Problem while using function module TRIP_EDIT_TEXT_IN_POPUP

Hii,
I am using a fm TRIP_EDIT_TEXT_IN_POPUP to display text editor where the user can write some comments.
This is my code

The problem is when I am passing a already filled table TEXTTAB (To display data when the screen comes up) It is not working. It is showing the blank editor even if the texttab table is filled.
Does anyone know how to display data using this FM ?

you have to pass
I_EDITOR_TYPE
I_EDITOR_KEY
two values in exporting parameter and same value you have to populate in the table parameter.
T_TAB_EDITOR.
i.e.
T_TAB_EDITOR-EDITOR_TYPE should be equal to I_EDITOR_TYPE in exporting parameter and
T_TAB_EDITOR-EDITOR_KEY should be equal to I_EDITOR__KEY in exporting parameter.

Thanks for quick inputs.
And amount is not having any delimitors.
I have checked in table T015Z and it has entries with AR as SPRAS.
All entries are having ':' at the beginning of the arabic words,and there is no single entry with ';'.
All entries with EN as SPRAS are having delimiters ';' at the end of the words.
Numbers are correctly converted to words in english,but abending in arabic.
Any idea please.

Problem in using function module parameters in abap program

i want to use the coding present in on one of the function module 'AS_API_INFOSTRUC_FIND' i got the problem using the function module parameters in my abap program.

You have to declare the table using any specific type.
The type table in the FM is generic so you can pass any type you need.
For instance:

Problem when using function module : SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1

hi,all
when i use this function module to send external email ,a strange problem has been encountered. After executing this FM,i find that the return parameters SY-SUBRC = 0 . but when i use tcode SCOT to check the email in SAP email box,nothing has been found.
could anyone please give me a clue about where the error occur ?

you can try using commit work fter sy-subrc check.
and also Try calling this Function module SO_DEQUEUE_UPDATE_LOCKS
if sy-subrc eq 0.

Problem while creating Function module

Hi All,
I created a TABLE and am using this table in a FUNCTION MODULE as a reference for declaring an internal table in TABLES tab in the function module .
But when i click on the table name its giving an error "TABLES parameters are obsolete! "
Can any one figure out the reasons .....and help me out!!!

Hi Deepika,
Tables option is said to be Obsolete because these days we use internal tables without header line...
Tables Option in FM considers internally that the table name you mentioned is with a header line and the structure of the internal table will be acting as work area.
It is still included in new version because for Upward compatibility...
As we still use the predefine function modules so they should be even compatible with newer versions so its still there..
But for normal practice it can be used but preferably not to use.. rather you use EXPORT parameter and include internal table like field...
Create a structure first and then a Table type which include the previously defined structure in SE11 and the assign the Table type to the field in EXPORT parameter with TYPE..

Problem while copying function modules..

Hi,
I am trying to copy a function module called MRM_ENTRY_ERS to Z function module.
Now the problem is there are 6 performs inside the function module and again in those 6 performs there
are around 10s of performs.
So its really hectic to create includes for form-endform for all of those performs.
Is there a way that when I copy all those form-endform without creating includes for every perform ?
I mean is there some easier way to do it ?

Hi,
I think copy the total Function group MRMN of this FM (MRM_ENTRY_ERS) into new function group like ZMRMN.
Please go to SE80, select function group, enter MRMN, press enter. Select the Function group MRMN, press the right butoon, click copy option, now you enter the new function group like ZMRMN,click copy, then after you select the copy function module(only if you need to Z fm), given the Z FM name and then press copy button, then it copies the function module successfully

Problem when using function module PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT giving dump.

When i am using PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT function module to get HR cluster data. I am getting following dump.
So,can any one help me to solve this issue.I want this function data.

