Problem while evaluating Hyperion 9.3.1 trial version

Hi, I recently downloaded Hyperion Reporting and Analysis 9.3.1 trial version. I installed Shared services and then installed
1. Hyperion Reporting and Analysis - System 9 Services Release 9.3.1 Microsoft Windows x86.
2. Hyperion Reporting and Analysis - System 9 UI Services Release 9.3.1 Microsoft Windows x86.
3. Hyperion Reporting and Analysis - System 9 Client Release 9.3.1 Microsoft Windows x86.
in the above mentioned order. I tried configuring using the Hyperion Configuration Utility. Following are the problems I faced.
1. In the product options, I am able to see only Impact management services. No other services are listed.
2. Finally if I continue with the configuration and complete with what ever is available, I find only the following services listed in my service manager
a. Hyperion S9 BI+ 9.3 Financial.... related services.
b. Hyperion S9 BI+ 9.3 Web Analysis
c. Hyperion S9 BI+ 9.3 Workspace, OpenLDAP, Shared Services.
I am not able to find Hyperion Interactive and Reporting Analysis services.
3. After starting all the services, when i hit the url http://localhost:19000/workspace and give the user id and password as "admin" and "password" respectively I get an error message *"Could not find a Hyperion Reporting and Analysis System 9 Server running on <machineno> at the port <portno>"*
Has any 1 faced similar kind of issue? Help me resolve the issue.

Hi,
When you install weblogic you need to do a custom install and make sure you click the webserver plugin components, you should be able to run the installer again.

    1. See to it that all previous instances of SAP trial versions of sw have been removed from your PC/laptop.
    2. Remove your laptop from any network and install Ms- loop back adapter or have a it connect to a network with proper IP.
    3. Have your DHCP enabled.

  • Problems with SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version installation

    Hi,
    I have installed NW 7.01 ABAP trial version "successfully".
    Unfortunately the application server doesn't start.
    After some time the Dispatcher process stopps.
    In the syslog you can see that 7 workprocesses are started.
    they all don't seem to be able to connect to the database and shut down.
    The related syslog messages are:
    Database: SQL error -1070 occurred (possible network problems?). Work process is stopped
    Database: Database error -10709 at CON   
    Database: > Connection failed (RTE:Database name is missing) 
    SAP-Basis System: Stop Workproc 4, PID     4136
    I already re-installed the Trial version, and I also checked that the database is up and running.
    The error persist.
    Can anyone help ?

    I have been trying to Install Crystal Reprots 2011 trial version in my Desktop whose Operating System( windows 7 ) language is English .
    I choose English as a language pack during  Crystal Reports installation , at the end of the installation I found the software was installed in Danish as I stay in Denmark......
    I tried several times to install it in English but the same problem comes up..............

    When I capture video from a dvd, it only captures some files, not all using the Trial version. 40% of video did not capture. Why does this happem?

    With a DVD-Video, you are only concerned with Importing the VOB files, which contain the spanned MPEG-2 Video and Audio. This ARTICLE goes into much more detail, and also lists some cases, where Import will not function properly.
    Where did this DVD come from, and what software/hardware was used to produce it?

    I have been trying to install the SAP Netweaver 2004s Trial version on Fedora 9, 64 bit, x86_64, but have not been able to accomplish this correctly.
    New to the Linux environment as well, and hence not completely sure about the issues here. According to the steps outlined for the installation, i downloaded and installed the IBM Java SDK and then executed the install.sh script file from the download.
    The installation went well, but when i try to start the sap system using the command startsap, i get the error message command not found.
    Could anyone please guide.

    You can just ignore this warning in EPC
    as this FORM USER_COMMAND  is always called indirectly only
    But check the Output and see?

    Hi - I cannot print any pdf files since I downloaded the trial of Adobe XI Pro. I use a Macbook Pro and prior to the download of this trial, I could print any pdfs without difficulty. Since the download of the trial, my printer will print any other types of files (Word, excel, etc.), but not anything that has to do with Adobe. Please help!

    One should get a dialog screen with two choices:
    1.) Trial
    2.) Activate with S/N and full activation via Internet/phone
    If you are not getting this option, then I'd suspect that there is something wrong with your installation file. Unfortunately, the trial release for CS3 has long expired, so I doubt that Adobe will be of much help. Installation issues are free, but I do not know if they extend to trials, even of the current release - never did an Adobe trial in my life.
    Maybe a search of this forum will reveal something from the days when the CS3 trial was current.
    BTW, where did you get the file? If from an Adobe download page, maybe try the download again.

  • SAP Netweaver ABAP Trial Version password expired

    Hi All,
    I just got an installer for the SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial Version and I was able to install the Trial version. However, my license have already expired. So what I did was is to renew the license. But my problem right now is that I can't logon using BCUSER. I'm getting  "Logon not possible (error in license check".
    During the time when I renew the license, i didn't encounter any errors or problems.
    Could anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?
    How can I have BCUSER up and running since I need this account to practice ABAP?
    I tried deleting the old license using SAP* user because I don't think it is possible to do using that user.

    I have had a similar issue but the above remedy did not fix my problem.  I had successfully installed the trial version and used it until the license expired.  After downloading a new license, I installed it using SAP*.  The installation was successful however, when trying to login using BCUSER I am still getting that same error.
    Under slicense, user sap*, I have the following:

    Sorry for the sloppy cut&paste but you can see that the install appears to be valid.
