Problem with 0014 entry

Hi,
I am having some problem with the entry in 0014. system is not permitting me to enter payment model and interval details
I have defined payment model and periodicity in IMG and also i have defined MODDE. But when i am entering the details (payment model, payment period and intervel) in 0014 it is not accepting.
I appreciate your support.
I have checked t512z and the permissibility is for several times.
as per the requirement, we have to pay x amount to employees on quarterly basis.

Problem with Variable Entry Screen

Hello All,
We upgraded our development systems to NW2004s and came across the following issue:
All our Bex queries have restricted time characteristics with variables entries. When we execute a query it should pop-up the variable selection screen for us to enter the restriction values but the query is ignoring Variable restriction screen and taking into consideration everything. The same query works fine in Prod., which is still in 3.1.
Did anyone come across this situation kind of situation? It did not pop-up any type of error and we are in SPS10

We fixed the "Variable Screen not appearing" problem by adding following objects to our users.
1) Business Explorer - BEx Web Templates (NW 7.0+) S_RS_BTMP
2) Business Explorer - Individual Tools S_RS_TOOLS
3) Business Explorer - Data Access Services S_RS_DAS

Problem with quick entry autofill for Things application

I use Firefox as my standard browser and the application Things for my task management. Until recently I could easily use the quick entry autofill function (ctrl alt space) to copy a link to a task in Things. This suddenly stopped working. I contacted Things support, thinking it was a problem with their application, but it appears Firefox is the culprit (that was found in the output from my Mac's console and I also found that in Safari the shortkey still works). I am updated to the latest version and would really like to keep using Firefox.
This was the output from my Mac's console:

The bug I found about Apple Script changing the read/write permissions of api was a dead end and looks like it is till waiting to be worked on [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=608049]
I am sorry I do not have any updates on this issue at this time.

Problems with Calender Entries from Exchange Server

I think this just started on Friday or Saturday--
I opened my calender on my iPhone and it seemed a little empty. I noticed that a couple of appointments that I know should be there are not. I restarted the iPhone thinking there was some kind of transient glitch and some (not all) of my missing items appeared. Then disappeared. Then appeared. Then disappeared. Then they stayed gone. Every time I open my calender now, that happens.
It seems that the items that stay put are the ones that I put directly into my iPhone. Many others come and go, and some never show up at all.
Thankfully, my Outlook calender seems to be in good shape, although the new items I have put into my phone since Saturday have not synced.
And my contacts sync with no problem, too. It's just the calender. Any help would be appreciated.

We have a similar problem with one VP's iPhone in our environment. Did some testing today and discovered the following:
* When an appointment is sent to the VP and he accepts the appointment from his iPhone, all seems well, meaning that the appointment is visible both on his computer's Outlook and on his iPhone calendar.
* When an appointment is sent to the VP and he accepts it from his computer's Outlook, it still appears as a "new invitation" on his iPhone and, if he does not respond right away from his iPhone, that appointment disappears from his iPhone. It remains on his Outlook calendar. These missing appointments on his iPhone cause scheduling problems for us, as you can imagine!
So, my question is: how must one handle Outlook appointment schedule acceptance? Further complicating our situation is that this VP has a delegate who accepts appointments on his behalf. We're never quite confident whether his iPhone accurately reflects his actual appointment schedule.

I assigned CVR parameter to this profile
Now in ESS i see the data entry section as
<b>A1 A2 A3 A4 Mon Tue Wed ......Sat Sun</b>
The order of the fields is getting sorted.
Is it anything to do with the settings you referred earlier?

Problem with No entry in table T591B for 0015 08 E101

Hi all,
This is our first year using SAP and we're approaching our first Year End and so want to make the E Wage Types available for us in IT0015, E121 is already OK and I can enter data in IT0015 for that WT no problem. I've added WT E101 to the 0015 Additional Payments in the IMG and it shows as being allowed for IT0015, this has created entries in the Permissability, etc. in the IMG and I've updated permisability for the ESG to allow for all ESG / PS, etc. - so all looks fine when I work through the steps for Additional Payments in the IMG, but when I try to save E101 in IT0015 I get a message about 'No entry in table T591B for 0015 08 E101' .
When I look at this table it's called 'WT dependent retroactive accounting trigger' and I've not seen it before despite setting up many Wage Types and I can see E121 is in this table but E101 isn't - but I can't see how I can add or copy anything in this table - there are no options. So I'm assuming this is usually auto updated by creating an entry in another table but I have no idea how to find where and can't find any documentation or other forum messages for this table.
Has anyone else come accross this before or know anything about this table - has anyone else had trouble when wanting to allow E Wage Types to be used for Year End adjustments?

Olnly wt configured to be permissibled on a few infotypes (e.g. 0014, 0015, 0267) would need to be configured in V_T591B. The purpose of this is to control whether these wt are allowed to be changed after payroll is already run for the ee.
All you need to do is maintain this entry through view V_T591B - add entry for wt 'E101' for infotype 0015 / country '08'. The indicator (V5591B-ABWRU) can be '' (allow change to wt after proll is run), 'X' (warning if change after proll is run), 'E' (hard-error if change after payroll is run) .

Problems with adressbook entries

First of all, i am using iMS 5.0 patch 3.... there are two different languages availables for the users. When i logon with the first and i add a entry in the personal adressbook, if i change the language settings to the other, then i can not see the name and surname of the new adressbook entry.... only the mail.
I have seen that the pab entries in the LDAP are like this:
un: XXXXXXXX
mail: [email protected]
cn;lang-en: XXXXXX
sn;lang-en: XXXXXX
givenname-en: XXXXXX
and if i add the entry in the other language:
un: XXXXXXXX
mail: [email protected]
cn;lang-fr: XXXXXX
sn;lang-fr: XXXXXX
givenname;lang-fr: XXXXXX
I thing that the "lang-XX" word after the "cn", "sn", "givenname" attributes is the problem.... anyone can help me on how can one user see the entries with the two language interfaces? Where can i change the ldap filter for the search?

