Problem whit ovi chat

Hello.
I have a Nokia C3 and I have a problem..
When I try t o conect to ovi chat its says that it cant connect. Code Error "409"
Any one can help me???

Ovi Chat IM Update problem

i received the message about ovi chat ending august 1st from [email protected]
the message contained a link to follow and update to the new terms/new ovi chat
i followed the link but the webpage opened in spanish (i speak english)
i tried from both PC and phone browser but no luck...always shows up in spanish...
can one of the mods/anyone help me to update correctly? thanks

Ovi Chat account unavailable?

I have the Ovi Chat Account configured on my N900. It doesn't work any more since yesterday. Seems to be confirmed by a few other users. Any official statement from Nokia about this? Like "server under maintenance" or thelike?
Or did they simply shut down the service without telling anyone?

Nokia C2-01 IM service contains only ovi chat comm...

I bought a new Nokia C2-01 on 23rd of june this year. I have no other complaints till now but one is that my IM application shows only Ovi chat i've no friends in ovi chat and I want facebook chat in that how can i get it can anyone tell of the way my SW version is 11.20

I also have this problem. When i sign in to ovi community, it says error, visit messaging.nokia.com which is a non-working address. And pressing anything on that bring me back to the sign in screen. This thing needs to be resolved. Help please

C7-00 & Ovi chat (or Nokia chat)

What I can use nokia chat (ovi chat) in my nokia c7-00? Where I can get any soft withOvi chat functionality?

Ovi chat is not available for Symbian3 devices yet and there no information when these services will be available, so wait until Nokia announces anything more regarding Ovi chat.

E5 OVI Chat

Hi,
Small problem. I have an E5-00 and the Chat App shows only OVI Chat.
With the SIM on my old Nokia E75, I get all the communities.
Is it just me or this is a generic problem? What did I do wrong
and/or why can't I connect to Yahoo! IM?
Both phones are not from a carrier.
Also, I have tried with a different SIM from a different carrier. Same thing.

I can confirm what lanselmo said.
At the first run it wanted to update the communities. So I let him.
I have the exact menu the lanselmo have. I can't select communities.
I tried to click update communities/services ( the first option) and let him go through
the carrier internet connection. (also tried with the wap connection)
I only got one community. As I said, the E75 has no problems.
The only one time the E75 did what E5 does, it's when I remove the SIM.
It's like the E5 doesn't identify the newtork/SIM and doesn't wan't to load
the other communities. Hard reset(*#7370#) didn't seem to fixed this.
I only get sign in Ovi Chat or create a new Ovi Account.
(country Romania, SIM tried: Orange two different SIMs, Vodafone one SIM).
I can't select communities, because there's no such option.

P.S.: Why can't I access Yahoo IM without a SIM? If you would like to see the menu I get
just remove the SIM, update the communities and you'll get the menu I have.
I did use the phone, sent SMS to MyNokia, made phone calls, received/sent SMS.
Still, no dice.

OVI Chat Error

I have a problem when I'm adding OVI accounts.. When I add OVI accounts it said that the account cannot be add. I check the OVI account and it is correct. So what is the problem? Can somebody help me..

I believe it would work. Check your connection, Ovi Chat uses the default connection set in Settings / Connection / Destination

OVI chat unavailable

I have tried to chat using the application installed in my E5-00, but since the first day I got the message "Temporal service problem. Retry later (Code920)", and it's the same with Ovi chat, MSN, Yahoo, and Google. I erased the app and reinstaled again, but the same message appears. Any idea on what to do? thanks.

Ovi chat (contact Ovi) nokia C6

Hi I have a problem ovi chat (in contacts) from my nokia C6-00.
just get the first message that is written. if you send multiple messages without responding does not show more. tone sounds only message, but does not display the message.
the phone is updated daily

I am also stuck in the same situation. I keep looking for how to add my yahoo friends and I cannot find instructions. Do I just send an invite from the "add friends" option? That seem a little silly for all my friends to have to do this.

Little problem whit gps

I got a little problem whit my gps.
Yesterday I buy my new nokia e72 + a free navigation.
I also reload my credit to €15.
On the eve I drive whit my car 26km away form home and I also use my gps to know how I have to drive. When I was there I end the navigation and I also call the number to check credit, at that moment I hear that my credit was under €15 so my question is is it normal that I have to pay to use my gps ? Its over €0.80 just to start gps . Is it normal because on ovi gps book stands in big letters ovi gps is totaly FREE . ?
can somebody help me ?

the ovi maps itself is completely free, however, unless you use ovi suite to install the maps you need on your phone, your device has to download all the map data as you drive or walk along, using data, which is not free.
even when you load the maps to your device, you usage of ovi maps will require some data usage to connect to the gps. but it will be GREATLY reduced!
