Problem with BPM

Hi,
My BPM Scenarios are working earlier. Suddenly all the  scenarios are not working. All the messages are showing sceduled.
My scenarios are
IDOC-Webservice-IDOC  ( Asynch-scnch scenario)
File-RFC-File ( Async-synch scenario)
other scenarios other than BPM are working fine.
What will be the problem.

Jayasimha Jangam

  • Problem with BPM Receive step

    Hy all,
I have a strage Problem with a BPM Definition into a receive step. I receive from SAP System IDoc and (per dynamic receive determination) I receive it into BPM.
But the Block that contains the receive Step can't be executed. I get following error message from XI :

Error when starting work item 000000177354
Work item 000000177345: Object FLOWITEM method EXECUTE cannot be executed
Error when executing work item '000000177354'
Runtime handle of object type  could not be created
Exception 'ex_EDIFactOrder_received' caught and transferred to the exception handler
Error when executing work item '000000177354'
    Could anyone help me please.
    Thank's a lot.

    I have following scenario :
    Block 1
    1) Infinite Loop with receive step
    2) exception creation (2 minutes) (parallel to 1))
    3) exception  handler (parallel to 1))
    Block 2
    1) Mapping steps + send Steps + container Operation steps (set of flag)
    2) Exception handler (paralle to 1))
    Block 3
    1) receive steps (where I get the error message)
    I hope it's OK

  • Problem with BPM: no receive step found for message ....

    Hello,
I have the follwing problem with a BPM ina PI 7.3 system.
I created a BPM for the following 'process':
We will receive an IDOC from SAP ECC, then call a synchronous webservice and finally send the result back to ECC.
    I created my BPM.
Now when I send the IDOC, the interface is triggered but it gets stuck in the queue with message 'No receive step found for message ...'. I get this message when I go to Tx SMQ2 and try to simulate the message
I have already refreshed the CPA cache without result however.
in SXI_CACHE I can find my IP* and the status = '0' ( So i guess this is OK )
I do not use correlations in my BPM.
In my configuration I can find my sender agreement and interface determination towards the service (abstract) which is defined in the receive step of the BPM.
Does anybody have any ideas what can be wrong ?
    Thanks,
    Erwin

Hi Erwin, delete Integration Process  in the Directory Integration and import it again.

  • Problem with BPM fix

We all know about the BPM switch fix for finding and removing dead entries from iTunes, but I have encountered a (big) problem with this. Actually, two problems, one big, and one slightly smaller:
    1. As anyone who has done this knows, it takes quite a while to write the new information to all your files, especially if you have a lot (I have 5000 songs).
    2. The bigger problem is that once you do this, syncing with you iPod takes over an hour, because every file has to be replaced.
I don't understand why iTunes can't just let show you a list of all the files that it can't find, instead of having to use a ghetto workaround like the BPM switch. If anyone has any OTHER workaround that doesn't cause this to happen, please let me know...I'll be here for a while as I wait for my ipod to finish updating....

I don't know what the "BPM Fix" is, but my fix for removing for finding dead entries is much simpler.
    Download one of these scripts:
    http://otto.homedns.org/itunes/RemoveDeadTracks.txt
    http://otto.homedns.org/itunes/FindDeadTracks.txt
Save them to your hard drive and rename them to have a ".js" extension.
While iTunes is running, double click one of them to run them. The Remove one will remove all dead tracks from your library. The Find one will just create a text file with the names of these tracks instead.
"Dead tracks" being anything that will have a ! beside it in iTunes.
*The RemoveDeadTracks script is the same one included in Apple's iTunes COM SDK. It's unmodified.
*The FindDeadTracks script is my modified version of same.

