Problem with buttons in datatable header

Hi
I have command buttons in the datatable header .When I display the data in columns there is a gap between buttons .I want the buttons should be stretched automatically along with column data there should not be no gap between buttons regardless how big the data is in each column.
Can anybody help me asap.

This issue is that the second header is an instance of the first, so all unmanaged relative code breaks. I would hazzard a guess to say that your add code looks like "$.parent.row1.instanceManager.addInstance(1)." This will break, as the "second" header row no longer sees the 'table' element as it's parent.
Changing to code to a static reference will fix it... i.e. xfa.form.form1.table1.row1.instanceManager.addInstance(1).
This should solve it for you... if not, let me know.

Problem with selectOneMenu in Datatable

Hi
I have the following datatable that binds correctly to a set of Game objects.
I need to have a dropdown with the numbers 1 to 10 as items which is bound to each dataItem's newRating field.
However there is some problem with the dropdown that i can't figure out. The datatable stops rendering when it hits the first dropdown.
At the moment,
The new rating field in the Game class is of type SelectItem with the appropriate get and set methods.
Could anyone please point out what I'm doing wrong

What do you mean by stops rendering? Can you paste the relevant portion of the output (from view source in the browser).

Problem with buttons in page fragment

Hi,
I'm developing a jsp-page, which has two page-fragments and one inline frame..
I've a problem with one page-fragment. This one contains three buttons, for changing the language. When someone pushes the button, it seems that there is no action triggered...

Hi Ann,
I was working with dropdowns in pagefragments consequent to your query. I noticed that there is a problem with the dropdowns too. This especially happens if you have the same components in both the page fragments. For example buttons in both the page fragments or dropdowns in both page fragments etc.

Problem with buttons in Content Viewer iPad app

Hi,
I'm having a problem with my navigation once my app is viewed on the iPad. All pages in all of my articles are using the same master page for a menu button, and they all work when I view the app through the Content Viewer on my desktop. Once I log in to the Content Viewer on my iPad, however, the menu button on the first page of every article doesn't work. I did a test of swapping the first page with the second page in one of the articles, and the original page's menu button then worked while the second page's (now located at the beginning) wasn't being read. Other buttons on the first page work (which are also from the master page), it's just the menu button that makes my table of contents box appear. I have eleven articles in my folio and it's happening on the first page of every single one. Not too sure what's going on here, any help is appreciated.

I also figured out after playing around with it a bit more that this only happens when "Horizontal swipe only" is checked in the properties.

PDF Exaprom, problem with multitext in one header

Problem is,that according to my simply thiking when I connect two elements Append Text HF one by one serialy with some text in header, and in their properties I set alligment both of them at left- MIDDLE in my opinion it suppose to overwrite one text on secand. When I set one text at left-MIDDLE and secont text in center-MIDDLE is should firstly create one text at left side, another at the middle. I doesn't.... When you try to combine with alligment of text,you easly notice,that when it's creating first text at the left side,it devide page on 3 and locate it at 1 collumn, and then when you pass this PDF Report to second Append Text HF this subVI divide not the same lenght of the side, but those 2-3 columnt whose left!!!! In effect text wich suppose to be at center of document is the center of 2-3 parts of document.
Do I doing something wrong or is it program bug?

I managed to deal with that, but unfortanatly I have another problem.
In help context of create table.vi you can read that in cell can be eiter text or pictures. I want to add 2D array of pictures and it show mistake. Do I ones again don't understand description or I have to do it in other way? I just wanted to create table ona the page,which will contain pictures, let's say 2x2 size table, picture in each cell. Is it possible to using this program?

Specific problem with buttons and states

I have a problem with InDesign not solve. It is for a digital publication.
My goal is:
A 'gallery' button is pressed and the ball image appears with three buttons: "Previous image", "Next image" and "close gallery".
I do not want the gallery to be visible, or buttons that control, until the button is pressed "gallery", so I think all buttons except "gallery" with the "hidden until activated" option selected.
I want the gallery, and buttons that control it, disappears when I press the button "close gallery".
What I call "Gallery" is an image that fills the screen.
After placing the image on your site have become the property button "Hidden until activated."
Then convert this button in order to several states (what I will call "button states") and by the successive states with the images I want to show in the gallery.
I think the interactions of the buttons.
When button "gallery" I assign the following "I click the"
- "Go to state"
- Hide "gallery"
- Show "close gallery"
- Show "previous picture"
- Show "next image"
- Show "button states."
The buttons "Previous Image" and "Next Image" are assigned, respectively, to go to previous state and go to the next state.

I'm afraid the way you're doing this is not going to work with DPS.
This should all be done with a multi state object. The first state would contain nothing but a button to go to the first state. After that set up each state with the proper buttons. Without seeing the file it's a bit difficult for me to envision exactly what you want to do.

