please help me, I'm activate the WF14000145
but it's not work, in tr. SWUD I have the error: E WS14000145 WD:401 Workflow definition '' not in version ''. I check the note the 962488 "Workflow definition '&' not in version '&'".
1. Run the function module SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999.
2. Re-activate the WF definitions in the transaction SWDD. In SWDD I see three version of WF14000145 and one -active.
3. Check Consistency in the transaction SWUD.
But still have this error.

Problem in committing transactions in Multiple Forms (Oracle Forms) with POST built-in command:
Consider that the following statements are written in WHEN-WINDOW-CLOSED trigger of a called form.

Our understanding:
Assume that both the forms are running from two different machines/instances, issuing commit at the same time. In this case, forms will start executing the statements written in ON-INSERT trigger, the moment POST command is executed. Though the commit is issued at the same time, according to oracle, only one of the request will be taken for processing first. Assume that calling form 1 is getting processed first.
So, it fetches the value available in COLUMN_1 of TABLE_A and locks the row from further select, update, etc. as SELECT...FOR UPDATE command is used (note that NOWAIT is not given, hence the lock will be released only when COMMIT or ROLLBACK happens) and proceed executing further INSERT statements. Because of the lock provided by the SELECT...FOR UPDATE command, the statements in calling form 2 will wait for the resource.
After executing the INSERT statements, the FORM_CHILD is called. The rows inserted in to TABLE_A will be queried and shown. The database changes will be committed when user closes the window (as COMMIT is issued in its WHEN-WINDOW-CLOSED trigger). Then the SELECT...FOR UPDATE lock will be released and calling form 2's statements will be executed.
Actual happenings or Mis-behavior:
Calling form 2 starts executing INSERT statements instead of waiting for SELECT...FOR UPDATE lock. Also, the value selected from TABLE_A.COLUMN_1 is same in both the calling forms, which is wrong.
The rows inserted into TABLE_B are having similar COLUMN_1 values in calling form 2 and they are fetched and shown in the called form FORM_CHILD.
Note that in calling form 2 also POST only is issued, but the changes posted there are accessible in calling form 1 also, which is wrong.
Kindly suggest us as to how to fix above problem. It will be much use, if you can send us the information regarding the behavior of Oracle Forms POST built-in also.

You have several problems:
1. On-Insert will ONLY run if you have created a new record in a base-table block. If you haven't done that, then the POST command will not cause it to run.
2. Select for update without a "no wait" will lock records for the first form, but when the second form tries this, it will hit the ORA-00054 exception, and will NOT wait. The only way you could make it wait is to issue an UPDATE sql command, which is not such a good way to go.
All POST does is issues SQL insert or update commands for any changes the user has made to records in a form's base-table blocks, without following with a Commit command.
Also understand that Commit is the same as Commit_Form, and Rollback is the same as Clear_Form. You should read up on these in the Forms help topics.

Experiencing problems with workflow- validate step

I am experiencing problems with workflow->validate step in Hyperion FDM.
I am not able to export unmapped dimension members to Excel.
Earlier everything worked fine.
But now all of a sudden it has become a serious problem.
when I click Export to Excel,processing starts and it's never coming to an end.
Every thing is getting stuck up.
Could any one suggest solution to this as it is delaying my deliverable.

Try opening excel first, then doing the export from FDM.

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

RSAU461, problem with activating update rules for cube 0csrv_c01

I have added new fields to data source 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H, then changed transfer rules, added characteristics to ODS 0crm_proh, and reactivated update rules 80crm_proh. But now I have problem with second update rules for this cube named 80crm_cnfh. It is not active and all fields in it have red status, error RSAU461, and I cannot activate it.
What I should do? Should I change somehow that second source for data to my cube (change infosource, ods, rule?)

As said by the Mti u have just changed the info objects in the ods and u need to map them with the specific info objects from the ods.
double click on the Update rules of the cube and go to the characteristic tab there map the newly added info objects with the IO in the ods.