Messaging Server 5.0 is End Of Support Life. I STRONGLY suggest that you upgrade to 5.2, just as quickly as possible.
The language mechanism you're looking for is not actually there. Webmail/Delegated Admin uses the language tags for vacation mail. Versions previous to 5.0 did not. anything you find without a language tag is not used, unless there are no language-tagged versions to use.

I continue to have problems with text entry with Android 4.1.2 -- Any word on an update?

When my phone (Droid 4: I like the physical keyboard, which seems to be going the way of the dodo) was upgraded to 4.1.2 a while back, the following happened:
-- Spell check disappeared from text entry using any browser;
-- Auto-complete started losing track of where I was in a sentence, so hitting backspace deleted entire words instead of the last character typed;
-- The Swype keyboard ceased to function.
As a result, I had to give up on many of the spell-check features and give up on the Swype keyboard.
I'm really hoping that an update is forthcoming, and further, that it will fix the issues with the last one.
Anyone have any idea?

I have not installed any third party messaging apps or keyboard functionality apps, at least not intentionally. I rebooted in Safe Mode and all symptoms are the same. I tested it by going to Google Translate, which has a web input window. Spell check was inactive, Swype was capitalizing every word, making it basically useless.
A symptom that I failed to mention continues to be present in Safe Mode also – when hitting the shift key and backspacing, the selected text is not highlighted, so I basically have to guess what I’ve selected, and only find out if I’m right once I hit backspace or start typing in replacement text.
Spell check was inactive in third party applications also, for example Quick Office. It did show up in Gmail. I was unable to duplicate any application getting lost in terms of where the cursor is so that I deleted the wrong text; however, this is an intermittent problem, so I would probably have to do a lot of typing, etc., to duplicate it. However, I have seen other posts complaining about phone behavior very similar to what I reported.
Bottom line – The phone acted precisely the same in Safe Mode as it did outside of Safe Mode.

Problem with duplicate entries in a structure.

I am creating a custom structure by including 2 structures in it as DRSEG and COBL_MRM_D.
Now both the structures have many common fields and hence it gives an error on check.
Is there any workaround to create the structure in DDIC by including both the above structures.
Pls help with your ideas.

Create a DDIC structure which has all the common fields. Include this structure only once .
Then include the fields which are not common from both the structure into the created structure . so that no duplicates entries are present
OR
Include the first structure then dont include the second structure include only the fields which are not common to both . this also eliminates the duplicates

Have problem with Dictionary entries.

When I type a word in Dictionary - intergrated software in Tiger,
The entries are shown with broken fonts. They might be messed up with wrong encoding, I think.
I use Korean for my system language and I changed that to English but it doesn't work for that. I look into the Dictionary.app and noticed the application is kind of css + xml thing. So I changed the default encoding of Safari to UTF-8
but it doesn't work, too.
What's wrong with the application?

Problem with 'Advance' entry

Griends,
I am getting this strange problem. Does it happens with you also? Any solution..
The problem is as follows;
1. Transaction PR05
2. Enter only advance and save it with status Request Recorded/To Be Settled.
3. OPen the trip again, Simulate, the advance is visiable.
4. Click the 'Advance' tab.
5. As soon as you open the advance tab, the advance amount is grayed out (disabled)
6. Simulate now and the advance is shown as 0.
You see, only clickig the 'Advance' tab cause the adance to be ignored.

The poblem is solved now. Actually the problem was due the field 'Settlement amount' in Advance tab, which I made hidden. Upon clicking the 'Advance' tab, the system was moving 0 to this field. When I made this field visiable (still no input allowed), it started getting the corect valuse. I still feel it's a bug. Even if the field is not visible, it should contain coect value.

Problem with Text Entry BoX in Adobe Captivate 6

I could not enter correct responses for my text entry box. Plus, the "success" and " failure" options were greyed out for me under properties>options.
I notice my icon is IAB for text entry box, whereas some users have a placeholder sign for the icon.

This is very strange, even when not validated you should have at least the Success option in the Properties panel. If it is not validated you are left only with the Success event, that can fire an action when the Submit button for the TEB is pressed (or the shortcut key is used). You cannot be working on a master slide, because it is not possible to insert a TEB there. Please, post a screenshot of the stage with the properties panel, actions accordion.

I have a RFC to SOAP scenario wich uses a certicate X.509. I import the certificate in Visual Admin in Key Storage node following this steps:

Page Indent problem with TOC entries...

I have a few TOC entries running to more than one line. I would like the text to be indented from the existing right indent/margin set-up so that the text does not extend as far as the Page numbers on the right hand margin of the TOC text frame. I have set a right tab so that the page numbers are tabbed over to the right edge of the frame but if I bring the right margin in with more indenting (presently 5mm), I can't have a tab stop for the page outside the right margin.
And if I insert soft-returns/new-line chars they wil get lost every time I rebuild the TOC (there will be a lot of that!)
Any ideas, Im sure this comes up for book designers all the time.

The same way you have a left first line indent, there is a right last line indent. You can set the right indent to (for example) two inches, and the last line right indent to negative two inches, and everything on a single line will go all the way to the right edge of the frame, and any paragraph that requires line breaks will break two inches to the left of the frame's right edge, while the last line will go to the right edge.
