Problem while trying to install MS tools for PDA

I'm using Windows XP service pack 2 (new PC at work...), and I get the message "'Windows CE Emulator' will cause Windows to become unstable. Windows has prevented these drivers from loading." while trying to install the eVC4 package required to run the LabVIEW PDA Module.
So far, no way to solve the problem, even trying to follow/understand the "Help and Support" file that is proposed by Window.
Any hint ?

I've got a problem while trying to install OVI Suite: I'm getting a warning signal that says "Something got wrong - Nokia Ovi Suite installations require that PC Connectivity solution 7.0.0.0 or a later version to be already installed before continuing installation" and I can't install after that. Trying to install BI tool for jdeveloper

when i try to install BI tool for jdeveloper. it is asking for jdeveloper full path where can i find the full path. please help me in this regard.

Problems while trying to install JDK in windows 7

Hello,
I tried to install latest JDK version: jdk1.6.0_21 on my windows 7...
I have set the Variable in USER VARIABLE as:
NAME: PATH
Value: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_21\bin
Now, When I went to the CMD and typed "set" it showed me
CLASSPATH=.;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\lib\ext\QTJava.zip
Now, I am not sure what to do after this? Am I on the right track or doing something wrong?
I really want to be able to install this ASAP so I can start using/learning JAVA Programming from very basic.
Instead of using Netbeans I want to use this command prompt to be able to learn java.
I want to type all my codes in this CMD thing and be able to store and view all the files from this cmd / folder.

You really do not need to change your classpath. There are ways around it (search the net).
Once you have changed your PATH variable open up a new command prompt. Type
java
javacIf the responses you get back are about the usage then you have set it correctly and can now compile and run your programs. If you get back an error saying that it cannot find the program then your PATH is wrong.
You might also want to try
java -version
javac -versionto confirm that you have the correct version installed.

Error while trying to install SAP 8.8 Pl 10 Server on Windows 7

Installing DPS tools for Indesign CC error

Hi,
I'm trying to install DPS-tools for CC, while CS 6 is still on our Macs (School with CS6-students @home) and I get the error, your administrator is blokking upgrades.
While i'm logged in as admin on my computer.
Though Folio Builder works on CS6 but i can't update (the folio builder tools) it either.
We would prefer to teach folios etc. in CC.

This is not the first time I get it, and it seems a recurring problem.

Dave, same problem here. And I did go in as admin to Administrative Tools, Services, Apple Mobile Devices and tried restarting the service. It seems there is a bug with the newest update, period. All of the normal "easy" steps don't work. Before I remove all of Apple's programs, including Bonjour....I'm running a full system scan.
But the answer will be to remove all of the Apple stuff, then reboot, then use whatever utility you have to remove all temp files...then go download and install it again. This has worked for several people (I read the thread before posting). Win 7 64bit. It just seems that Apple did not thoroughly test this new version. Period.
If Apple reads this...I have many computers...and whenever Apple wants to update something...it just about stops everything else that is going on. Total memory hog, even with 16G RAM and dual quad core processors. It has to learn to play nice with others.
After the scan and I'm sure an hour or two of work...I'll re-post.
Of course if you do image back-ups, as I do, you can simply restore your drive to its previous state and run the previous version of iTunes, declining the update, until Apple gets it right. Depending on the size of your drive, this could take hours. It is a matter of choice, of course.

1603 error while trying to install skype

I'm having an issue while trying to install Skype on this computer, when I try to install it, it pops up and says "Object Already Exists" and then I get a second window saying "Error 1603 has occured: Fatal Error During Installation." I had Skype and it told me I needed to update so I clicked it and I've been getting this message ever sense. I tried to find Skype to uninstall it but after clicking that update the program was gone. So I went into Program files and deleted all skype related things and tried to download and install again. Got the same message. Please help!

You have to reboot for that fix to work. If you already did this then for whatever reason the solution didn't work on your machine (possibly due to some other corruption). The issue you are having is not Skype based but Windows/OS installer based. Try to install the latest Windows updates to see if that will fix the issue as newer Windows updates were designed to address that problem. If you have already tried that then remove the problematic Windows updates that causes this issue on some computers.

While trying to install an app on my iPad, I got a "waiting"message instead of installing. It never goes beyond waiting. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. I got the same message. Has anyone had the same problem?

Here are a number of things that you can try.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.

For anyone that comes across this. I managed to fix the problem. It had something to do with the date on my computer. Mavericks installer apparently does a date check of some sort and that is where the error is coming from. Open terminal and check the system date. It may be wrong. Another poster in the forums told me how to to check the date and change it. Click here for the link to the explanation. Be careful because the date is in a weird format.

Initially iTunes would not run although it had been running quite well up until now. Suddenly received this error on PC start-up "The program can't start because MSVC80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Research on Net pointed me to iTunes as the issue. Tried to start iTunes and received that message again. Tried installing latest version of 64-bit iTunes and received the subject message part way through the install: Trying to install latest iTunes for Windows 7 64-bit. Keep getting this error message "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
iTunes has been running great on this PC for years. What's up?
