Problem with Automatic Replies or Out of Office

Hi mates!
I´ve just finished migration Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.
Today I´ve removed Exchange 2003.
I have a problem with Automatic Replies or Out of Office. When the user active Automatic Replies in Outlook 2010, He has this Error:
Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later.
If I logged into OWA, (Options > Set Automatic Replies) I could set it up and it worked fine.
I run Test E-mail AutoConfiguration command to see if AutoDiscover has been configured and the OOF URL is correct:
https://mail.domain.com/ews/exchange.asmx
I try to browse the OOF URL from IE, It works fine.
Authentication Permission for EWS Virtual Directory is:
Anonymous – Enabled (For IUSER)
Basic – Enabled
Windows – Enabled
Other authentication methods are disabled.
WebServicesVirtualDirectory configuration for URL:
InternalNLBBypassUrl :
https://Server1.domain.local/ews/exchange.asmx
InternalUrl
: https://mail.domain.local/EWS/Exchange.asmx
ExternalUrl
  : https://mail.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx
InternalNLBBypassUrl : https:// Server2.domain.local /ews/exchange.asmx
InternalUrl
: https:// mail.domain.local /EWS/Exchange.asmx
ExternalUrl
: https:// mail.domain.com /EWS/Exchange.asmx
I use a certificate for Server HUB/CAS from my CA (Active Directory).
In EMC I have this error for certificate:
The certificate status could not be determinated because the revocation check failed.
But when I generated in the past, this status of this certificate was This certificate is valid for Microsoft Exchange.
I need help, because I don´t know I do…
Thanks.

Hi MAS,
As soon as possible I will install this kb in a PC with Outlook 2010.
Yes, I reset IIS, with the same result.
I check this URL, and I run this command: TestOutlookWebServices -identity user01 with this result:

  • Problems with Automatic Workflow Customizing

    Hi!
    I am having problems with Automatic Workflow Customizing (SWU3). I am trying to execute "Configure RFC Destination" manually. I receive the message "Synchronization of passwords failed".
    We are using CUA and it is therefor not possible to create the user from SWU3 which means that WF-BATCH has been created in CUA with a pw which is then filled in by me when executing "Configure RFC Destination".
    WF-BATCH has authorization SAP_NEW, SAP_ALL
    My user also has SAP_NEW and SAP_ALL and usergroup SUPER.
    Does anyone know what might be the problem?
    Sincerley
    Anders Öhrling

    Hello Anders,
    Check if the user is locked in SU01. Then check if your user has been created in CUA.
    It is recommended to delete WF_BATCH. The system will auto create the user ID WF-BATCH and synchronize the password.
    Do let me know if your problem is resolved.
    Thank you.
    Regards,

  • Has anyone had any problems with their charger blowing out?

    Has anyone had any problems with their charger blowing out? mine blew, there's now a charred pin on the charger and in the socket of the macbook. The plastic around the charge socket is also cracked & distorted from the blow-out. It wasn't a power surge as no other electrical items were affected. It wasn't liquid or dust, as I'm the only person who uses it & I'm very careful. I'm concerned that the consequences could have been terrible. I wasn't present when it happened though, I can just see the evidence after the event.
    I have a mid 2010 13" Macbook running the latest software & use the original magsafe charger that came with it.
    Will I have to fork out for a costly repair or is there a safety issue that Apple will sort out for me?
    Any advice would be much appreciated.

  • Can't start laptop - problems with automatic repair, need acces to admin account but there is none. HELP! :(

