Problem with Add rules

When I try to add rules in the sensor edge server, I get the gollowing error when I open the rules.jsp page. Any help will be highly apprecited.

Hi Anita,
the scenario you explained is used quite often and I never heard about such a behaviour. Update rules are processed with every load to a dataprovider. Did you check wether you have some restictions in your infopackage while loading both provider or not? Are you really loading into the providers and not only to psa? Check you infopackage again. Are you loading via process chain? May be you missed to add the process for loading from psa to datatargets. Please check you chain in this case too.

Problem with Business Rules in OBPM 10.3.1 Enterprise for WebLogic

We're having a problem with our Business Rules. We've updated two of our business rules (that are used by business rule transitions) in Studio; however, when we publish the updated process, the business rules are not updated. We cannot find anywhere in the Process Admin where to administer the rules to make sure they're overwritten.
I've double checked, and the updated rule code is in the .project.xpdl, but for whatever reason, the rules are not being updated during the deployment. I'm sure that we've done this many times in the past, but for some reason, now it is not working.
We're tried variations of the different versioning when we publish, and we've also tried to unpublish all of the older versions of our process, but it does not change the business rules. We can try to unpublish and undeploy, but it seems like we would lose all old instances of that process that are still running if we did that.
Has anyone ever had this issue, or know if there is a way to effect the business rules via the process admin?

I see what you're saying, but here's why it works the way you're observing it.
Once deployed, the 10g business rules are edited by a business user (the owner of the rule). Changes in Studio that a developer makes to a business rule don't override the changes that the business user made.
To let the business owner edit the rule, add a Global Interactive activity and change its property setting to edit the business rule. Put this activity in the role for the business owner (the person you want to edit the rule).

Problem with scrambling rules

Good afternoon, I have a problem with the conversion rules, when I transfer the employee does not take into account any of the scrambling rules, those made by me and with the rules that I copied by CNV_TDMS_HCM_SCRAM transaction. I understand that this conversion is performed in the task to prepare data transfer. Someone can give me an idea that I may fail to do. Somebody has documentation of Scrambling rules? Select the "Get from client 000" checkbox .
You can use a description prefix, for example SAP_, to easily identify elements. For
example, if you use this prefix and the name of a scramble group in the template is

in add-on mode into an existing project, because it helps you to determine what was new
from this copy.
Then I tried to use this scrambling rules copied, but They doesn´t work.

Having a problem with Add-ons I did not install and now can't uninstall.

Lately I have experienced problems with re-directing and other issues with Mozilla. I looked in my add-ons list and there are several things there that i did not add manually. (I have been having much trouble with ITunes and noticed a plug in in mozilla and want to know if it is necessary.) Is there a way to keep this from happening? I have been using mozilla for years and liked it when I could do a basic install without any add-ons that I did not request. Here is a list of the things that are troubling me - I am sure a few may be necessary. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me with this?

Weird Problem with Add Row Button in Master Detail Page

I have a page that was created with a Master Detail Wizard. When I click the Add Row button on our Production Environment, the row counter increments BUT no blank row shows on the screen.
In our Development Environment, when I click the Add Row button, a blank row appears as expected. Thinking there was some problem with the production app, I exported the Dev version and imported into Production. Still no blank row.
Thinking perhaps it had something to do with the data, I copied our production application data back into the development application tables. Still, the development app creates the blank row where the production version does not.
I even used the same browser window for both environments and still get the same results. This was working fine in production then just stopped one day.
The only clue I have is that the Add Row WILL work if the Master Record has no details or less than a page worth. It seems to happen when the detail records are more than one page worth. Also, when I click the Add Row button, it goes to the last page of the list (say three pages of 10, 10, 6) but no blank row shows up. Again, works fine in the development environment no matter how many pages.
Any ideas or suggestions why this is happening? Could there be some environment setting that is causing this to happen?

I have a problem with a business rule (BR) deployed as a standalone Descision service.
the BR consists on a simple decision table wich compare an input (bigInteger) with 50. It returns two facts (as output).
the two conditions are confugured (i.e. <50 and >=50).
the Decision service (stateless) is called in a simple BPEL process. in some cases the the assign activity in the bpel process rise this exception :

it seems like an output of the business rule used by the assign after the invoke activity is empty.
But in the input payload for the decision service all elements are not empty. I can't inderstand how the OBR return an empty variable?
Any help please?

In the taskflow you should be capable to trace step by step what happens in the execution. Does this give any clue, e.g. why sometimes the assert does not work?

I have a creative Zen Xtra, bought it just a week ago, and liked it a lot, (Except the size ...)
but i think i am having a problem with it. If I have to create a play list, while I am playing songs how to do it ?
Lets say i am playing song aa from album AA
i click on AA , and the select song aa and click on Play now it starts playing but now i want to add it to playlist , then i click on aa and in the menu that comes up i click on "Add to Play" but as soon as i click on the "black roller while) to select "add to play" I can see the selection on the previous menu (song aa ) moves to next line..
Same thing happens if I have to add Album AA to play list, the cursor on the previous manu shifts one position below,
And the song/alblum is never added to the play list.
Do i have to do it only using PC ?