  • Problem with BPM Configuration

    Hi,
I'm not able to get the process of BPM Configuration.
    My Scenario is
            File->R/3(BAPI)->File(Response),through BPM
       1.Do i need 2 Business Service?
       Is the flow like this?
          File->IP->SAP->IP->File.
If it is correct then why do I need Business Service?
Correct me if i am wrong.
I'm very much confused with BPM,Need Help.
    Regards,
    Prashanth K.R,

    Hi Prashanth,
    >>1.Do i need 2 Business Service?
no you don't need 2 one is enough
but in fact sometimes it's good to have two...
let's say one folder ackts as a foderl for storing XML files on one server for CRM data
the second on is for txt data for EDI
if you use two then you know which folder is responsible for what...
    BTW
use can define Business Service in less then 20 seconds
    >>>File->IP->SAP->IP->File.
If it is correct then why do I need Business Service?
you use business services to define that file adapter
is not connected to any other application
if you just use a file folder on ftp then you have to create a business service to define the sender/receiver

  • Problems with BPM

    Hi,
I am working in the following scenery: File->BPM->File.
For this scenery I am using the document http://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/wlg/1822. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
I executed all the steps that are described in the document above. My doubt is in the transaction sxmb_moni only appears my outbound interface sending data for my BPM. This message appears as success. Why doesn't the message of my BPM appear sending data for my inbound interface?
Another subject is when I execute the transaction sxmb_moni_bpe is asked to select a work item. What is work item? Which work item should select?
    Thanks,
    Sérgio

    Hi Satish,
I used tcode sxmb_moni, click PE and I saw this:
    Object Type: ZXI_PROXY_MI_FILE_TO_BPM__0001
    Event: Received
    Status: Waiting because of e.
In my column with name "C" that corresponding "Outbound Status" appear a red flag. Is this normal? What should it appear?
    Thanks,
    Sérgio
Have you ever see this message?
Will I need any configuration to resoolve this problem?

  • Strange problem with BPM

    I have BPM
    Blok1
      Send Async step: Acknowledgement: Transport
      Exception brach: CannotInsert
      Deadline brach: Throw Exception CannotInsert
    Block2
      Mapping
      Send
    <b>BPM Monitoring</b>
    Mapping
Workflow System Background work item created  13:33
Workflow System Background Processing Started 13:33 tRFC Entries
Workflow System Work Item Processing Complete <b>14:02</b>
    Workflow System Result Processing             14:02
When I click on mapping I see
    Current Creation  13:33 Start 14:02 End 14:02
When deadline throws an exception   mapping works ~ 30 min
I have the same problem in other BPM with deadline.
Could someone explain me what is wrong with my BPM?
Message was edited by: Sergey A

    Sergey,
You can set different options for the deadline branch. You should choose 'Creating the step'. This will cause deadline branch being triggered after 30 minutes of creating the first block.
You can also select e.g. 'Creating the process', this will cause the deadline to be triggered 30 minutes after creating the process, whereever the process is at that moment.
    Kind regards,
    Christiaan Schaake.

    Hi Kuba
I guess you are getting this error in Linux Env and not Windows. Basically SOA/BPM opens lots of files (JARs and WARs) and I guess it do not close them properly. The root cause for your error is something else. Here is the fix. This should work.
Login into the linux machine with the root user privileges. Or ask the person who have root privileges to do this. Basically you have to increase the open file limits to much bigger number like 8192.
To change the open file limits, login as root and edit the /etc/security/limits.conf file. If the following lines are already there, just change the number to 8192. Otherwise add below 2 lines exactly. Means for all the users on this OS, the nofiles is set to 8192, instead of single user.
    * hard nofile 8192
    * soft nofile 8192
after this, make sure to RESTART the Linux box. Otherwise changes will not get reflected.
Login into unix box from any client and run this command and it should return 8192
    ulimit -n
Then start the soa server and you should be all set. Let me know if this fixes your issue (I am hoping it should).
    Thanks

  • Problem with BPm Starting

    Hy ,
I have a strange problem. I defined a BPM Objects, message (files) have been received correctly, but no instance of the BPM have been started. I simulated the same BPM with another old XI System and it works.
The error is an "Outbound Error" in the monitor (red flag).
    Thank's a lot for help.
    Matt

    Hi,
Check the SXI_CACHE and see what i sthe return code for your BPM. It should be 0. If not then try activating it from there.