    Hello,
    I'm having problems with my windows 8 laptop.
    This afternoon I shut it down, and went to work. A few hours later when I came back home I noticed the little blue lights on the keyboard (showing me that the pc was charging and that my wifi is on) were still on. Normally these are off when the pc is turned
    off.
    I tried starting the laptop but nothing happened, the screen stayed black. I held down the 'on' button to force it to turn off, and turned it on again.
    I then got a textmessage on the startup loading screen that there were problems with my C drive (only drive the laptop has), so it went to automatic repair.
    *my laptop's language is set to Dutch so I'm translating everything :)*
    It gave me 2 options:
    1: Restart computer
    2: Advanced options.
    I tried option 1, didnt work ofcourse, it just restarted and I got back to this screen, so I checked what option 2 had to offer.
    I got to a screen with 3 options:
    1: Continue to windows 8
    2: Solve Problems
    3: Shut down
    When I tried option 1 the computer just restarted and went back to the same screen.
    When I tried option 3 it shut down as it should.
    Option 2 gave me 3 other options:
    1: Renew PC
    2: Factory reset
    3: advanced options
    Option 1 just restarted my pc and took me back to screen 1.
    Option 2 I havent tried yet, because it erases all of my files. This is a last resort.
    Option 3 gave me 6 other options:
    1: Systemrepair
    2: Repair with installationcopy
    3: Startuprepair
    4: CMD
    5: UEFI firmware settings
    6. Startupsettings.
    I can't use option 1,2,3,4 because I need to log in to an administratoraccount.
    The bad part is: the laptop doesn't have an administratoraccount.
    It was my parents laptop, and theyve set it up. I always assumed the account was an admin because
    I had acces to everything and didn't need a password to run things as admin and such.
    Turns out it isn't.
    I get this message (translated) when I try to acces one of these:
    'You have to log in as administrator to continue, but this pc doesn't have an administratoraccount'.
    I can't believe microsoft added a check to see if the pc has an admin account on it, and even added a specific message to show when it doesn't, but they didnt add the option to just use these tools when there is no admin account present? What were they thinking!
    Option 5 I havent tried yet, when I click it it says I have to restart to acces these settings, but I dont want to mess with something I know nothing about.
    Option 6 gives me a few options like run the pc in safety mode, run windows repair and disable auto-restart after something has gone wrong with windows. But when I select one of these options it doesnt work. It just takes me back to auto repair. It just doesn't
    doe anything.
    There are no other options. Nothing I can do. My pc is stuck like this. The only thing I *might* be able to do is a factory reset, but I havent tried, and that could also just give me an error about me not being admin.
    Some backstory of what I think caused this problem:
    I believe the problems started a week ago, last friday.
    I'm using a program called 'AVG TuneUp'. This program gave me a message telling me it was 3 months since it had checked my C drive for defects or anything. And it asked me if I wanted it to do so. Unknowing of the problems that would follow, I pressed 'ok'
    (or whatever it was).
    I had to restart my pc for it to begin, because it could only check the drive during startup. It went to 12% and stayed there for like half an hour, after which I decided to google (on my phone) if that was normal. It turned out that that option doesn't work
    well with windows 8 and that lots of people's computers got ruined after using it. I stressed and I tried to shut it down, but since I was still in startup the only thing I could do was force the pc to shut down, so I held down the power button and it shut
    down. I restarted and managed to abort the proces. The laptop started fine and everything worked.
    A few days later a game/program I use called League of Legends started to act weird, because I could not log in on my account (for the game) anymore. Some error with IE settings, which I was unable to fix. For more info about that go to http://boards.eune.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support-en/8Eoz315J-cant-log-in-to-lol-and-cant-log-in-to-steam-either-weird-coincidence.
    Although I doubt it will help.
    That forum post also contains a link to a post I made on the Steam forum about not being able to log into steam anymore. (Steam is another program I used). I wasn't able to log into steam anymore about 1-2 days after I wasn't able to log into LoL.
    Also at the same time my Norton sortof stopped working. It showed up as active in my task manager and AVG TuneUp program manager, but it wasn't in my task bar and I couldnt acces the control panel.
    Then yesterday I checked my pc for errors with AVG TuneUp's 1-click maintenance tool, and it told me my C drive was fragmented badly, so I defragmented it using the tool. Laptop still worked fine after that.
    And then today I got the error on startup about my C drive having errors.
    Long story shot: Problem is probably caused because I stopped the repair of my C drive with the avg tuneup tool before it was done, however its weird that I'm only experiencing (big) problems a week after that happened.

    But I don't really understand what the answering person is saying, and my laptop doesn't have a CD drive..
    I really, REALLY hope someone can help me with this, because my laptop is basically 100% 'destroyed'.

    Hello,
    Perhaps the operating system is incorrectly powering down or shifting the wireless adapter to a low power state in order to improve run time while on battery?
    Try going into the Device Manager (filename: DEVMGMT.MSC), locate the wireless adapter under the Network Adapters tree, view its Properties, and on the Power Management tab, disable (un-check) the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option.
    Please let us know if that makes any difference (or not).