Basically whenever you make a playlist, it includes whatever is in your "selected music". So let's say you want to add an album to an existing playlist. Go into your media library, add your playlist ("Add to play"). Then add the album you want from the media library (also doing the "add to play" option). When you go into the "selected music" section, click in on the scroll wheel and "save as playlist"

I did try remodelling and it works fine here. A constant value rule really gets a constant value.
The user exit option also works fine here. Here's an example of a very simple user exit for a KF:

SOS Problem with navigation rules

I have been stuck for some time with a navigation problem: It seems my faces DD is read but the navigations rules are not. Unfortunately it does not give me any exception. The only thing that occurs is that the home page reloads itself instead of redirecting to the second page.

Hi,
I added a messages component to your home.jsp page and saw that the page produced validation errors (often the cause for failed navigation).
The problem is that the beans property minimumNote expects an int but gets a String. When you change the the type in the bean to String it works.
You will probably want to add a converter to the uicomponent to get the correct type. I'd be happy to tell you how, but I'm just starting with jsf ;-).

I found the solution to my problem but I don't really understand why it was not working. My problem was due to the use of command button with a render set to false. I just put them at true and all my navigation rules work!
If someone know why it was not working, I would be glad to know!

Problem with udev rule to disable touchpad when USB mouse connects

Hi, I've been running Arch on this laptop, but I can't get this udev rule to work properly.
What I want to happen is: when I plug in my usb mouse, the laptop touchpad is disabled, and the left and right buttons are reversed (I'm left handed)
After following several tutorials, both from the arch wiki and other sites, I've come up with this udev rule:

Running the script from a terminal returns no errors and works as expected. The problem is when I plug/unplug the mouse from the usb port, nothing happens.

Problem with add Spotlight Comments script.

I am trying to add Spotlight Comments to some files using Automator. I have made an very simple script in Automator that add Spotlight Comments to the files that I have selected in Finder. I save this script as an app and it work great. I also save the same script but not as an app but as a service. The problem here is that when I run the service it add the same Spotlight Comment two times. For example, if I add "@Webshots" with the app the Spotlight Comments of the files is "@Webshots" but when I do it with the service the Spotlight Comments of the files is "@Webshots" "@Webshots". Can anybody help me with this? I will appreciate it a lot any help that you could give me. Thanks

I suspect your workflow includes 'get select finder items' as the first action. get rid of it. it's redundant in a service that accepts files and folder in finder. that's why everything happens twice.

Why is Firefox having problems with add-ons since I upgraded to 3.6.9?

Firefox upgraded it self today to the latest version 3.6.9 and now my add-ons don't start. I can still see them in the Tools>Add-ons>Extensions window. But they are not running. I have allready tried to delete the extensions.ini, extensions.rdf and extensions.cache files but it didn't help. And if I click on any of the Option buttons in the Add-ons window it just freezes. Firefox keeps runing and seemes unafected but the Add-ons window doesn't respond any more. I can't close it and it even stayes open after I close Firefox.

I tried disabling all add-ons and resetting all user preferences but it didn't fix the problem. So I tried your second recommendation. And when I booted Firefox with the new Profile everything was OK. I added my add-ons and they worked great. The only problem was that if I closed Firefox the new profile I created disappeared. The old, corrupt profile was still there but the new one wasn't. In the end I even deleted the old, default profile. This only made the matter worse. Every newely created profile would still disapeare if I closed Firefox and without a profile Firefox wouldn't start, saying that it is already running in the background and that I should stop the process or reboot my PC. Needless to say there was no firefox.exe process running in the background and even rebooting wouldn't make Firefox start. Well not knowing what to do next I did a compete uninstall of Firefox, rebooted my PC and installed a fresh copy of Firefox 3.6.9. I imported my bookmarks and added my add-ons and (for now) everything works as it should.

Searchbar broken in v23, and problem with add on - js related?

Since upgrading to v23, the searchbar no longer functions - I can enter search terms, but the drop down appears on my second monitor, and when hitting enter, nothing happens - i.e. searching from the search bar no longer works, for any search engine installed.
Also, while it may seem like an unrelated issue, I use the Devonthink add on, in order to capture html pages from firefox directly to Devonthink Pro. After capturing the HTML page into DTP, I can than convert it to a searchable PDF.
When converting the page captured from v23, in DTP, all I get is a mirror image and a partial capture of the viewable portion of the original HTML page.
Both of these functions worked perfectly in v22, but are broken in v23. I have since downgraded to v22, and both functions work as expected, so there's clearly an issue with v23 of Firefox.

Problem with add fields in KOB1

Hi,
I need to add some fields in the KOB1 report for Display Actual Cost Line Items for Orders, i have tried change the Customizing include CI_RKPOS with the new fields and the includes ZXKAEPTOP, ZXKAEPU01 from EXIT_SAPLKAEP_001. The problem is that the new fields are marked with 'X' in the fielcat-no_out and not appear in the report. How can i change this fieldcat or do that these fields appear in the report.

1) there is a view covp go in to that open table/join tab COEP table in that one include is there CI_COBL
in this include put your custome fields.
and activate it.
2)open se37 tc and run this RS_SEL_OPTIONS fm and exe cute it click on creat button and you can able to give group no in the sceen with the fields which you need to display. then save it.
3) run kob1 you will get it