The intenal table which i am passing to the function module will vary. The structure is not constant.
Data is flowing from one table(source table) to another table(Destination table) . In BW if we want to refer the data in source table in START ROUTINE while loading, we use SOURCE_PACKAGE internal table.
1) I am passing Source_package internal table as ITAB_SOURCE_PACKAGE. (this source_package strucute also not canstant, it will vary)
2) passing second internal table as ITAB1, this structure also vary. I will declare this structure before calling the function module.
In Function module Table tab i given as
PARAMETER       TYPE           Associated Type
ITAB1                   LIKE           ANY
ITAB_SOURCE_PACK   LIKE      ANY
In Import tab:
SOURCEINFOOBJECT           pass value
In source code i written as
DATA: WA_SOURCE_PACK like line of ITAB_SOURCE_PACK.
DATA: WA_ITAB1 like line of ITAB1.
LOOP AT ITAB_SOURCE_PACK INTO WA_SOURCE_PACK.
READ TABLE ITAB1 WITH KEY SOURCEINFOOBJECT = WA_SOURCE_PACK-SOURCEINFOOBJECT
INTO WA_ITAB1.
IF SY-SUBRC NE 0.
    WA_ITAB1-SOURCEINFOOBJECT = WA_SOURCE_PACK-SOURCEINFOOBJECT.
    INSERT WA_ITAB1 INTO TABLE ITAB1.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.

While checking i am getting as error
Field "ANY" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tablesnor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement.
For this what i need to do.
As i am not very good in ABAP, pls help me.

Delta Problem while extracting the data by using function module

Hi Experts,
I have extracted the data by using Function module, for delta loads I have given Calday and additive delta in Generic delta settings, in BW side I have initialized the data after that I have given delta update option in infopackage and I made process chain also, every day process chain is running successfully but it is showing zero records, but there is a data in Data source (RSA3), means delta is not working.
What is the problem,
Is there any another settings for delta loads,
Please help me to do this,

Try this delta type :NEW STATUS FOR CHANGED RECORDS.

1. New status for changed Records.
2. Additive delta.
New status for changed records means
New Order
order no quantity
1000 10
order changed to quntity 8. then 2 records will posted 2 BW in first case.
1000 -10
1000 8
if you come to Additve delta.
for the same case it will send the same record as
1000 10
changed records
1000 -2
this is the difference. New status with changed records should be used only in association with ODS not cube becoz we don't have overwrite option.
Additive delta we can use for ODS and Cubes with update mode Addition.

I'm trying to do INIT for Generic Extractor using Function module, but i'm getting error as "Error occurred in the source system"

Problem when Saving Texts using Function Module CREATE_TEXT

Hi All,
I am using Function Module CREATE_TEXT to save text in transaction XK02.
But the first character of few lines disappears in one of (Ruled) editor while that character appears in a new line in another editor.
In debug mode, I found that value of TDFORMAT is '=' in the line in which first character disappears.
while in rest its value is '*'.
I tried hardcoding the value FFORMAT in function module CREATE_TEXT with '*'. Please suggest me solution to this.

Posting a document by using function Module POSTING_INTERFACE_CLEARING

Hi Gurus,
I have a problem while using the function module POSTING_INTERFACE_CLEARING.
My custom code is using the FM POSTING_INTERFACE_CLEARING to clear a document form one GL account and post a document in another GL account.
after the document is posted 2 line items will created in the 2 GL accounts.
But some of the fields are not being populated in the one of the line item for the document created (Reference fields) but the other line item has the reference fields has values being populated.
I am passing the required values in the custom code to this FM.
Please help me in this.

Could you please specify which reference fields are not getting populated?
I think this is the standard behaviour of POSTING_INTERFACE_CLEARING. All the values in the first line item are populated, while in second line item only some of the fields like posting key, account number, account currency, amount, company code and business partner are populated.
If you need to populate other values, I guess you will have to search for some enhancement points inside the FM POSTING_INTERFACE_CLEARING after the 'call transaction' statement.

while you execute the program , a selection screen appears in which the inputs should be give as
RFC destination - The target server name
FTP command- PUT
local file - your file name
local directory - path of your local file
remote file - your target file name
remote directory - where it has to be stored
