Problem with activating music subscription

I bought an AT&T Lumia 920 in US and I'm now living in China. I found the awesome unlimited music download feature of the phone not until recently. But I am having trouble activating it. I phoned Nokia US and they told me it's because I'm in China. The IP address isn't allowed. Now I'm DESPERATE looking for ways to activate it! Windows Phone 8 doesn't support VPN so I can't get a US IP on my phone. It's one of the best things of a Lumia, don't ruin it for me! I can give you my IMEI number and my Nokia account, would someone PLEASE help me?

Nokia Music Unlimited is only available in 3 countries: China, Indonesia and India. Here's a detailed explanation for this:
It is not the case that all phones of a particular model in the world have the exactly same software, each has a product code which identifies it as belonging to a particular country and may have certain customised features and/or apps included as part of the software to suit local market conditions and needs.
There are two ways in which Nokia Music Unlimited can be available to a particular phone:
It is provisioned in the factory when the phone is manufactured, which is what happens in the majority of cases and is true of Lumia 710, 800 and 900 models being produced for the Indian market with the latest software already installed.
It is added to the phone as part of a software update, as was the case with Indian Lumia 710 and 800 models with the latest update.
Nokia Music services are limited to specific countries due to the licensing agreements that exist with the record companies who own the rights to the music. For this reason, only phones manufactured for sale in India are factory-provisioned for Nokia Music India services, and only Indian product codes were provisioned for Indian Nokia Music Unlimited services as part of the recent update.
Buying a phone abroad sometimes gives you the advantage of having a particular model before others in your country, but buying a phone at home ensures that you are able to take advantage of special services intended for your home market, like Nokia Music Unlimited in India, and also ensures that you have full warranty support in your home country. - michaels

I own an iPhone 4s and I have recently come across a problem with syncing music to my phone. Whenever I try to sync it, nine or ten songs get synced then the sync cancels. It only syncs the first song on each album but not for all of them, some of the albums don't sync at all. I have been dealing with this problem for a while. Well, the fact is, you have a carrier locked iPhone...locked to Verizon, to be specific. The only way that phone will work is if it is first activated on Verizon's network. Once you do that, you can then request that Verizon unlock the sim slot. However, once Verizon unlocks the sim slot, I doubt you'll be able to get the phone to work with any GSM carrier in the US. The unlocking of the sim slot is done for International travel outside of the US.
If you want to use Straight Talk, your best bet is to sell this phone & use the proceeds to purchase an officially unlocked iPhone 4S directly from Apple.

Yoga Tablet 10" - update to Android 4.4 and further problems with Google Music

Hi everyone.
I've just upadated my Yoga Tablet 10" to Android 4.4. Whole process went smoothly but afterwards I'm experiencing some problems with Google Music. Playback is "skippy" or "choppy", even if whole song is downloaded. Every 15-25 seconds there small pause, which is quite annoying.
Local music files (uploaded through usb) seem to work just fine.
I've even tried resetting whole device to factory settings but without any success.
I also have an impression that youtube playback is not so smooth as it used to be in Android 4.2...
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any hints or sollutions?

WMA files are 'window media audio' files, which is a Microsoft format. If you want to add them to your iTunes library on your Mac then you will need to convert them into a compatible format first. I am still having problems with my music videos freezing (all purchased from iTunes) since the update. Have restarted, rebooted etc. and it is worse than before. Help! Spent a lot of money on these and they won't play properly.

As for question #2, you call tell how iTunes is sorting songs by the up or down arrow next to a header name.
Even the original order that the songs were entered or date added or last played can be sorted.
Much easier with a mouse or touch pad.

Are you really having this problem with activation, or are you having it after activation when you try to read a book?
If it is for a specific book ...
If it is a loan check it hasn't really expired.
Then verify that ADE and any devices are set to correct time and timezone.
If it is for registration ...
Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.
In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people. Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. I have a problem with trasferring music from Itunes to Iphone and that is,
as soon as I finish transferring music to my Iphone, Itunes suddenly stops at the stage of where it says (at the top-centre of the screen), 'Sync Min's Iphone'.
Due to this reason, I've restored my Iphone a couple of times and reinstalled itunes but same problem occurs whenever I try to transfer music.
It appears music are successfully transfered since I could play the music on my Iphone but I wanna fix the problem since it's pretty annoying.
is there anything I can do about it?

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes (8.2.1?). If so, I'd reinstall iTunes, if the phone is otherwise working fine.

I am having the same problem however i get a error 13001 message and my itunes says that there is music in my iphone but there really isnt.. any one have a solution???

Problem with iTunes Music Playback

Hi, I like using itunes but im having a problem with the music playback. If i have just itunes running and some background programs i.e. anti-virus playback of music is fine but I want to be able to surf the web, and play my games while listening to music. However when i try to so this the sound becomes muffled, choppy and can skip and slow down all in all its impossible to listen to. I thought this may be a problem with my PC but its not a slow one. I tried Windows Media Player and while browsing the net, playing my games etc playback was perfect. Also ive done everything on this page> http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93610 but still had no luck. Now i will use media play if i have to much i much prefer itunes ans it has all my libary sorted out. Any help would be brilliant.

Even though you LOVE iTunes, there are many other programs out there that don't require extra software to be installed for it to function....there by freeing up your CPU to run more programs.
I would seriously look into trying something different that doesn't need to hog so much system resources....until they reduce their program's needs.
Try something like Winamp or Musicmatch Jukebox.
You can have your library to show up pretty much the same way that they do in iTunes. You'll just have to read through the user guides to get it exactly the way you want it.

You should be able to link your phone number by following the steps in the article below. From your iPhone, sign out of FaceTime and iMessage and then sign back in and it should link. Check in the Start Conversation With and I Can Be Reached at section in iMessage and FaceTime respectively.

Having problems with my music player on my iPad with the new io7

Downloaded the new io7 on my iPad mini. Now I have problems with the music player not letting me download songs onto my iPad, then closing out the app. Then on iTunes it shows up in the downloads tab and comes up as an error and still won't download. At this point I'd rather have the old io6. Any info would be helpful. Thanks