  • Problems with automatically managing

    So, I've been having a few problems with my new 30G 5g ipod, and I've gone through the usual to try and fix them. I've reinstalled all the software, restored my ipod, tried other USB ports, and have even gone as far as reformating my computer. Most of the problems I've been able to overcome. However, the problem I have now is that after I restore my ipod and I try to automatically update all my music, it won't. Itunes shows that songs are being uploaded, but after so many songs are uploaded (usually around 100 but has happend with less) it seems like the ipod looses its connection with my computer. After the connection is lost it reconnects, itunes sees it as hooked up again, and tries to start uploading again in this perpetual cycle.
    So, that is my problem, but as it seems there are always make shift ways to fix things, and I've found one. I have accomplished getting all my songs onto my ipod (about 1000) by using the manually update songs, and transferring only a couple songs at a time.
    So, I have a couple of questions:
    First of all, is anybody having this problem with updating songs to their ipod?
    Secondly, if you are, have you found any sort of fix?
    Lastly, if nobody is having the same problem, my concern is now that I've got my ipod sort of working (via my make shift manual update) will I run into future problems (especially after waranty is up) and does this problem warant getting a new ipod from apple? Because let's be honest, it isn't working correctly.

    Does your computer meet the minimum requirements? If your using Win XP, not having service pack 1 and 2 can cause problems. Win 2k needs to have SP4. Any programs running in the back ground that might interfere with it? Not all USB ports are high powered, might try charging your iPod for 4 hours before transfering. Try disconnecting other USB devices, especially if they are some other form of storage device. Here's an article about the ipod discharging while transferring. Let us know what you find out.

  • Problem with URL:s containing scandinavian characters (Office 2013 / Firefox / SP 2010)

    We are encountering problems with document opening when URL contains scandinavian characters (ä,ö). This issue occurs only with Office 2013 when using Firefox. With IE it works just fine. And Office 2010 works nicely as well.
    Error message: "We can't connect to 'https://intra.../Test powerpoint.pptx' Please make sure you're using the correct web address".
    This issue only occurs when document or document set name contains scandinavian characters. If I rename it, document opens without any problems.
    Any idea how I could fix this?

    Hi Law, try changing the settings in the library to "open in client application." You should also read the following links for solutions:

  • Problem with Courier font since upgrading to Office 2007

    Hi everybody,
    Since we upgraded to Office 2007, one of our Acrobat users (he is the only person in the firm really using Acrobat actually) has problems when exporting Word documents to PDF.
    So he is using Word 2007 and Acrobat Pro 9 (included in the CS4), he is modifying documents that were created with earlier versions of Word and the problem he has is since he has upgraded to Office 2007 (he was already using Acrobat Pro 9 without problem with Word 2003), text in the Courier font is replaced by those rectangles like unknown characters :
    So I would like to know what has changed in Word 2007 that makes it that the Courier font cannot be exported to a PDF (from what I read it is one of the standard fonts always included in PDF readers), if I can change some settings to fix it without modifying all the Word documents or at least get a warning when it is going to happen.
    Indeed the user's biggest concern is that he doesn't even receive a warning that that specific font won't be output correctly so he might change only some text or images in the Word document and export it to PDF and he will still have to check the whole document to make sure there was no Courier text that didn't make it through.
    P.S. He is using the Adobe PDF printer to do the export.
    Thanks.
    Jonathan V.

    Actually, I have a bit more information to share :
    In the PDF files created before upgrading to Office 2007 (with Word 2003), I can see that Courier - Type 1 - ANSI is partially embedded (I thought it was supposed to be one of the base/system fonts).
    I tried to export one of the Word documents affected again, replacing part of the Courier text with the Courier New font to see if it would work, the text in Courier New is showing correctly while the text in Courier still shows as squares.
    When I check the fonts in the PDF file, CourierNewPSMT - TrueType - ANSI, is embedded (not partially ??) and Courier - TrueType - ANSI is partially embedded.
    So I don't understand why Courier was embedded as Type 1 (but it worked) and now it supposedly embeds a TrueType Courier font that doesn't seem to work.
    Again, the major problem is that there is no warning that the font won't output correctly, so you have to check the whole document again or you might end up with some parts unreadable.

  • MSI P55-GD65 - Problem with automatic fan control.

