Problem with app store account

Awhile ago I was having problems logging into my app store account I couldn't log in. I requested my password be sent to me, but I never recieved the email so I went to make a new account. What I did was essentially make the exact same account I had previously, same email and password. But now when I go to update apps, it tells me my password is incorrect for any app that I downloaded before I changed my account. Any apps I've downloaded after this problem occurred update fine. Is there any way I can somehow transfer these other apps to my 'new' account so I'm able to update, or find a new way to update them? I tried updating them through my computer, but it says there are no updates, and I'd have to switch to my 'old' account to update the apps I had downloaded.

    Did you check to see if your credit card has expired or has been frozen? My dad bought some hardware from Canada and it froze his card because it was an out of the country purchase. He called the bank and they turned it back on.

    Hi,
       I have problems with Apps Store whenever I rotate the device it will just auto exit from the apps store and back to home screen.

    Try a rest: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

    I have the old iPhone 16gb and it has now been upgraded to 2.0.1 but since the update the installer is gone and now its the Apps store i have to use... But everytime I try downloading from the apps store it says "your account is only valid for purchases in the Danish iTunes store" how come????? My friends have iPhones and they havent had the same troubles as me So what could the problem be??? Please help me..

    If it is second hand, try putting it in recovery mode, and restoring it with itunes on a mac or pc.

    After transfer money in to master card, I can not "edit payment information". I am sure that my card can payment all of amount owed in billing.

    Apple APAC reply me but  process not successful:
    1) Make sure your billing information is correct on your iTunes account. -----------------> Yes, I am sure!
    2) Check with your bank.  ---------------> Yes. My bank answer that all of payment is nomal.
    3) If your current card is still not being accepted, try using a different card.--------> I have only master card and I can not  replace immediately. Now, I desperately need to purchase application for Mac, Iphone and Ipad.
    After re-install Mac os and Ipad, all of app should be blank.
    Would you please advice me why my payment method was declined?

    Is the address on your iTunes account (format and spacing) exactly the same as on your credit card ? If it is and your card isn't being accepted then try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    I was recently trying to upgrade to mountain lion through the app store.  I have unreliable Internet from a cable company whom I will not name, but we all know who they are.  My Internet dropped while downloading the upgrade.  Once I went through the notorious unplug the modem/router and plugged it back in to gain Internet connectivity again, I could not resume. No matter what I did, the app store kept displaying "an error occurred." I am hoping that those with the same issue read this first to save them hours of skimming through the Internet to find a solution.  Here are the steps to take:
    1. Make sure you have reestablished Internet connection
    2. Chances are you got frustrated when you tried to resume/unpause the download and clicked the "X" to the left.  If so, select the "Store" drop-down menu from the App Store and select "View My Account." There should be an option to unhide your purchase.  You know what to do.
    3. There is also an option to  reset all warnings for buying and downloading under "View My Account." Do this, click "Done," sign out of the App Store and quit the App Store.
    4. Open the Preferences in safari and select Privacy.  Select "Remove All Website Data."  Just do it.
    5. Launch the app store and sign in.
    6. Now, if you "Check for Unfinished Downloads" everything works peachy.
    I hope this helps.  Not much I can do for your Internet connection though.

  • Problems with App Store since installing Mountain Lion

    I have recently installed Mountain Lion and since then have been unable to use the App Store. When I launch it comes up with an error message stating 'App Store cannot verify a secure connection with the App Store.Would you like to connect anyway?'  If you hit continue the application flashes black and white but goes no further. Has anyone else had this problem and what could be done about it.

    The app store is saying I have two apps ready to update (iphoto and pages) but when I try to update them, the App Store states "an error has occurred". I have recently updated to Yosemite so that may be part of the problem. Also, I believe the apps are already updated, yet the notification remains there for both.

  • Problems with App Store...Keeps on downloading the same update!

    Hi all,
    I have a problem with updates from the App Store.
    For example, I updated iPhoto and that was successful. It was about 1.6GB.
    I opened up iPhoto and all was good.
    Now when I go to the App Store it keeps telling me that I have the same update still waiting for me despite I have already done the update.
    This is also happening with a few other programs as well which can be seen below:
    So, now I have the situation where iPhoto is again trying to download (and waste 1.6GB) the same update and as a consequence I cannot use iPhoto because it is paused and when I resume the download (which has already been done twice) I loose another 1.6GB of my download limit.
    I have emailed Apple about this but all they could do is refer me to some links where you can hide purchases made via the App Store.
    How can I fix the above issue please.
    It is very annoying to always see the red circle with the number 5 in it where all those updates have already been done but App Store thinks I haven't done them.

  • Problem with app store say i need to update app

    I had to do a clean install of snow leopard because i didnt like the way lion ran on my macbook. 2 days later i saw an app store update icon. I found it odd since i hadnt added any apps yet. it said there is an update for the store news app. but i dont have that app so i tried to install it and delete it to get rid of red update icon but it says i have to sign in with some strange email because it linked to that account. im lost and dont know how that is possible. can someone please explain how to get rid of it. remember I dont have any apps installed yet and i did clean install of sl.
