Problem With Business Object and printing job

Hello,
We are encountering a problem with the application "Business Objects FINANCE", and we would need your help quickly.
In the application , itu2019s impossible to print Consolidated Subsidiaries nor the Securities Held. If we try so, the application freezes and we can't do anything but killing the application via the task manager.
Though, other states can be printed without problem.
We tried on several different PCs, and the problem occured equally on each one.
The version installed is 10.5, and we can do any tests that you think would be useful to diagnose problem.

check the export parameters of the event triggering workflow.
If there is a problem, try instantiating the object in your wf based on the key.
Also check if the wf is able to import the data.

Problem with Business object attributes in UWL Workitem description

Hi All,
I have developed a workflow which sends the workitem for two level approvals. Once the workflow is triggered workitem sent to the respective user for approval. When user opens the workitem in inbox he can see all the data which comes from the 'Z' Business object in R/3 and he can approve the same. Everything works fine when this process happens in R/3 system.
The problem comes when user opens this workitem in UWL or this workitem is sent to user mail ID executing 'SWN_SELSEN' report, all the attributes of the business object are displayed in the workitem description except 2 . These are the Minimum annual salary(GRMIN) and Maximum annual salary(GRMAX) fields from 'T510N' table.

Thanks for the quick reply.
For storing the Minimum and maximum annual salary values I have created two attributes in the business object which are referring to database fields. T510N is a customizing table. I could see the values for the same, if I test the Business Object or Trigger the w/f in R/3 and check the approval work item in R/3. These values disappears only in case of web interfacing i.e. If I send the same work item to outlook mail or check it in UWL.
I had checked the same and thought if there is any problem with BO or some other processing takes place before these values are retrieved. But I wonder why this happens only if I process the work item outside R/3 system?

Problems with spots colors and printing

Hello everyone,
I am currently working on a business card for a client. The design calls for white text with an inner shadow to sit above a bar with a gradient. One of the colors in the gradient is reflex blue. When I export the file to a pdf and try to print it the text box fills with white and the graident bar changes colors and a portion of it becomes solid. I can fix the problem by printing the pdf as an image or removing the reflex blue and substituing it for another dark blue. However there really isn't a close match in cymk to Reflex Blue C. Is there a way I could continue using reflex blue ( incidentally that is one of the company colors) without these short of issues? If it helps I am using Indesign cs5, Acrobat X, Mac OS 10.6.8, using Creo Rip Software and Printing on a Xerox 700 digital press.

I tried putting the text on another layer but it didn't change anything. The only solution that has worked so far is changing the spot color, reflex blue, to a cmyk color. Here is a screen shot of the problem and some of my export options
Hopfully that helps. In a realted issue, is there a way of lowering the transperancy of a graphic that uses spot colors without changing the color? Once again the problem is reflex blue. When I lower the transparacy the color turns purplish. Thanks for the help

Problem with Retrieving objects and using info...

Ok heres my problem.
I have implemented a Queue using a linkedlist in java. Ok then i created a new object(in its own class - called Data) with two values, amount and price. I want the queue to store these two values in one Node. So i pass the values to it like this:
Data A = new Data();
A.price = Intger.parseInt(jTextField.getText());
A.amount = Integer.ParseInt(jTextField.getText());
Now I pass the Queue like this
Queue B = new Queue ();
B.enqueue(A);
Which seems to work fine, the problem is that I need to work with the numbers in the Queue, update them, put them back and retrieve them.
So I create a new Data object and try to dequeue like this:
Data C = new Data();
C = B.dequeue(); //So i can work with the two values
but this doest work. It gives me the error that it needs an object.
Am I doing it right?
Anyone got any better ideas on how to do this? - Passing and retrieving two values to one Node.
Plz help, im a newbie in Java, and cant find any tutorials on the internet.

Newbie problem with new objects and tools.

in chapter 4 of the after effects essential training series from Lynda.com in the section about controlling animation with the pick whip. when he applies the null object the red bar immediately populates (correct usage?) the timeline to the right. when i apply the null object it's hidden to the left, under all the layer info, and i need to drag it out into view.
ive found that whenever i have a problem, e.g., im using a tool and nothing is happening, it always comes down to this same thing: the layer is not with everything else and i need to drag it out into view.
not only am i new to mac, but im only marginally literate and a total newb to anything more advanced than iphoto, any advice would be appreciated.

i understand what they do and how to set them up.
my question is more specific, but also applies more generally to other tools and layers. when Ian creates his null layer in the video (as well as other layers ive seen him create) the red bar that represents his null layer immediately appears in the timeline with the begining of the red bar at the left end of the work area. it is fully visible. when i create one the file shows up in the list of layers on the panel to the left of the time line, but it is not visible in the comp window and the red bar is hidden to the left side of the visible timeline to where you have to click its right end and drag it out from behind the panel on the left.
this has happened with other layers ive created using other tools and before i figured out what to look for it was very frustrating. now, whenever i can't find something, or a tool that im using isnt doing anyhting (besides creating more and more layers) ive learned to look and see if theyre just hidden. it seems like it's probably a setting. but clearly, something is different: he creates a null layer and it appears in the timeline, and mine appear slid to the left.