    Hello.
    I wish to share story of my fan speed controller.
    Lately I've upgraded my machine to modern specs (look at signature) and I was quite happy about that.
    It worked flawlessly for about week.
    My H/W Bios settings was - CPU Smart Fan Target = 60°C and minimal fan speed 50%.
    I was amazed how nicely GD65 maintained between heat and speed.
    Yesterday, I've noticed that my fan is really quiet all the time, even when gaming (before it accelerate speed while hardcore gaming settings). I was quite content about that, until my computer crashed due to overheating while playing Battleforge match.
    After reboot I've ran Intel BurnTest and HWmonitor. OH my, what was my surprise when I saw that fan speed is always 50% and do not speeds up when cores are heating up!
    I started to checking things out. What I've discovered:
    -(CPU Smart Fan ON) Fan is always at minimal speed given in BIOS. It doesn't accelerate even if CPU is burning.
    -(CPU Smart Fan ON) Fan speed cannot be controlled by any program (like SpeedFan).
    -(CPU Smart Fan OFF = 100% fan speed) Fan speed CAN be controlled by program like SpeedFan, which saves me from fan buzzing.
    I've try to fix that by:
    -Checking cables.
    -Clearing CMOS.
    -Updating BIOS to 1.6.
    -Praying.
    And still nothing.
    My conclusion:
    Fan speed cannot be change when Smart Fan is on, it locks fan speed at minimal speed given in bios.
    Now I just hoping that this is somehow stock fan fault, new Zalman CNPS 10X QUIET is in delivery.

    No problem here with Target 55° and Speed 37.5%.
    Fan runs at 1330 below 58° and 2050 above which is max.
    The CPU is running at 3050 MHz because of XMP 'overclocking'
    Have reverted to BIOS version 1.3, due to XMP problems with other versions.

  • Big problems with AA8.1.2 and XP/Office 2007

    I've had so many problems with AA8.1.2 since I got this new laptop that I'm about to trash the entire machine :^(
    Everytime I start any Office product, Windows Explorer or anything that seems to be using the shell, AA launches in to the installer then aborts with ERROR 1606 Could Not Access Network Location \Startup. I'd just as soon uninstall AA altogether at this point but it even fails its own uninstall with the same error. With the Office products, I get the following error on top of the Error 1606 which says Compile Error In Hidden Module: DISTMON. I get this when the product (Excel, Word, etc.) starts up and when it exits.
    Can somebody help me here? I've searched the KB and the only article I find is no solution; following its instructions didn't help a bit. I can't even install any AA updates (that I hope might solve the problem) because of the same installation error.
    Thanks.

    I get the same message whenever I try to install Adobe 8.1.0 (received from Adobe last week) on a new computer running Vista Ultimate. I have completed all the actions in MS KB 886549 to no avail. I also copied the complete Adobe folder from the CD to the Desktop and ran the install program and the .msi program as an Administrator and had the same results. I spent a little over a half hour yesterday on the phone with Tech Support and still have the same problem. A search on the error message on the Internet shows that there are a lot of other people having this same problem. I hope someone comes up with a solution soon or it is back to the old computer (XP with SP3 and Adobe 7).

  • Problems with EXCELSIUS 2008 after upgrading MS-Office 2007 to SP2 ??

    Hi Community,
    has anyone experienced how EXCELSIUS 2008 works after upgrading MS-Office 2007 to the new SP2 ??
    (including "2007 MS Office Suite Service Pack2 (SP2)" and "MS Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 2 (SP2)" and "Security Updates for MS Office System 2007 (KB969618)" and "Update for 2007 MS Office System (KB967642)")
    We're going to upgrade our PCs and need to know about any possible trouble/problems with our mission critical applications (and EXCELSIUS was identified as one of them
    Thanks in advance ...
    Peter

    I'm not sure if MS Office 2007 SP2 will actually cause any problem, but according to the supported platform list for Xcelsius 2008 SP1, MS Office 2007 SP2 is not listed (Office 2007 is).
    Other Tools
    =============
    Office      (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
    Windows Office 2003
    Windows Office 2003  SP1
    Windows Office 2003  SP2
    Windows Office XP  SP3
    Windows Office 2007
    Fix packs typically do not include additional platform support, so I believe that 2007 SP2 is still not supported as of FP3. I'm pretty sure though that Office 2007 SP2 will be supported in the very near future...

  • Problem with automatic creation of Universes on top of SAP BW - RKF

    Hello
    When I create Universes on top of SAP BW Querys everythings works fine, except for the Restricted Key Figures. The RKFs are created with the GUID code and not with the Description configured in the Query. I tried making the Key Figure Local and Global in the query without success. Does anyone know what's happening?
    I'm using BO XI 3.1 SP2 with SAP BW 7.0.
    André

    I created universes based on a BW Query in the following situations:
        User specified username and password:   language = PT - Dimension's name OK, RKF are GUID
        User specified username and password:   language = EN - Dimension's name OK, RFK are GUID
        SSO: langue = PT or EN - Dimensions name are Ok and in English - RFK are GUID
    I edited prefences of CMC to Portuguese. The same results.
    The problem with the RKF still exists.
    Is there some way resolve this problem?