I configured Outlook with this parameters and works: Autenthication: yes, SSL: yes, port: 25, host: gmail.smtp.com.
In my BPEL process is a right msg, but the email doesn`t arrive:

CRVS2010 Beta - Problems with printing Crystal Reports for VS 2010

We have the following problem, we used the version of Crystal Reports that came integrated with visual studio for several years. But we are migrating to the version of Visual Studio 2010, and we are using the version of Crystal Reports for this same version, running on screen is correct, and run all the reports, but in print there is a failure we could not solve. Our customers use printers dot matrix as the "Epson LX300 +", but when you print the report leaves the impression defective in the previous version of Visual Studio 2005 "The impression is quite clear, we have attempted to overcome this problem with the options of PrintMode with activex and pdf in the CrystalReportViewer, and RenderingDPI option with multiple values. Obviously when using other types of printers such as laser or inkjet printing is perfect, but due to cost our customers use the printers mentioned. The server where the application is Windows server 2008 and client computers are windows xp, windows 7, windows vista. As network hardware and printers are working properly, and from other applications and from the other server with versions of Crystal Reports If anyone knows how to solve this problem I would like to receive support and ideas.

I have a question about printing reports. We are using VS2008 and the CR reportviewer with printmode = ActiveX. Many of our users absolutely hate the number of steps they must go through and the time it takes to print a Crystal Report when printmode = PDF. In our environment several times per day, we need to produce hard copies of reports for legal reasons. Making the users first render the report, then had it off to Adobe to print simply takes too much time which is why we are using the ActiveX print control.
We recently started looking at VS2010 and discovered the issue with the unbundling of Crystal Reports. We have not downloaded CR for VS2010 yet.
My question is this: for VS2010, what happened to the ActiveX print control? I read somewhere that it was going to become some WPF-type thing but there weren't many details about that. So when a user clicks on the print button in the Crystal Report Viewer intended for VS2010, what can they expect? Can they still print straight to a printer (is there something that gives them this capabitliy like the Active X print control did?), or has that capability been deprecated and they have to go through PDF? HT201272 Problems with The Times app for iphone

I have purchased an iphone app for The Times through itunes at a cost of £9.99 for 30 days. Over 2 weeks has passed and I still don't have full access to the app. Sometimes I can log-in and it works, but every day there are times when I cannot log-in. When I try to log-in, the app says my subscription has expired. I type in my email address and password, and it doesn't accept it (a message says I should email The Times helpdesk). I contacted The Times helpdesk, and they told me that it was a problem with itunes. I would like to understand what the problem is, and why isn't the app working?

In client 107, the template works after I delete the SAP_WSRT user. In clients 105 and 106, this leads to the exception above,
If the SAP_WSRT user exists, I get the exception that this user alreadz exists if I run the template.
What should I do to fix this problem and properly implement the template on all clients?
PS: I use admin users with SAP_ALL rights. Maybe I use the wrong master password, because I use the one of my SAP_ALL user. This works at least for using the template within client107.

Hi Mark,
in my case the workaround of deleting the service user works only in Client 107.
The additional problem with a missing service destination occurs already after deleting the service user in Clients 105 and 106. Will this additional problem also be treated in the new note?
Joerg-Joachim Klossika already added the workaround to this note for the existing service user I proposed to him.
I still cannot resolve the problem with the missing service destination.

Issue: For bid invitations created as a follow on document from sourcing cockpit, the is a problem with the approval.
As soon as it is published, the bid invitation goes to the first approver. When the approver approves it, the bid invitation is still in his inbox.

Problems with Approving Content

I have a problem when a person posts or edits content must be approved.
The other persons don't get a notifaction that content have to be approved.
And if the admin looks on the page and uses the approvement portlet there is nothing to approve.
In addition the content (i used normal textitem) can't be edited by anyone other.
Do i have to add the persons which should do the approvement to special groups or roles? Is there anything what i have to pay attention on?

As far as I know, for approval process to be run successfully, setup is required at the very start.
1. Under page group [Configure] tab, tick the [Approval and Notifications] checkbox.
2. Under [Approval] tab, design your approval workflow, ie. who will be the approvers and in what sequence.
3. Create a page under the same page group.
4. Under [Access] tab of the page, add users who can add/update contents to the page with "Manage items with Approval" privilege.
5. Add the "Edit" link on the page for the authorized users.
6. Add "My Notification" portlet for approvers so that they can be notifiied if any request of approval is outstanding.
That is what I do now.
