Problem with Capture Device Formats
Hi!, i have 2 questions:
On Windows the direction of the camera that is connected is: vfw:Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32):0
What is the direction on Linux?
And the second:
In some PCs (only two), when I try get the camera's supported formats, I don´t get any, but if I run the JMF Studio if I displayed, why can it be?
the code is:
public Vector ObtenerFormatosSopotados() throws NoDataSourceException, IOException{
Vector<Format> vectorFormatos = new Vector<Format>();
//comprobamos que el origen de datos en un dispositivo de captura(webcam)
if (this.origenDatos instanceof CaptureDevice) {
FormatControl[] fcs = ((CaptureDevice) this.origenDatos).getFormatControls();
for (FormatControl fc : fcs) {
Format[] formats = ((FormatControl) fc).getSupportedFormats();
for (Format format : formats) {
if(format instanceof RGBFormat)
vectorFormatos.add(format);
return vectorFormatos;
}In the most of PCs I've had no problems, the RGB Formats are show.
Thank!!

On Windows, you should use "vfw://0" if you're hard-coding the media locator...
What is the direction on Linux?On Linux, you should use "vfl://0" if you're hard-coding the media locator...
In some PCs (only two), when I try get the camera's supported formats, I don´t get any, but if I run the JMF Studio if I displayed, why can it be?It'd be helpful if you specified how deep into your code the failure states reach. For instance, it's a much different issue if (this.origenDatos instanceof CaptureDevice) fails than if you aren't getting any format controls or if you're not getting any supported formats.
With the amount of information I have, I'm going to suggest you don't have JMF installed correctly / linked correctly on those failure machines.

Hi Support,
I am trying to use FMLE to encode and stream video from an Axis P1346 IP camera, via Axis' Streaming Assistant software, to a Wowza server.
Everyting appears to be working perfectly and the encoding and resultant stream quality is excellent. Sometimes after a few hours and sometimes after just a few minutes, the encoding will stop with the following error:
Tue Mar 26 2013 11:47:18 : Session Stopped
Tue Mar 26 2013 11:47:18 : Problem with capture device. Incorrect samples given by the device. Stopping encoding session.
I have attached a recent log of a session that only lasted a few minutes - do you have any ideas on how to resolve this instability?

Hi all,
I am trying to capture my screen to stream starcraft 2 on ustream. im using VH capture and fmle. As of now it will only output and input an area near the top left corner. As soon as i try to resize it to the full screen i get the error i put in the subject header. My system is beefy enough (i7 8gb ram), but my video card is a radeon 5770. could that be a problem? What else can i do to fix this? All ATI drivers, VH capture drivers and fmle are up to date, i just installed and updated everything today 11/24/10.
VH capture settings
Capture tab:
Left: 560
Top: 240
Width 240
Height 360
These settings are the default and the only settings that will work.Please attach the session log file.

Problem with Excel output format
Hi Guys,
I am creating a report in XML Publisher (not standalone). I am facing some problems could anyone please help me to figure out the issues.
Is it possible to have all three output format (PDF, HTML & EXCEL) exact (same aligned) only by creating a single RTF Template? I am facing the problem with Excel output format the output format of excel is taking excels cell formatting.
Example Numeric fields --> Right Aligned, text fields --> Left Aligned
One more issue with excel is -ve(negative) values are getting displayed in red and in brackets like ($13) (with red color).
Our client want excel output on priority.
Is there any limitation for excel output format of reports?
It is very urgent for us please help.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pragati
Edited by: user11237443 on Aug 27, 2009 1:22 AMHi Mahi,
Thanks for your response. But i could not understand how can we write wrapper program could you please give some light on this or provide some link it would be helpful for me:-)
I have read that blog for excel limitations but i have more question?
1) What about the negative values?
if any field is displaying negative amount then excel not displaying right value for that:(
2)How can we align header or data?
Do XMLP with EBS provide any solution for formatting in excel?
3) If for the alignment of numeric value we concatenate them with any special character then how can we perform calculation that field?
Here are so many formatting issues do we need to write any code in xml for that?
Please help.
Many Thanks,

I am unable to properly print a playlist in the jewel case format. All lines bunch together. I have no problem with other print formats. Help please.
If it is a USB powered external, no AC adpater, that may be the reason. Mac notebooks are known to have low powered USB ports. You can get around that with a Y USB cable to connect to 2 USB ports at the same time.

