Problem with bluetooth (iPhone 5)

My iPhone 5 can't connect with bluetooth to my MacBook Pro (2010)
and in the car (Volvo V70, 2011).
I have also problem with the internet sharing from iPhone to my MacBook.
I need a easy-to-do-step-to-step-list.

Thanks however it is not a headset it is a built in handsfree unit. I have spoken to my husband while he is using the iPhone 4 through the device and it does not happen then only when my iPhone 5 is connected to the bluetooth. Any more ideas?

I went to a apple store at South Park, Charlotte NC,
and found out the worst customer service (in my case)
They don't have answers and don't understand about "dont let any customer go away sad or mad"
I explain to them that I did everything they said to fix the problem, even to dounload the iOS 6.1.3
that was supposed to fix the problem.
they said fix the problem in other phones but not in mine.
So here I am with no wifi and bluetooth, with apple technicians and experts that don't know what to do with the problem that the sofware they developed cause in my iphone 4s.
and the solution is for me to pay $199.00 US dollars for a problem that I did not cause.
wich means to buy something else from apple to fix a problem that it is not my fault.

I would like to have an answer from you guys and see if someone there have a better answer for me that shows support, values and integrity as a grest company with solutions for your customers.
Dont think that I want a new phone, I want mine fixed if is possible.

Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

IPhone support bluetooth for stereo speakers/headsets, handsfree telephone devices/headsets, some peer-to-peer apps from the app store, some bluetooth keyboards, and tethering where provided by the carrier.
Other than this, it will not connect to another phone/device/computer.

Iran uses GSM, so the iPhone 5 will work. It is already unlocked. Just put local Iranian SIM in phone.

Strange problem with Bluetooth

Hi everyone,
I am experiencing a very annoying problem with my Iphone. Since I have it (more or less 2 months) I paired it with my Earphone (Plantronics Discovery 640) with no hassle whatsoever.
Yesterday, I tried to get them to connect for the usual trip to work, and nothing happens anymore. It seems that the iphone doesn't want to connect to the headset.
I have tried to connect the iphone to the computer at work, and the BT antenna of my PC would not even "see" the iphone...
What might have happened? Did someone experience the same issue? Any solutions?

The iPhone can not be connected via bluetooth to your PC. The iPhone pairs only to bluetooth headsets, other iPhones (while using certain applications) and PC when using tethering.
Regarding the issue you are facing with your headset, I would suggest the following:
1. Restart your iPhone and try again
2. if the above doesn't help, remove your headset from iPhone's list, re-pair the devices (don't forget to set your headset into pairing more) and try again
3. if the above don't help, reset iPhone's network setting through Settings>General>Restore Settings, re-pair the devices (don't forget to set your headset into pairing more) and try again
4. if the above don't help, hard-restart your iPhone by keeping the home and lock buttons pressed for 10 or so seconds
5. if the above don't help, you should try restoring your iPhone through iTunes, which is the last resort I can think of.

Bluetooth only works for keyboards/hands free car kits/stereo headsets and regular headsets. You cannot use bluetooth for file sharing.

Serious problem with bluetooth after upgrade to iOS6.1

After upgrading to iOS 6.1 I have found serious problems with bluetooth, now I can not see the other iphone and vice versa.

It sounds like you are unable to turn on Wi-Fi because the option is grayed out in Settings. Use these steps from the following article named:
iOS: Wi-Fi settings grayed out or dim

Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please contact Apple for support and service options. If you can turn Wi-Fi on but are experiencing other issues with Wi-Fi, please see these steps.

Why doesn't anyone confess iOS6 has a problem with bluetooth??

I've posted twice now asking why there seems to be a problem with my iPhone 4s iOS6 pairing with Beats wireless headphones. No answers at all.
Is there a problem with saying "since upgrade to iOS6, apple bluetooth has had a problem"??
I read endless accounts of apple owners having problems with this and I have just bought a very expensive set of headphones which are supposted to work if I quote apple, but they simply don't. This is very poor show. With maps and now this, I question if iPhones are now worth the money??

Stupidly, I finally upgraded iPad to iOS6 last week after putting it off for ages. Almost immediately, I started having problems with the Bluetooth connectivity between my Kensington keyboard (designed for iPad) and the device. I didn't realise what it was and thought the keyboard itself had died. It stopped working altogether when I told the iPad to forget the keyboard so that I could try re-pairing.
So I bought a new one! And now I discover that the problem is almost certainly the iOS upgrade.
That's pretty inconvenient as I type almost everything on my iPad and don't have a laptop. The keyboard won't pair with my iPhone either - also upgraded to iOS6 last week.
Apple, please get your act together and sort out a fix for this. It's costing people time and money. And it'll certainly drive me to Android next time.

Welcome to Apple Discussions!
Maybe a long shot, but WD is not known for the quality of some of their enclosures, although I do like the drives themselves. It may be worth mounting this drive in a different enclosure, something like one of OWC's FireWire enclosures with the highly reliable Oxford chip sets. I wouldn't be inclined to trust a WD enclosure, especially if it already seemed to be acting in a flakey manner.

I have 3 of these and I really like them.
From what I understand, if the drive spins up, it is often possible to recover data from it. To be absolutely certain to destroy the data, you just about have to take a hammer to the disk. Hopefully, there will be a way to get your data back.
