Hello experts,
I have a problem while doing delivery, even though stock is available in the storage location but, I am not able to create a delivery because it is throwing errors
10 No schedule lines are due for delivery up to selected date
20 Item with no delivery quantity is not permitted.
please help me

Hi,
Check the sales order line item -> schedule line tab.
If the quantity is not confirmed, then you can't create the delivery.
If the quantity is not confirmed, then highlight the item and click on the availability check button at the bottom. The system can propose or confirm the quantity based on the stock/inward movements of stocks.
If any storage location is added in the sales order, remove that also.
If the quantity is confirmed in the sales order, then in VL01N, when you create delivery, put the delivery date in the VL01 screen very much in future and check.

for both scenarios i am using Allocation Table Item category AAFA
In AAFA,(Alloc Item Cate) SD Type is ZZTA and delivery type is not maintined..(what are the entries should be in the Alloc Tab Item Cat).
but in ZZTA sales order doc type(v0v8) Delivery type is LF

Hi friends,
Iam facing a problem while updating delivery date of a purchase order using the bapi BAPI_PO_CHANGE
After the bapi is getting triggered iam geting sy-subrc = 0
But in the return parameters iam getting 3 error messages so iam unable to update the delivery date..
Error meesage which iam getting are
a) Purchase order still contains faulty items
b) Enter Tax Code
c) Instance 1000001 of object type PurchaseOrder could not be changed.
How can i correct it..

Problem while postings a MIRO for partial deliveries.

Hi,
We ar facing a problem
while posting a Miro for the Planned delivery costs for the import orders.
when we receive an item in partial consignment of the same order.
The system will allow for the first time to post the deliver cost, after this the MIGO and MIRO will be done and cycle will be completed.
For the second remaining consignment, the system is not allowing to post the Miro itself for the delivery costs.
IT is giving an error message."Quantity invoiced greater than goods receipt quantity."
We have disable GR based IV in PO
Provide me the solution.

i hope you have done the following steps
1) for import do MIRO first for the custom duties ( CVD, Edu Cess, S& H Cess on CVD) by selecting planned delivery cost.
2) J1IEX ( capture) referencing material document number of MIRO.
3) MIGO of the qty received.
4) J1IEX ( post).
follow the same steps for the next consignment.
what I see is that you have mentioned the full qty against the value in MIRO.
say ur PO qty is 10 and your partial shipment is of qty 5.
then in first MIRO entry enter qty as 5 not 10.
pl check your material documents of MIRO and MIGO and see what qty you have entered.

FIFO batch determination while delivery in SD

Hi Experts
I did tried to search FIFO batch determination while delivery in SD, but could not find any solution. Please suggest.
1. Strategy type -SD01
2. Batch search Procedure - SD0001
3. Allocated SD Search procedure to the sales area + Sales doc. Type
4. Activated automatic batch determination in SD.
5. Class - CLASS_FIFO is created with Char- LOBM_LWEDT
6. Sort rule - SORT_FIFO and assigned Char - LOBM_LWEDT
7. Create material and assiged Class - CLASS_FIFO and Batch management is activated
8. Maintained condition record VCH1 in keycombination - Material.
After all above configuration, I am able to do the automatic batch determiation. The suggest where I am wrong.
The same configuration I have done for FEFO and its working.

Problem in delivery charges calculation during MIRO

Hi,
I am facing a tricky problem while doing the Invoice receipt.
A Service PO is created with the quantity of 10.
Account assignment category: U (Unknown)
Price of the service is 100 USD
Gross Price: 1000 USD (100USD *10)
Discount is 20%
Net value incl. discount 800 USD
Packing, fwd charges 100 USD (Delivery chrgs)
TOTAL PRICE*****: 900 USD.
The Delivery charges of 100 USD is not getting picked while doing MIRO.
Even the Net Price shown for the line item in PO is 800 USD and the Total price is 900 USD.
Instead the Delivery chrgs are getting multiplied by quantity, which should not happen for Services.
This is only happening when I am keeping Account assignment category U (Unknown) in PO.
If I assign acct assignment category in PO is other than Unknown; the system is picking the correct price at the time of MIRO.

Hi Guru
Check the schedule lines of the items, if there is
unconfirmed quantity. Try adding the stock using
transaction MB1C movement type 511, storage location and
plant from sales order.
Then go to VA02, select the items and use menu path
Edit->check availability. If the stock comes then i
guess you should be able to create the delivery. If the
block problem appears again, do the earlier steps
releasing the sales order from VKM3.

Item 000010 requires exactly 100 serial numbers for the asset
Note : Actually sales order quantity is 1000. I am doing partial delivery of 100 qty.

This could be becasue of serial number profile settings issue.

The procedure SDCC might be assigned to your serial number profile, which is there in your material master. The serial number usage is 03 - Must. this is the reason why the system is asking a serial number at the time of PGI. You may change the usage to 02.