  • Sap4rails - Problem with automatic handling of data types under Windows

    Hello all,
    I've been trying to develop my own application using sap4rails library but whenever I call one of standard RFCs I always get strange results. Here is the piece of the code from my model which gets data from CURRENCY_LIST table:
    require "sap4rails"
    class App < SAP4Rails
      @@funcs = [
           'BAPI_CURRENCY_GETLIST',
      # User defined instance methods here
      attr_accessor :message
      class << self
      def getlist()
        RAILS_DEFAULT_LOGGER.info("[App]#getlist ")
        App.BAPI_CURRENCY_GETLIST.call()
        return App.BAPI_CURRENCY_GETLIST.currency_list.rows()
      end
    end
    here is the code from the controller
    class AppController < ApplicationController
      layout "standard-layout"
    def index
      list
      render_action 'list'
    end
    def list
        RAILS_DEFAULT_LOGGER.info("[LIST] action started...")
        @currencies = App.getlist()
    end
    end
    end the code from the view:
    <html>
      <head>
        <title> Currencies </title>
      </head>
      <body>
        <h1>Listing Currencies</h1>
         <table border="1">
           <tr>
             <% @currencies.first.each_key {|key| %>
             <th><%= key %></th>
             <% } %>
           </tr>
           <% for currency in @currencies %>
           <tr>
             <% currency.each_value {|val| %>
             <td><%= val %></td>
             <% } %>
           </tr>
           <% end %>
         </table>
      </body>
    </html>
    As you can see everything is just simple. I run my application on the Windows XP OS and always get such result:
    <html>
    <head>
       <title>Currencies and Exchange Rates: index</title>
    </head>
    <body>
       <html>
      <head>
        <title> Currencies </title>
      </head>
      <body>
        <h1>Listing Currencies</h1>
         <table border="1">
           <tr>
             <th>VALID_TO</th>
             <th>ALT_CURR</th>
             <th>LONG_TEXT</th>
             <th>CURRENCY_ISO</th>
             <th>CURRENCY</th>
           </tr>
           <tr>
             <td>oran peseta     </td>
             <td>231And</td>
             <td>                                                                                </td>
             <td>099991</td>
             <td>ADP  ADP02</td>
           </tr>
           <tr>
             <td>babwean Dollar  </td>
             <td>231Zim</td>
             <td>                                                                                </td>
             <td>699991</td>
             <td>ZWD  ZWD71</td>
           </tr>
    </table>
    </body>
    </html>
    It seems like there is sth wrong with mapping data types from R/3 to data types in Ruby. Does anyone has an idea what could be wrong? I would be very grateful for any help.
    Best Regards
    Michal M.

    First can you please post all log file errors
    >> I can't really give you a solution or specific recommendation since I did not saw this error yet myself, but on your own risk you can try:
    1. You may try to just register 'dts.dll' using regsvr32.exe, but this error may indicate a bigger problem with setup.
    If you are running SQL Server 64bit then try running this at the command prompt: %windir%\syswow64\regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\dts\binn\dts.dll"
    2. You can try reinstall from start (In this case you have to make sure that you un-install all)

  • E61: problems with automatically receiving emails

    Hi.. I have had my E61 for quite a while already but am having problems with its internet connectivity. Basically everytime I attempt to connect to the mobile internet it very rarely connects on the first attemp, but normally I have to try 2-3 times for it to connect (even with full 3G reception. This means that when I set my email (IMAP) application to fetch emails every 2 hours it can't because it can't connect on the first time, so I have to manually connect to the mail application. Is there anything I can do to fix this with a firmware fix? or is it a problem with T-Mobile UK?
    Thanks

    It's the Yahoo servers. whether or not they are up and running have nothing to do with it. Password rejection is an ongoing problem with Yahoo. Sometimes it is caused by more then one device tryiing to access the Yahoo server with the same username and password at the same time or within minutes of one another. Yahoo by default only allows one connection for X amount of time. So if you have a smart phone with the yahoo mail setup on it and it tries to access the server and then your computer tries to access the server it will reject the request. Giving you the bad password dialog.
    Switch your primary email over to Google Mail as Google does not have these restrictions and you can actually use IMAP with Google mail.
    You can even forward all your yahoo mail to a google account so you don't have to go and change all your logons and contacts to use Gmail.