Problem with exporting devices to non-global zone
Hi,
I've problem with exporting devices to my solaris zones (i try do add support to mount /dev/lofi/* in my non-global zone).

global# lofiadm
Block Device File
/dev/lofi/1 /root/SAP_DB2_9_LUW.iso
/dev/lofi/2 /usr/tmp/fsfile
I reboot the non-global zone, even reboot global-zone, and after that, in sapdev zone, there is no /dev/*lofi/* files.
What i do wrong? Maybe I reduce my sol 10 u4 sparc instalation too much.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks for help,
MarekI experienced the same problem on my system Sol 10 08/07.
Normally, when the zone enters the READY state during boot, it's zoneadmd will run devfsadm -z <zone>. In my understanding this is to create the necessary device files in ZONEPATH/dev.
This worked well until recently. Now only the directories are still created.
It seems as if devfsadm -z is broken. Somebody should issue a call to sun.
As a workaround you can easily copy the device files into the zone. It is important not to copy the symbolic link but the target.
# cp /dev/lofi/1 ZONEPATH/dev/lofi
Hope this helps,

Problem with capturing of baselines
Hi !
I have a problem with capturing of baselines- when the SQL is called from PL/SQL code...
For example if I execute in SQL* Plus session
alter session set optimizer_capture_sql_plan_baselines = true;
exec dbms_mview.refresh('VIEW_CLIENT_KONTO', 'C');
exec dbms_mview.refresh('VIEW_CLIENT_KONTO', 'C');
nothing happens ..I do not find the baseline in dba_sql_plan_baselines...
========================================================
optimizer_use_sql_plan_baselines = TRUE..of course and I can capture baselines for plain SQL -only not if SQL ist invoked from PL/SQL..
Now, nowere in documentation could I find that capturing does not work from PL/SQL ..that would, in my opinion, be sderious disadvantage- so much code in the database runs as PL/SQL..
We habe Oracle 11.2.0.3 Enterprise Edition
optimizer_features_enable = 11.2.0.3
What could be worng here..did I forget certain parameter or setting. Thanks for your help in advance.Now, nowere in documentation could I find that capturing does not work from PL/SQL ..that would, in my opinion,

SQL> So, nothing to do with that.
I would suggest that it is because, being executed via DBMS_MVIEW, it is special and bypasses consideration for baselines.
Can we somehow circumvent this?
Perhaps, baselines being a pretty flexible vehicle that work off SIGNATURE (and PLAN_HASH_2).
Let's double check the signature and plan hash we need to reproduce.

SQL> And replace the materialized view with a table:
SQL> drop materialized view mv1;
Materialized view dropped.

Table created.
SQL> And try to get a statement with the same signature and plan that does use a baseline:

SQL> So....
Are baselines created for sql statements executed from PLSQL? Yes.
Are baselines created for internal statements from DBMS_MVIEW? No.
Why? Don't know. But I think it's expected behaviour.
Is there a convoluted way of applying a baseline to the internal refresh statement? Yes. -
Hi all. I recently restore my old iphone 5 on my new 6. I'm having problems with bluetooth devices. The ones that were already paired with the old one are not showing in the list, and most of them(not all) are not working or pairing. I already restored network settings to no avail. Any ideas?
What's more, they don't even show on the bluetooth devices list..

In the NetPro discussion I found that the list of PoE devices is in the following file:
POECapableDeviceTypes.properties
but I cann't to find thid file in the campus directory. In the campus folder are following folders: bin, etc, lib and www.
Thank you
RomanThe file is in NMSROOT/campus/www/classpath/com/cisco/nm/ani/clients/campus/main/filters/POECapableDeviceTypes.properties.