Problem while dropping a table

Dear All,
I am facing a problem while dropping a table in Oracle 10g.
I am able to find the number of records in the table but unble to delete it.

Facing problem while going to catch return result from web-services.

I am new to BPEL. I am facing problem while going to catch the attributes of resultsets returning from web-services(QAS). As far as my knowledge, two types of results it should return - XML entities and another is attributes which is coming as the part of XML entitites. I am able to catch the XML entities, but can't catch the attributes under it. Even, I am not able to see whether web-services returning something within that field.
When, I tried to catch the attribute and store to a temporary varilable using the following code:

Getting this error it seems to me that web-service is returning nothing, but, it returns something as it has been catched using a method called isPostcodeRecoded() Java Code in Oracle ADF. This method has been used as it should return boolean whereas for catching the xml entities using java code we used the method like getPostcode(), getMoniker().
For your information, we are using Jdeveloper as the development tool for building the BPEL process.
Am I doing any syntax error. Please consider it as urgent and provide me asolution.

It is not even considering folderId while inserting into db.
However it works fine when I add folderId variable in Files entity and changed insertFile like this:

I used Mysql 5.1 for database, then generate entities using toplink, JPA 1.0, glassfish v2.1.
I've also tested this using eclipselink and got same error.
Please provide some pointers.

What version of EclipseLink did you try? This looks like bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=280436 that was fixed in EclipseLink 2.0, so please try a later version.
You can also try working around the problem by making both fields writable through the reference mapping.

A web developer problem while running a web application

I'm novice to J2EE.
I've encountered a problem while accessing the deployed module in weblogic 8.1 server.
I'm sure that the webapplication module is deployed as i saw my module in administration console & also the status said that it is deployed.
when i access my web application by specifying the proper server and port no and context root it is showing
either 505 - resource not found error(http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh) or 404 - not found error.( http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh)
Now let me elaborate what i've done till now.
My webapplication folder structure is : C:\bea\user_projects\domains\mydomain\applications\Suresh\WEB-INF\classes\Sai\ServExamp.class
My servlet is ServExamp.java
I created a folder called "Suresh". In that folder created another folder called "WEB-INF". In WEB-INF created a folder called "Classes".
Since my servlet is in package "Sai", the .class file reside in \Suresh\WEB-INF\Classes\Sai\ServExamp.class

1) clicked on deployments, then navigated to "Web Application Modules" .
2) Clicked "Deploy new Web Application Module"
3) Navigated to the location of your web application folder (Suresh). There was a radio button next to it indicating that I can select that folder as a valid web application.
4) I Clicked that radio button and clicked "Target Module".
5) It informed that my web application "Suresh" will be deployed to myServer.It asked a name for my web application deployment. By default it was "Suresh"
I clicked Deploy.
6) After deployment, my web application "Suresh" appeared in the "Web Application Modules" tree on the left.
I Clicked on "Suresh"( my web application) then clicked the testing tab, then clicked the link shown there(http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2).
It was not showing my servlet (showed a 403 error)

I think so it came b'coz I don't have an index.html or index.jsp page.
7)Instead,I added my servlet on to the URL it provided.

Problem while Binding multiple Parameters to View Object[Solved]

Hello,
I am facing problem while binding multiple parameters with different data types in View Object query. For example suppose I have following query in my view object.
SELECT Header.ADDED_BY
Header.BATCH_ID,
FROM BATCH_HEADER Header
WHERE :1='deptAdmin' and Header.BATCH_ID
in
select batch_id from batch_header_dept_mapping where dept_id in(SELECT * FROM TABLE(CAST(:0 AS TABLE_OF_VARCHAR)))
I am able to pass the Bind variables of Array type for : 0 , using Steve's ArrayOfStringDomain example. (ArrayOfStringDomain) .
But after passing value to second bind parameter ie.. :1 .
I am getting the error as follows.
## Detail 0 ##
java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got CHAR.
I tried to set
setWhereClauseParam(1,11); // 11 is Number
setWhereClauseParam(0,arr); // arr is arr = new Array(descriptor,conn,deptid); for in parameter.
But of no use , Please let me know if any thing missing form me or have any another solutions. Also please provide me any example if have.

hi.
but when using non-Oracle named parameter binding styles as you've done (ie. , :1), regardless of what number you give each bind variable, they are sequenced 0, 1, 2 etc. As such your bind variable :1 is the 0th parameter, and your bind variable is the 1st parameter.Your statment is correct.
:1 i used was actually on 0th position and :0 was on 1 position. Like you said in sequence 0,1,2 etc. Now i get the answer and i corrected My mistake by assigning right values to right binding variable. and problem just solve.

Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) SM37 job log (give BIrequest name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish.
3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.
You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the cube.