  • Problem with BPM Composer Simulation

    Dear Forum Members,
When I try to start a simulation from BPM Composer, I get the following error message in an alert: va.lang.NullPointerException ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #13
Does anybody knows what that means?
    Regards.

I don't believe it is documented anywhere, but check out the names of the roles in your process.
I've gotten that error when there are either space characters or underscore characters in the role names when trying to run a simulation in Composer.

  • Problem with BPM loop end condition

    Hi,
I'm working with PI 7.1 in a BPM process which have a loop. I cant stop this loop in anyway, even, I have put a COUNTER != COUNTER as condition.
Can someone help me with this issue?
    Regards,
    Alberto Pla.

The BPM loops are while loop, so it will execute indefinitely if the condition given is true. The condition editor what we have in the BPM is not flexible. Can you just try the drag and drop facility available in the condition editor rather than writing on our own. it should look like this COUNTER!=COUNTER  without any spaces in between.

  • Problem with BPM tutorial in WLI2.1

    Hi all,
I got a problem while running the BPM Tutorial in WLI2.1 which is
about Purchase Order. I have import Tutorial.jar and set active to the
workflow. When the workflow start and flow to the node "Check
Inventory", an exception threw as shown:
The server was unable to complete your request.
System error: Unable to load class object for remote interface of type
    "com.bea.wlpi.tour.po.PurchaseOrderHome";
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:

    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
    com.bea.wlpi.tour.po.PurchaseOrderHome.

I used the domain "bpmdomain" in WLI2.1. It seems to me that the
Business operation was set properly and the related EJB can be called by
writing an EJB client. But why the BPM can't call that EJB create()? Is
there anything I have missed to set?
    Thx a lot.
    Regards,
    Karen

Sounds like something's messed up. Make sure pobean.jar is in
$WLI_HOME/lib, and deployed in config/bpmdomain/config.xml as part of the
    WLI Application.

  • Problem with XSLT Transformation on BPM

    Hi there,
I have a 1:N File --> Idocs Scenario with BPM, Inside the BPM i have an XSLT Transformation that has a problem i cant figure out, basically this XSLT Groups the file structure like this:
    <File>                                                *                  <Shipments>
       <Route>                                         *                     <Route>
          <Id>1</Id>                                   *                         <Id>1</Id>
          <delivery>1</delivery>               *                         <delivery>1</delivery>
       </Route>                                        *                         <delivery>2</delivery>
      <Route>                                          *                     </Route>
          <Id>1</Id>                                   *                     <Route>
          <delivery>2</delivery>               *                         <Id>2</Id>
       </Route>                                        *                         <delivery>3</delivery>
      <Route>                                          *                         <delivery>4</delivery>
          <Id>2</Id>                                   *                      </Route>
          <delivery>3</delivery>               *                   </Shipments>
       </Route>                                        *
       <Route>                                         *
          <Id>2</Id>                                   *
          <delivery>4</delivery>               *
       </Route>                                        *
    </File>                                               *
It's supposed to generate 1 Route Segment for each disctint Route Id on the Source file, it has always worked fine as we ran several tests before going into production system, but now, sometimes it misses a few routes for example the output will be 25 different Routes for a source file that 28, or 2 routes from a file that as 3.
I have tested the XSLT on the repository and it works fine all the time, same thing when using xml spy, i always download the payload i get from the file adapter, i got a source file from PRD that has 28 routes and i ran the whole scenario on QAS and it generated 12 routes only, im about to open an OSS message but first i wanted to know if anyone has seen something like this, thanks in advance for all the help you guys can provide.
    Best Regards,
    Roberto.
p.s. i can send the XSL if needed or anything just ask for it.

    Hi,
Basically because i  have to do 2 transformations, first i run the XSLT to group all the deliveries and such, and then i do a graphic mapping to split it into single Shipment Idocs, i dont know how to group by id on graphical mapping..., anyway i don't think the fact that im using BPM would finally alter the xslt result,
    Regards,
    Roberto.