Problem with input data format - not "only" XML
Hi Experts,
I have problem with input data format.
I get some data from JMS ( MQSeries) , but input format is not clear XML.
This is some like flat file with content of XMLu2026.
Example:
0000084202008-11-0511:37<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Document xmlns="urn:xsd:test.01" xmlns:xsi=http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance Sndr="0001" Rcvr="SP">
...content....
</Document>000016750
Problems in this file is :
1. data before parser <? xml version="1.0"> -> 0000084202008-11-0511:37
2. data after last parser </Document> -> 000016750
This data destroy XML format.
Unfortunately XI is not one receiver of this files and we canu2019t change this file format in queue MQSeries ( before go to XI) .
My goal is to get XML from this file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Document xmlns="urn:xsd:test.01" xmlns:xsi=http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance Sndr="0001" Rcvr="SP">
...content....
</Document>
My questions:
1. Is any way or technique to delete this data 0000084202008-11-0511:37 in XI from this file ?
2. Is any way to get only XML from this file ?
Thanx .
Regards,
SeoHi Buddy
What is the XI adapter using?
If you use inbound File adapter content conversion you could replace these values with none and then pass it to the scenario.
Does that help?

Problems with captured animation
Goodmorning,
We have a problem with captured animations.
We have created a few movies which have some captured animations.
When we play the movies, they do work. After saving and reopening most of them don't work anymore,
and only the part with the captured animation. The screens goes fully white while playing the animation.
Only the text balloons are visable...
We work on a group directory with captivate 3. Recently the flash player is updated to version 10.
We both are opening the files, not at the same time.
Questions:
Anybody aware of the problem ?
Anybody with any solution ?
Does anybody knows where captivate stores captured animations ?
For example. When I look in the library, i can see four captured animations, when i want to update them, i dont see any of them.
Brdgs MarcHi there
I believe you are talking about a Full Motion Recording (FMR). If this is Captivate 3, likely you are seeing an issue whereby Flash Player 10 is causing a problem.
If you revert to Flash Player 9 you should see the preview within Captivate again. Or, if you choose not to downgrade the Flash Player, you may elect to avoid previewing in Captivate and instead preview in the Web Browser.
Cheers... Rick

Problem with playback Device please help
When im talking to someone on skype i cant listen to anything else but the skype call. If im listening to music or watching a video and i try to call somebody it says problem with payback device and won't let me call or answer a call. What do i do?
I'm also having this problem, but with a fun side effect; if a program is running outside of the windows "desktop" app (so, for example, if the Skype app is making 'message recieved' noises) they'll still play. I have Windows 8, and I've seen some solutions about resetting the audio endpoint builder, but I don't know how to do that on Windows 8 and I can't find anything that'll tell me.

Problem with downloading 2007 formats
I have a problem with downloading 2007 format files in my application. We can upload the 2007 formats without any problem. But, When we try to download them, we are receiving a 'Page cannot be displayed' error.
When we add the corresponding MIME-TYPES into IIS(Version 6.0) of the system(Test Environment), the problem got resolved. But there was a constraint to add the MIME-TYPES in the Production Box.
Can you please provide any alternate solution using CF code. I am pasting my sample code that my system is using for this.For CF to set the MIME type for those files, it would have to be configured as a handler for those file extensions. By default, CF doesn't process requests for files other than .cfm, .cfc, etc.
You could write a download application that uses CFCONTENT to push files to the client, but the user would have to request your CF page, which might have a URL like this:
http://yourserver/download.cfm?file=myfile.docx
Or, you could map those file extensions to CF, but that would be a bad idea for several reasons. Even if it wasn't a bad idea, it would be harder to change on the server than the MIME types in IIS.
Frankly, you should fix this the right way - by having the server administrator add the correct MIME types.
