Problem while opening Skype

Good Afternoon,
Its being several months, that I am facing this problem. When I open Skype, its opens but there are no options or blank spaces visible for user name and password (Attached is a picture for reference) .
I have re-installed Skype various times, but the problems remains. Kindly provide some suggestion for the mentioned issue. Thanks

What version of Windows are you on (XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 )? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

In Internet Explorer go to Help -> About Internet Explorer.
P.S. Please, don’t say that you are not using Internet Explorer. This is irrelevant. Skype depends on Internet Explorer.

Problem while opening Bex query on the web

Hello BW experts,
I have a problem while opening Bex query from my SAP Favorites.See below.
When i double click on the query, i get the following page, with the server name KBWS01QX.
But, from RSRT Tcode, select the query > query display as HTML > Click on ABAP Web , click execute as shown below, it is going to the correct URL as in the 2nd screen shot below.
My question is why is it going to the wrong URL when i open it from SAP Favorites menu?
I want it to open the same URL as it opened from RSRT(which is the right one)
What is the Config needed to make it to work from SAP favorites.
Any help would be appreciated.

From RSRT, this time I clicked on JAVA WEB, and i get the below URL, which is the same URL i was getting when i executed the query from SAP favorites.

Problem while opening Excel through OLE

Hi Friends
I am facing a problem while opening an excel file through OLE. it is working fine in SAP ECC 5.0, but the problem is in ECC 6.0.
I am adjusting the cells for auto fit. I have written the code like below.
CALL METHOD OF e_appl 'CELLS' = e_cell.
CALL METHOD OF e_cell 'EntireColumn' = ole_columns .
CALL METHOD OF ole_columns 'AutoFit'.
set property of e_appl 'VISIBLE' = 1.
if I take out the adjustment part it is working fine for this program, rest other programs even if I have this code, they working fine.
When I am executing the statement set property of e_appl 'VISIBLE' = 1. the return code is coming as 2.
Could anybody please help me to overcome this problem.

In ECC 6.0, if the worksheet is portedcted SAP unable to open that sheet, now we have taken out this option so it is working.

You may try some of the following (you are past 1) and 2).
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Problem while opening page page in Illustrator

I opened a pdf page in Illustrator to extract the image. Missing font dialog box was not shown while opening the pdf page but junk characters (box-like) appeared in the file.
The font used for these characters is Times New roman composite True type. This font could not be replaced with Times new roman true type font.
Let me know how to avoid the junk characters while opening the pdf page in Illustrator

Junk characters usually means a foreign language unicode problem. Does the file look good in acrobat?
Best advice I can offer is what I used in the past, to save as an image from acrobat. I tried look ing in export to .eps if you coudl convert to outlines, btu could not find anything (screenshto below).

Open form builder.
Make connection with database.
Now open the form.

Problem while openning Interactive Form

Hi All,
I am facing an propblem while openning the Interactive PDF. I created an interactive PDF in Adobe LiveCycle Designer v8.0.
The Adobe Reader was 8.1. The form was working well and after quite few days i am got this below message, but the same form was openning well in other systems with adobe reader 9.1 and i updated the reader with 9.1 in my system aslo and i am still getting this message. What would be the problem and kinldy provide a solution for this.
"This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document."

2. Are you using some other language in adobe form
3. Ask Your Basis team to restart the Server
4. Check if any upgrade needed for your Adobe reader

Problem while opening the PDF

Hi All,
Iam having an issue while opening the PDF-Attachment in which iam sending it as attachment to the mail.While opening the PDF iam getting the error that "Aodbe Reader could not open the document because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged(for example,it was sent as an email attachment and was'nt correctly decoded)".
The function-module "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1" is getting use to send the attachment.
First iam converting the internal table data into PDF and then am sending the mail with PDF-attchment.

Even i had a smilar problem. The reason is perhaps the data in internal table doesnt get converted into PDF corectly. In my case i had to convert into PDF and download on local machine. Attching below code for it.Maybe u can get pointers to your problem.

Problem while opening PDF form in ABAP

Hello All,
We are getting error while opening results in trip transaction.The form we are using is standard PDF form.
I did all ADS configuartion.
But while opening the URL Http://Host name:port/AdobeDocumnetservices/config
it is asking me user name & password.I am giving user as ADSUSER.But it is not accepting.
ADSUSER is the user used in the RFC & services in JAVA.
(Java & Abap are in the same server).
Can anyone help me?

run a file
./go
it will open the visual administrator
user id j2ee_admin
password is the master pasword which you gave while installation SAP.
and follow the path and check whether you have the entry or not.
Please make sure for your HTTP destination service configuration.
Visual Admin -> Server -> services -> Destination-> HTTP -> FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>
Do you have this entry?

Authentication type: BASIC
User: ADS_AGENT / corresponds password
also refer to sap installation guide where they have give something for adobe document serveres - post installation steps.

I created an Xcelsius dashboard which contains 3 tabs and in each tab i placed different components. Everything works fine.
I exported it to BO platform and while opening it in Infoview it looks very small. Not even in visible size.
My Qn is how should I enlarge it to view it properly???

Open the xcelsius file and in designer, please click on Fit Canvas to Components which will be available 2 buttons next to Data Manager icon. Once this is done, all your components will be fit in the canvas. You can always click on "+" button next to Data Manager icon, to maximize the canvas size. Once this is done, save the XLF and then export to BOE. Hope this helps you.

This might be due to a "bad" character in a song or album title. Have a look for a "/" or double or single quotes in a title or song and change it.

Problem while opening a link of a PDF that points to a specific page to another PDF

PDF links whose URIs include backslashes are interpreted by Acrobat Reader browser plug-in as local file-system links even when they are not. This means that a link that points to a specific page number will open the file but not automatically jump to the desired page . In our browser-based viewing tool, this means that the links are perceived as not working.
for example : from IE Browser When we tried to open the link in PDF 1 which has the URL of the 5th section of PDF2 and the URL includes the backslashes then the Specific section of PDF2 is not getting opened . The link just opens the PDF2 first page. This Specific problem does not arrives if we try to open the link through Adobe Reader or if the URL mentioned in the PDF is formed using forwordslashes instead of backslashes.

Problem while opening the BI reports in Portal Favourites

Hi All,
While trying to add a BI report in Portal Favourites, I am able to add the reports in portal favourites but when I click the reports(inside Portal Favourites) to open it , it will not open the reports but opens the very first page of the portal which we get after login to portal.
Please tell me how can I open the respective reports which I added in portal favourites.

Doesnt seem to appear as a portal issue neither it is a reader issue. Might be some issues with the network which isnt allowing the entire file to get downloaded and hence causing the browser to hang.

Upgrade to Netweaver causing problem while opening pdf file in the portal

After an upgrade to Netweaver 4.0, the following code for opening a pdf file constructed from a byte stream passed from an RFC fails.

Hi Devina,
We are also opening a pdf file constructed from a byte stream passed from an RFC. Our problem is that we are experiencing inconsistent results. The file appears to open on some PC workstations but not on others. When it doesn't work we simply get a blank screen in the window. Did you resolve your issue? If so, perhaps you can provide us with some suggestions for solving our problem.
