hi,
Instead of using "BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN", use following solution. We are using this solution and it is working pretty good.
If the WBS element is already created and you want to create one more with same data, first get the WBS related information using BAPI_PROJECT_GETINFO as you are doing currently.
I am using different sets of BAPIs to create project, create / change WBS element.
I use function module from Function group CJ2001 ( Project related BAPIs ), CJ2054 ( WBS related BAPIs ) and PS_BAPI ( pre/post processing BAPIs ). There are specific order in which you need to execute these BAPIs.
For example if you want to create / change the WBS element, the BAPIs sequence is:
<b>1. BAPI_PS_INITIALIZATION
2. BAPI_BUS2054_CREATE_MULTI ( to create WBS )
or
2. BAPI_BUS2054_CHANGE_MULTI ( to change WBS )
3. BAPI_PS_PRECOMMIT
4. BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT</b>
Check the documentation of BAPI "BAPI_BUS2054_CREATE_MULTI " to see how these function modules work.

Open object for editing...--> Object is a Template to Yes.
Result :

I've got a problem with this too. I use the BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 with BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT and the webdynpro shows me the document number created in R3 with a Success message. But when I go to R3 and try to display the created sales order, it doesn't exists. So... Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT. ¿Can anybody help me with this?

Also check the error message(long text) and paste it here...
check if you are either creating a "second" Delta DTP ( if an existing Delta DTP exists, then system will not allow you create a second DTP) and will throw an "overlapping" error