I've tried a few different forums on the net and so far there has been no reponse to my problem below. My coursework is due in tomorrow and I'm at my wits end.
I am really new to Flash and am having a problem with my application. I have created a button that I want to use to activate some pre-recorded film. I know I need to use some code to do this, however I can't seem to get it right.
I have deleted the film from the library as I thought it may be a problem in how I imported the .flv files, so I will need to reimport these (with some advice on how to do it right).
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Problem with buttons in repeated table header

I have a bunch of tables that expand/contract at the click of a button in their respective header rows.
The problem I'm having is when a table breaks to another page the button doesn't work properly in the repeated header - the scripted value isn't making it to the repeated button (I've also tried checkboxes).
Is there any way to make this happen? Should I try using variables to store a flag or something like that?

Problem with Buttons/Form Fields in Acrobat PDF when created in InDesign CS4

So I have been working for quite some time on an interactive form for an internal client at my job. It has two major components, one is the side bar navigation, which I created using buttons in InDesign which link to bookmarks in the document. The second aspect is that I also created "check boxes" accoring to this video: http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/cs4/articles/lrvid4434_ds.html
I have two major issues:
1. Whenever I try to convert my boxes to form fields in Acrobat it will not recognize them unless I save out 4 pages at a time (rather than the whole document).
2. I then have to combine the document and get multiple sets of bookmarks, and some bookamrks are corrupted (not working properly). Even when I try to convert the whole document some of the buttons are corrupted.
UGH tired of this project, I am really bastardizing the whole thing to get it done, but want to figure out the problem as this is an ongoing document that we will be using over and over again in future years.
I am attaching the pdf file--this is a pieced together one (saved out 4 pages at a time) (which I did do some fixes to to get buttons to go to proper locations) and the original indesign file (partial file due to size).

Acrobat's Form Wizard is good but not perfect when creating form data from a PDF. I have never encountered Acrobat not able to finish the process of creating all form fields, but have encountered very slugish performance afterwards when there was a lot of forms, buttons, and other elements within the pages. And I would say, from your attached PDF, it is pretty heavy with content. I am going to suggest an idea, but I have not tested this to see if it would work.
In InDesign, create a layer for your navigation tabs, and a layer for your text with the check boxes. Create two PDFs from ID, one PDF with just your-nav tabs, the second with just your text with check boxes. In Acrobat, perform the Form Wizard on the second PDF and see if this will finish, the idea here is to reduce the cllutter for the Form Wizard to finish. If it does, you can merge the first PDF as a layer with the second to have a completed document. Again, I have not tested this theory.

Problems with sub-items and header attributes in complains

Hello Gurus!
I am relatively new to the enterprise services and I have a requirement to create a complain with one product and a child product (items 1000 and 1010) but I tried several ways the service and no matter what I do I always get 2 items without relationship between them. I have tried specifying the parent item ID during create (did not expect to work as parent has also not been created yet) and also tried the BusinessTransactionDocumentReference, but also did not work or did not use the content correctly, in the ES Workplace there is not much info about the possible values for this data segment and it's not returned when I read an existing complain (so I think it is not the way to go)
Finally, the question is... can I create a complain using the enterprise service CustomerComplaintCRMCreateRequ and with the header, item and subitem in the same step or must I create first and then update? (Like the manual process would be)

Hi Milos,
If nothing at all has synchronized, I would first double check your connection settings and passwords.
If the synch appears to to be connecting correctly, you will need to look at the data that it is failing on.
The synch queue is the prx_transaction_queue table in the Business One database. The object_type column refers to a Business One object. 2 for business partner and 4 for items. The list_of_cols_val_tab_del is the key in the associated table. For business partners that is OCRD.CardCode and items OITM.ItemCode.
First determine that there is no bad data in the queue. Bad data is typically defined as null or empty strings in the list_of_cols_val_tab_del column.
Try running the following for business partners:
select *
from prx_transaction_queue
where object_type = 2 and (list_of_cols_val_tab_del is null or list_of_cols_val_tab_del = '')
And this for Items.
select *
from prx_transaction_queue
where object_type = 4 and (list_of_cols_val_tab_del is null or list_of_cols_val_tab_del = '')
If there are nulls or empty strings in the list_of_cols_val_tab_del column, delete them.
If not, take a look at the first records in the queue.
select top 1 *
from prx_transaction_queue
where object_type = 2
order by tmstmp
and for items:
select top 1 *
from prx_transaction_queue
where object_type = 4
order by tmstmp
Change the transaction_type to "X" (remember what is was, because you will need to change it back). Changing this value will remove the item from the synch.
Rerun the synch.
If it runs at this point, there is probably data in the records that the synch was not expecting. The business partner data will need to be examined. Tics in key values (CardCode, Address Name, contact name, itemcode) may cause problems.
If this is the case, you might want to contact support to try to track the problem down.
Another source of problems may be database collation. We can talk about that if none of the above works.

Smartwatch 2 problem with button

I have for a few weeks the SW 2. It works good but..
I have to press so hard on the (only) button for starting the 'android-like" interface.
Sometimes I have to press 5 times for 1 succesfull hit.
You have to press 2 times to reach the menu...
It goes better when i have the watch in my hand and i can press with my thumb.
But with the watch around my wrist it is not easy.
Are there any persons with the same problem ?
My forefinger already hurts.
Isn't it posseble to go to the menu with double-click somthing like that ?