Pdf reader X has problems with small pdf and printer with post script driver

Hi friends.
I have installed new Reader X and then i saw that, when i print a very small pdf with about 50 kb and i print it on a Laserjet 4000 printer the printer has problem with the amount of data that reader 10 produces.
When i install a Postscript driver for the printer my computer makes up to 3.5MB printer data from a 50kb pdf.
When i install a PCL driver for the printer my computer makes only 350kb from the same 50kb pdf file!!!!
When i install Reader 9.3 the 50kb file becomes also only 350kb on the printer with post script driver, and i can print without problems also.
my printer has 8 MB Ram and that should be enough for 3.5MB printer data.
But when i print the pdf with 1 side only, the printer created a side who is only filled with 50% of the text, then there comes out a second page with the message.....not enough memory in the printer.
i can not change the postscript driver to a pcl driver cause our ERP System can not handle printer with PCL drivers.
Can someone help me please.........are there settings in Reader X who can solve my problem ???

I have a link button associated with the business object oContacts which should be the object Id 33, but when I click on the link button will open the form of Activities. Is perhaps the wrong object ID?

After opening BP form in beforeaction = true and formload event click on the pane contact persons by code (after click to link button store in some variable true value that will bp opened from link and than click on correct pane and set the varaible back to false).

the version you have appear to be XI3.1 RTM, which will not be compatible with Win2012.

to resolv the import wizard problem, I have changed in the CMC, the CMS proprity for the " demand Port " to add the port number 6400 and unable the check box " automatcally affect".
So , I can not log on BO .
Any person have this problem?

first of all remeber that if you change the sarver name port when you log on on CMC or CCM you have to name the server with the new port in the field system:
<servername>:<port> es. PIPPO:6350

Problems with PDFs, Reader, and Printing

My web application exports PDF files using SQL Server Reporting Services. The exported PDF files are version 1.3 (supposedly compatible with Adobe Acrobat version 4 and higher). Previously I used Crystal Reports which output PDF files as version 1.2.
This switch to 1.3 has caused havoc with SOME of my ASP (application service provider) customers because if they use Adobe Reader 8 to print the PDFs then they get obscure printing errors (the header of one page prints and then a printed error message of ERROR: Undefined COMMAND: 1b&) with certain Xerox workgroup printers (and not with most other printers). If they use Adobe Reader 7, then they have no problems at all with ANY of the printers.
So, at its core, this is a problem somewhere with Adobe PDF files, PDF versions, printers and their drivers, and the latest version of Adobe Reader (8.1.2). I would like to think that the latest version of any software should work better and my customers won't have to go back to Adobe Reader 7.0 to print things.
Is this a bug in Adobe Reader 8.1.2? What are the workarounds?

Problem with Business Objects 4.0 SP2 Windows install

    I have followed the steps outlined by Mr. Gingle's blog "Caboodle - Part 3 - The BOBJ4 Install"   Caboodle - Part 3 - The BOBJ4 Install
to do a vanilla BusinessObjects 4.o SP2 Windows install. The install goes fine but I do not see the Server Intelligence Agent

     Thanks for getting back to me. One question, Do I need to install CMS seperately or the does
     the BusinessObjects installs it?
     When I did the BusinessObjects install it installed the Microsoft SQL server 2008 Express and created an
     SQL Server Instance named BOE140. I checked with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (which I downloaded from Microsoft) and saw that no tables were created.
     Regarding the message
     "(.\crypto.cpp:199). (FALSE : digest exception: The FIPS140 shared library could not be found (10027))."
     listed in the log file above, what is my system missing.
     Looks like CMS is not getting installed.
     I am doing the install on a VMware Windows 2008 system with 8 GB ram and 50 GB file space.
     Are there any special requirements of configuration on the Windows system?

Problem with business place and section code in miro screen

hi experts,
i have done the following config. for validate the b/place and section code at the time of invoice and payment.
in prerequisite-com.code=l001 and (posting key=31 or posting key=29 or posting key=21
in check-business place=1001 and section code=1001
by this config. in t code fv60 and f-48 b/place and section code showing mandatory but in miro screen w/o b/place and section code system alowing to save the entry.
please suggest me where i am wrong and what to do next?

i have written the condition as follows
in prerequisite:bseg-bukrs=l001 and (bseg-bschl=31 or bseg-bschl=29 or bseg-bschl=21)
in check:bseg-bupla=1001 and bseg-secco=1001
by doing this in fv60 and f-48 screen is not allowing to post w/o b/place and section code but in miro screen system allow me to post w/o b/place . if i validate the miro screen then after giving the b/place it is not allowing me to post the same and giving the error message which i have created.
how to solve this problem?
please suggest me and please give me the steps.

My JWS launched application fails when loading a serialized object that has been instatiated from a class not contained in the signed jar-file. Does anyone know why this happens and if there is some workaround for the problem?
