Problem with Activating char InfoObject

Hi ,
Due to one transport One InfoObject(Master Data) is Inactivated in quality. I tried to activate this InfoObject manually and by using RSDG_IOBJ_ACTIVATE function module. But it is not activating & I am getting the error message like
1. Master data table is contains data
2. SID table is containing the data
So please let me know with out deleting the above data how can I activate that Infoobject.

basically, this happens if a object has been deleted from the attributes or the data type has changed or the field length was decreased and the object contains data in the target system. So follow Eugene's instruction. Compare the objects. Another option might be the deletion of the master data of the object. But this is only possible if the data of all dataproviders that contain the object will be deleted too.

Are you really having this problem with activation, or are you having it after activation when you try to read a book?
If it is for a specific book ...
If it is a loan check it hasn't really expired.
Then verify that ADE and any devices are set to correct time and timezone.
If it is for registration ...
Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).

In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people. Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. You should be able to link your phone number by following the steps in the article below. From your iPhone, sign out of FaceTime and iMessage and then sign back in and it should link. Check in the Start Conversation With and I Can Be Reached at section in iMessage and FaceTime respectively.

Take it back to the Apple store. You can't activate it without the correct ID and password. This can't be disabled. Either get a replacement or get your money back.

Problem with active noise cancellation function : ...

My nokia 6720 have problem with active noise cancellation function. It seem not working because it also have noise when this function is active. So, I try to disable this function and found that the noise is reduce (but still not clear). How do I correct this problem?

At first glance I would say "probably can be done using an FPGA as a target" since the FPGA can close a very fast loop.
But to do that with a microphone input on a PC running Windows...
I suspect that would be an exercise in futility.
Anyone out there been able to turn around a microphone input fast enough to something like this?

I have 2 instance TT on host1 and host2
On host1 i created 2 data store rep1 and rep2
On host2 i created 1 data store t1
ALL data stores identical, and have one table REP_TAB.
AFter this i work with rep1 ds:
Creating active standby pair:
create active standby pair rep1 on "host1",
t1 on "host2"
subscriber rep2 on "host1"

Did you enable Access Control in this instance when you installed? If so, have you created the relevant users in the TimesTen instance?
If you have access to Metalink you may find Note 421220.1 useful in clarifying this process, and also for avoiding other problems you may encounter after performing a successful duplicate.

Problems with activity reports on Enterprise Portal

Hello, we have problems with activity reports on Enterprise Portal. It shows only zeros since certain date.
We have this error in monitoring of Activity Reports - Status of Activity Reporting: "The database contains non-aggregated data that is more than 2 hours old".
And we found this exception in logs: "Exception during a Prepared-statement DB update"
What could be a problem? What should we do?

Problem with activating characteristic: KEA5 KEA0

Hi Gurus,
I had to create PAPH1/2/3/4 (I didn't have, strange). I had no problem with this During creation I give MVKE and the appropriate fields and PAPH1/2/3/4 have been created and activated.
However, in KEA0 I can't pull PAPH3 to my Operating Concern - it is still green.
I've checked the log and there was only message about field lenght that PAPH3 could'n been activated since the des cription in the medium field was longer than 15, that's fine I remember I shortened and I could activate PAPH3.
Now it is active but not assiged and I couldn't assign in KEA0.
Any helps kindly accepted

ps. I posted in ke21n some value on PAPH1, then tried in KE28 distribute down to products. Got green light, looked in the log, there was 1 sender and 4 receiver but I could see no line items in ke24.

1. in KEA0 - Data Structure: Click on Change view..... If PAPH3 is appearing in the list on right side, double click on it and Edit its description if required.. You may need to unlock fields In Extras > Chars > Unlock, incase system does not allow to change that
2. Once you do this, activate PAPH3.. and push it from right to left... Just ensure that you have not exceeded the permitted no of chars.. You can check it via Menu Extras > Tech Limits...
Just check and confirm what is the behaviour...

Problem with activating ODS object.

Hi experts,
I've got a problem with the activation of an ODS object. I've transported this single object from T to A system. First I got an error because one InfoObject was not yet transported to A. After I succesfully transported this InfoObjec, I tried to transport the ODS object again. But now the ODS object is not activated. I cannot activate it by hand also.
The following messages appear when I try to transport/activate this ODS object:
"No active nametab exists for /BIC/AZODEFOP50>"
"Termination due to inconsistencies"
"BIC/ZODEFOP00 (statements could not be generated)"
"Tabel /BIC/AZODEFOP50 could not be activated"
Does anybody know what is wrong and how i can solve it? I've tried to transport this ODS object several times but always the same problem. Even if I try to create this ODS object in A system by hand under the same name: ZODEFOP, I get the same errors when I want to activate it.
Please help me!

Hi,
Make sure that the self system is in active form in RSA1->Source system tree.
And also make sure the RFC destination to self system is in active form.
Some times self sytem inactive or wrong path in destinations to self one creates the problem in the activation of ODS.Becuse it has to create a DS on ODS.

Problem with activation of Master Data 0UCINSTALLA

I'm working on a BW 3.5.
I have a problem with the activation of master data of one Infoobject. When I try to activate the data SAP gives me the message that all the data is active. But when I try to change something on the infoobject I get the error message:
Characteristic 0UCINSTALLA: Master data has to be activated before conversion.
So I have a small problem as you can see. When I try to activate something SAP says that it is active and when I try to change something in the infoobject SAP says it is not active.
When I do my check in RSRV of my infoobject I get the following error messages:
Characteristic 0UCINSTALLA: 79.579 values from table /BI0/SUCINSTALLA do not exist in table /BI0/QUCINSTALLA
Characteristic 0UCINSTALLA: 79.579 values from table /BI0/PUCINSTALLA do not exist in table /BI0/QUCINSTALLA
Characteristic 0UCINSTALLA: Chain of active intervals: 81.858 gaps (show max. 50):
When I ask that he corrects these errors SAP suggest to rebuild the X and Y tables. After rebuilding the error still exists.
Also with SE14 when I do the convertion of the tables (forced and not forced ) the error still occurs.
Does anybody have any idea? Any suggestion is welcome.

We are experiencing the same issue and it is mentioned in OSS Note 657467. Looks like there is a bug and depending on which version and support pack you are using, you may have to go to upgrade to a newer support pack.
I am just curious to know which version and support pack you are at.