Problems with buttons in video

Hi there,
I did a project with only one slide with a slide video and a few klickable buttons. So, I want to create an interactive video with all interaction within the videoplayer, so that one can watch the video fullframe.
Klick on a button stops the video and calls a picture, which I put in the timeline of the slide video in a seperate layer. Here is the extended action, which is called by clicking on the button
When klicking on the called picture, the picture disappears and the video resumes. Here is the advanced action, which is called by clicking on the picture:

Problems:
1. When the video resumes after klicking first on a button and then on the called picture and you want to go back in the video-timeline and klick the button a second time, the button don't appear a second time (or the picture appears instead of the button)
2. The button around 6:30 never appears but every time, the picture which should be called by klicking the button appears directly. I use the same kind of advanced action like at all other buttons, but it don't work:
I think about, if my strategy of putting all on one slide, is right...
...maybe it would be better to call a seperate slide by clicking on the buttons, and not a picture on the timeline of the slide with the slide video. But: I didn't found a way to jump back to the exact position of the slide video, from where the picture is called. Is there any possibility to do that?
Has anybody an idea, what to do, so that all buttons work reliable in the intended way?

I'm using version 32 of the viewer in DPS Folio Properties. I'll describe what I made:
I created an MSO and Scrollable Frame on one page. Inside the MSO are 13 states. Inside the Scrollable Frame are buttons that link to each MSO state.
When I tested it on the latest Content Viewer on my iPad Air, the Scrollable Frame works. The buttons also work, they're able to change the state of the MSO -- BUT ONLY when the Scrollable Frame is STILL, not in motion.
This is the problem: When the Scrollable Frame is in motion and I want to stop the motion as well as tap the Button that I want to go to, the tap does not change the MSO state. But the Click state of the button does change (Normal state: purple, Click state: light purple). Then when I try to tap the button again, or any other button that is in view, the entire Scrollable Frame freezes.
When I tested this on the Desktop, it works perfectly. The Buttons are able to change the MSO states when I tap them, even as the scrollable frame is in motion.
Why does this not work on the iPad?
PS. I tested all viewer versions from 20-32 on DPS and I still get the same problem.

Problems with buttons on embedded swf files or workaround how to loop mp3s? ...

I'm new to the topic of flash and rich media in pdf files so please forgvie me if I ask a Newbie question.
Here's the situation. I have an image slide show of ~18s and an audio file of ~3mins that I want to play as loops embedded in a pdf file.
I tried the following:
1) Created an swf file of the slide show with audio included, embedded in pdf -> works, but the swf file is off, since audio starts over with slide show, i.e-. after 18s.
2) Created an swf file of the slide show and an mp3, embedded two objects in pdf -> Audio can be muted by button (multimedia_pause), but won't loop
3) Created two swf files: one for the slide show, one audio only, embedded two objects in pdf -> Audio loops, but cannot be muted by button (multimedia_pause)
So can please somebody give me a hint on how to loop the mp3 file (preferred, smaller total file size) or why the mute button action won't work on the swf-file?
Any enlightening link is also most welcome! Thanks in advance!

I know your reply was created nearly a year ago, but hoping you see it. I have the similar problem. My captivate contains audio whereby the audio is embedded on each slide, indepent of each slide within the captivate file. So, for a captivate course that has 10 slides, I'll have 10 audio files, one audio file (.mp3) on each slide.
OK, now each slide has each audio file timed perfectly with captions that appear on each slide. So that when the audio (a narrator) says for example:
"The user places the date and top of the page when the test failed ...and then the individual then signs at the bottom where indicated."
There would be 2 captions - One caption for the first part of the .mp3, and one caption for the second part of the audio. (all on one .mp3 on the main timeline)
When I press the Pause/Play button the .mp3 it just repeats itselve over and I hear the same voice running on top of each other in unison. Not sure how I can fix this where the Pause button on the control bar (the only control bar on the entire course), pauses everything on the slide.
Do you see what I am saying?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Problems with button inside draggable movie clip

I am building a click through presentation that has some small text in it. To maintain the design and allow for readability, I have added a zoom feature.
Here is the structure of the movie,
Stage - contains pages movie clip and forward/reverse click buttons for changing pages
pages_mc - contains 24 frames, one page per frame and buttons
There is a button at the _root level that uses a tweener to scale the pages_mc up to 170%. When this is clicked, it allows the pages to be dragged around the screen so you can look at different sections. When you click the button again, it returns the pages back to their original size stops drag.
My problem is, on the pages, there are buttons with links to external sites. Once startDrag has been invoked, I cannot touch the buttons inside the movie clip. Is there a way to make these buttons work?
I need the finished quickly so any assistance is welcome.

One option is to make the background of the pages be the draggable parts rather than the movieclips that contain the pages and buttons. That way, the buttons could be atop the background and not have their access blocked.
Instead of coding the pages_mc, you would essentially have the background coded for the drag...
