i have a problem wiht my parental setting i put a password but now i forgot and im using a guest account and i cant change the settings in the parental controls casue i dont know the password how do i fix it ???

You can use the install DVD to reset the password, repair the disk and repair permissions. If you don't have the install DVD you could try the following.
Print the following and then follow these instructions very carefully - at each stage wait for processes to complete - spaces are important:
1 - shutdown
2 - start in single user mode by holding command (Apple key) and S while it starts
3 - type the following and hit the return key to repair the disk
/sbin/fsck -fy
4 - type the following and hit the return key
/sbin/mount -uw /
5 - type the following and hit the return key
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
5 - type the following and hit the return key
shutdown -h now
6 - start the Mac
7 - The above tricks the Mac into thinking it is starting for the first time. Follow the various processes as normal but DO NOT use a user-name that has been used on the Mac before - if you do it will erase the original account. It will set up a new admin account without removing existing accounts with different names.
8 - Use the new admin account
9 - If necessary enable the root user (see Mac help) to reset passwords on other accounts.

I had to reset my IPhone device to the factory setting, but when I wanted to start using the IPhone, it requires the original Apple ID which I do not recall the password. I tried to reset the password by receiving it through my Yahoo account (Apple ID) I found out that the email has been disabled due to the long period I didn't use it and can not be recovered moreover I do not remember the answers to the security questions.
I need help on how to reset my Apple ID password as I cant not use my IPhone any more.

Problem refreshing the parent page when closing a modal window.

I have page that opens a modal window from a report link column. In the modal window I want to be able to make my changes and press an Apply button so that the modal window is closed and the parent page is refreshed to show the modified details in the report. In Firefox all works well but in IE I get the error message ‘Window.opener.location is null or not an object’ .
When I comment out window.opener.location.href=window.opener.location.href; the modal window closes without error but I want to refresh the parent page with changes made in the modal window.
I’m afraid my java script is very limited (the code is based on other peoples examples.)

Thanks for your help. I think I've sorted it using your first suggestion doing a refresh in the parent page, I just didn't know how at the time.
What I've got in the parent window after the call to the modal window is the reload window.location.reload(); and in the modal window I close it using window.close(); The down side being the refresh happens if I use my 'Apply changes' or 'Cancel' button but I can live with that for now.
It seems to work in IE and firefox but as I say most of what I'm doing is cobbling together using other peoples code without really understanding exactly what it does. Anyway thanks for your help, sound like I should look into JQUERY when I have time.

Nope. Turns out that even though I have two Macs running 10.9.4, the one in question doesn't get the SMTP settings changed by iCloud settings when the password is changed, so I had to "Edit" the account in Mail, plow down to the password settings for the Apple SMTP server, and change the password myself. Nothing in the System Preferences iCloud setting tab lets you change any settings on the local machine. Apple is sure they are controlling everything when you make changes in iCloud, but they are wrong. Identical versions of 10.9.4 are configured differently on two different Macs.

Problem wiht the old Sound Blaster 128

i playing Computergames and i use some Voicetools to talk to my mates. Sometimes i got the problem that my Sound starting to hissing. It is when i am starting a Game or ICQ. After the ICQ Sound comes it start to hissing.

PS: I have allready isntalled the latest driver or reisntalled the Sound Card

The only thing I think that works with XP is the driver that XP comes with, and that should have been installed automatically when XP detected the card.
Make sure that if you have on-board audio you have gone into your BIOS and disabled it. Also, you might try setting your slots manually and choosing to set PCI IRQ 5 for legacy ISA device. Leave the other slots on auto, if that's possible.
Remove the card from Device Manager and reboot into your BIOS before doing that stuff. Then Windows might detect and install the driver properly. Lots of folks use that old card with XP and it works. Not as well as a PCI card, but thems the breaks. If you're doing this to get better DosGame sound, yeah, you will now have an FM chip so the built-in Dos sound emulater will now give you FM sound. But it still sounds like crap. You're better off with a new PCI audio card and vdmsound and Dosbox for your old dos games.Message Edited by Eck on 0-02-2005 2:46 AM

Since updating to ios7 i keep getting requests to enter my password for yahoo mail, my email account, and the itunes account details too. The email is connected though and i have no problem receiving new emails. Any ideas ?

