This browser is really faster and better.
I have a problem when I want to download images: only desktop as location works. Save as... and any other location, nothing happens.
Pentium4 DualCore 3.0 Windows XP Pro

I found that under Windows Vista x64, when downloading extremely large images to view and scrolling at the same time it freezes up. I'm talking about Version 3.02 of Safari.
Also the the maximizing and minimizing in the Areo enviroment of Vista is missing the animation of the expanding and shrinking window.
Also when downloading files to the computer it changes the download name to something like Complete.php and I have to manually change the file name to the original file source name.

Noise Ninja Problem when downloading images from Epson P-3000 hard drive

I've just downloaded JPEG images from my Epson P-3000 hard drive and when I try to sharpen the images using Noise Ninja plug-in in Aperture I get the following error message: Editing Error. I have a set of URL's in a hashtable. Now using the the enumerator, for each URL, I am trying to download the Image. The example for the image URL is something like this:
http://gallery.hd.org/_exhibits/flowers/_more2003/_more09/flower-Holland-Netherlands-RF.jpgI am using ImageIO.read(new URL("URL")) for downloading the image
My problem is, if I get a URL which is broken link like the below exaple
http://www.ossrc.org.in/images/cii-shiksha.jpgmy code is waiting for for the data to come in. The code is hanging there. My code does not terminates but hangs and does not proceed futhur. How to resolve this problem. Please tell me.
Its very urgent plzzzzzzzzz.

Problem downloading images from camera chip

I have attempted to download images from my camera chip on several occasions into Lightroom 5.3 and I get a statement which says "Some import operations were not performed-files are not being read (281). How do I get images imported? This is the first time I have encountered this problem. Suggestions?

Problem with downloading Nikon D-7000 images

I am having problem downloading images from new Nikon D7000 to my iMac to view in iPhoto. No Nikon ikon appears on the desktop. I can view the images on playback in the camera.
Solutions?

A Nikon icon will not appear on the Desktop — that is normal. You should be able to import from within iPhoto (or Aperture). Or you can use Image Capture or Nikon Transfer. But the best way is to use a card reader. That will mount like a disk.

"Problem downloading image" from iPhone

When I connect my iPhone and open iphoto, it lists as "iPad" and when I try to import photos, it says that it cannot because there is a "Problem downloading image." I get an "Import error" when I try importing via Image Capture. I actually removed all the photos from my iPhone, but the same problem occurs. Note: When connected and the preview comes up of the pictures that can be imported, they're all blank (i.e., black "photos" - can't see any preview).
Also restored iPhone, but the same problem occurs.
Can anyone help?

Just by way of update, a camera appears called "iPad" even when I have no devices connected. Reinstalled iPhoto and still have same problem. Also deleted iPhoto .plist files but still have same problem. Thanks.

Problem in downloading RAW images from a Canon 7Dmk2.

I subscribe to Creative Cloud and use LR5. I now have a problem downloading images from my new Canon mk2. I get a message saying that these files are not recognised. I understood that LR5 had been upgrade to cater for this new camera. mike

Updates are not automatic. You need to check the application manager occasionally. If there is an update then that update will be available to install from the application manager. I had to log out of the application manager and log back in before I was able to get the update to 5.7.1. But the curious thing is that Lightroom 5.7 should also open the files from that camera. Have you installed Bridge? What version of Camera Raw are you running in Photoshop? Can you see the images in Bridge if you have updated Camera Raw to 8.7.1?

Where do you see this? What does it look like? Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?
The standard fix suggestion is this:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

Internet Explorer 8.0 did the same thing. This was one of the reasons why I started using Firefox to download all images. I went into Tools>Options and it only lets me set another folder. I dont want to set a specific folder I want it to always go to the last folder used. So what gives?

Thanks jscher 2000. I guess I didn't make it clear. "It restarts with all the addons activated, and resumes with the tabs that were open before closing it." IE, it's running fine now with all the extensions activated. Everything is OK now.
So something in the Firefox code was causing the bad behavior. It's not essential that I find out what the problem was - I'm just curious. And if anybody else has this same problem, it might be nice to have it corrected at the source.

I created a new profile in Windows and that worked for about 2 months and now that has gone the same way as my admin profile has done. I deleted the sqlite download file-still same prob..Please help. That sounds very frustrating.
By the way, does it say "Download image" or "Save Image As"? Just checking whether you have an add-on downloader in the mix that might be relevant. If you do have an add-on, try using the built-in command.
Do you also crash if you save from here:
right-click page > View Page Info > Media tab > (select image) > Save As
I assume you have seen this article and tried these things: [[What to do if you can't download or save files]].
Have you tried the new Reset feature in Firefox 13? This duplicates certain key data from your active settings folder into a new one, bypassing some add-ons and custom settings. Your plugins will still be active, but could be disabled manually if you like.

If the new settings folder has the same problem, you can switch back if you like using Firefox's Profile Manager.

Outlook 2010 user not able to download images

I have a user that claims he was able to receive email from a certain sender and was able to click download images and everything worked fine. He said that one day he click something in the download images area and wasn't paying attention and now
he can no longer download images from this sender. The messages up top says "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view in a web browser" When I click it view in browser is the only option (the message looks fine
in the browser). The images below are blank but show "The linked image cannot be displayed. The" and the rest of the message is cut off. I can not find any settings showing that anything is blocked. I have tried giving him a new profile
and uninstalling and reinstalling office. I checked for blocked user and added this sender to the safe sender list. I also tried clearing and moving his temp folder. All other senders the images work properly. When I receive
images from this sender it works properly. I feel a setting was changed for his account in Exchange. We are running Exchange 2007. Has anyone faced this problem and know how to fix it?

Can he see the images in OWA?
As Fred says, have him try another PC as well.

Problem in loading images when i am connected on company network

Hi friends, I am using firefox since last 4 months on my windows 8 pro laptop.but since last month I am facing problem in loading images when i am connected on company network but same time it is working fine with ie10. But all these thinks are working well at my home when I am using broadband.

I don't completely understand your issue. Does this issue occur on 1 network and does not occur on another? Have you tried clearing cache and cookies and making sure your plugins are up to date?
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Downloaded images to IPAD become black and white

After updating to the lates version of IOS downloading images from the computer many turned out black and white. Never had this problem before.