...I am also concerned as I found an email in my sent items today to someone i have never heard of before....saying hello. I suspect this might mean the problem is the yahoo account maybe hacked but I have no idea....thanks, Stewart

It sounds as if your account has been compromised. I would recommend logging into those accounts from your computer and their websites and changing your password.

Parent account on historical pipeline analysis

I've a little problem with Oracle CRM on Demand Answers: When I use the subject area "historical pipeline" analysis I do not have acces to the parent account. There is an account area in which I have tons of fields but not the parent account.
So is there any possibility to get this field in the report. Unfortunately I cannot pass by another subject area.
My solution:
I create a report on another subjectarea which lists all parents and children. And then do a case statement to get all lines in which the parent account is empty. I suppose them to be the right parents.
My report on the historical pipeline I'll filter on the criteria of this first report.
So I have only the parent accounts.
Unfortunately I do not have the indirect grandchilden included with this solution. And it's pretty static. But I'd like to have a prompt with which I can filter the report or not on the parent account.
Any solutions ? :)

Generally the trial balance summary report does not fetch the parent account details.
In my customized report , i need to get the detials of the current accounts as well as the details (initial balance,debit,credit ) for a particular period of the parent account as well.

Sorting the respective account number at the top

I have list of account numbers , say 5 account numbers (2300,5200,7689,1234,4566) from which I found which is the parent acct number by invoking a query. Here the parent acct number is say "1234". Now i need to make sure that parent acct number records should always display at the top part of the screen followed by other child acct numbers displayed in ascending order. Here my question is, having found the parent acct no (1234) , how I can make sure this will be displayed at the top. Because the final list contains other acct numbers as well. Using comparator is a pbm. as i cannot pass the parent acct no to the compare() method to display this at the top. I want to do this in a single final list itself which contains all the acct number details. How to go about this? Please shed some light into this.

You're required to return a negative number, positive number or 0. Everything after the first line above is useless.

How to calculate those totals depends of where you can store them. For example, if intersection of P_ACCT = RULE1, P_DATASRC = MANUAL, P_ACTIVITY = A005, CATEGORY = FORECAST, PRODUCT = BAS(TOTPRODUCT) stores no data you can store those totals there by the following script:

If that region is taken by some data you can try finding another intersection or add a new member to some Dimension and store those totals using that new member.

Get parent Account Details

I want to create a new field on the account object. This new field should be automatically populated based on the parent account I choose. This functionality is similar to a pick map functionality in Siebel Enterprise.
I understand that there is a functionality by which we can do this sort of look up by creating a report and then using javascript function to do a look up.
I would appreciate if somebody could let me know which is the best way to achieve this functionality. If it is by using javascript can somebody send me some examples.

Problem with the function module SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1

I am facing the problem wiht the function module SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1,
My actull requirement is : - i need to send the sap data to my externa mail id (Like as XYZ@) with out the any attachment , So i have implemented the code with the function module SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.
The mail has successfully sent the sap inbox (SOST) but the mail are not reached to the external mail ID'S( XYZ@GMAIL)
i Have maintained my code lines same as below.

                  If u r able to see the mail in sost, then i think ur code has worked fine. if the mail is not going to outside domains from sost u need to do some configurations for that, u can find lots of configuration docs regarding mail setup in sap.
once try to pass below parameter also.
t_receivers1-rec_type = 'U'.
For configuring mail setup u need to sit with ur basis guy.

Assigning tasks to sub-accounts of parent accounts

Background:
We have a group that manages strategic accounts (which in the system are parent accounts of other accounts) that want to be able to assign a task to the parent account and have all of the sub-accounts automatically assigned the same tasks.
Is this possible? How would it be done?
If workflow is the answer, what record type would the workflow be based off?
How would an expression be built to assign the task to all of the sub-accounts?

I understand the suggestion about exposing the activity records of the parent account in the UI, but the desired outcome would be to have a notification sent out to the reps responsible for the sub-accounts that there were new activities assigned to their account.
It is safe to say that there is currently NO WAY to do this (activity creation at sub-accounts when an activity is created at the parent account) today in OnDemand?
