Problem with Click Box Last Attempt functionality

I am trying to create a course like the Photoshop course found here

I have a project that gives the user a maximum of 2 attempts to perform an action on a page before they can move to the next slide.
If on the second attempt they get it wrong Last attempt is set to jump to a page saying they have got the step wrong and should revisit the course material.
My project only has 2 of these interactions on separate pages, one after another.
The problem I have is the interaction on the first page does not jump to failure page, but the second page does if I exceed the Attemps.
I am confused
A matter of fact I actually just duplicated the first page to create the second. Action settings are the same. On Success go to next slide, Attempts 2, Last attempt Jump to slide.
I am working in W7 Cp 6.01.240. I have also cleared the cache.
One unusual thing I have noticed is that if I get the last interaction wrong and revisit the course material, the first interaction behaves on the next attemp. ????
The last interaction does have Reporting enabled as I want to tell the LMS that the student has made it to the end of the assessment and passed.
I thought that maybe the problem so I set the fisrt interaction to report also but that did not work.
Any Ideas?
And sure enough the sample course I downloaded works perfect. I am positive I have got mine set the same.

How can I display the failure caption with click box when using function keys to navigate a sim?

I am using the keyboard function keys to navigate a simulation using Click Boxes. For instance, F7 advances the simulation to the next screen, but if the learner selects F5, a failure caption displays. I have tried deleting and re-entering the click box, placing the click box at the top of the timeline levels, starting the click box at 0 and 0.5, making the click box visible and invisible, and make the click box the entire size of the screen.

Multiple text boxes with click box verification

I have seen issues similar to mine but they do not address my problem specifically. To minimize file size I have two text entry boxes on the same slide. The user is instructed to enter text then click the submit button. The user is allowed 1 try. On sucess the user goes to the next slide, on failure the slide continues until it runs into the second text entry box.
The first box works fine. If the correct data is entered the project moves to the next slide. If the data is in error the slide progresses to the next text entry box. At that point I can enter data but the box over the submit button does not work. The odd thing is that, if I move the second box to a different area on the slide, the second box works fine. It's as though the first box, after being clicked, sheilds the second box. I have switched the boxes in the time line and I get the same result. After clicking the first box, I can't get to the second. I'm fairly certain I have the boxes set up correctly, otherwise why would one work and not the other. Any thoughts?

It would be nice if the verification click boxes sort of traded positions based on which text entry box is active. The text entry boxes work that way. When I input the wrong data and click submit, it moves to the next text entry box and the data I just entered is cleared. It would appear that the first text entry box either disappears or the second text entry box moves to the top because I can enter data. However the click box remains hidden. Placing the click boxes in two locations won't work. I am trying to approximate the performance of the application and there is only one submit button.
I do have a work around. Here's what I do:
I place a text entry with click box verification on slide 3. The learner is allowed one try. The setting for 'on success' is to jump to slide 5. The setting for 'after last attempt' is go to next slide.
I place the second text entry with click box verification on slide 4. Again, the learner is allowed one try. The setting for success is go to next slide. The setting for 'after last attempt' is continue. I add text animation and the mouse click to slide 4 to demonstrate to the learner what should have been done. Once that has run, the project goes to slide 5.
The are two drawbacks to the work around.
It's always best to minimize the number of slides (bandwidth/Captivate performance)
I have found the jump function sometimes gets out of whack.
The advantage is that it works.

and in one table. For easily explanation I will describe problem on two
periods.For instance, user want to display and compare
on chart date (type monthly -sum data of each month) from 2007.02 u2013 2007.05
with date from 2006.03 u2013 2006.06. So we compare month 2007.02 with 2006.03;
2007.03 with 2006.04; 2007.04 with 2006.05; 2007.05 with 2006.06
On char I would like to display bars with comparison
of months.
Problem is that I donu2019t know how to write
something similar. I can use one period without any problems, but two and mores
I canu2019t realized.
Detail description:
I passed
two parameters two report:
{?from}, {?to} u2013for first period
{?offset}, it means {?from}+{?offset},

On axis Y I have Sum(intDate);On
X (year + month). But on each value x( example 20007.02) I need to have
two values (bars). Value for standard period and offset.

limits user only for two periods (I want to compare more).
My idea for compare only two
periods:
I make one query in CR for one
period and second query for second period.
Firs query:

Studio 2005. Maybe from aspx we can manipulate with date to get exact solution,
and solve problem with SELECT.

I have had similar problem before.
Because I had too many data, the legend would not display all the data. Also the chart would not display all the data. But I was able to find a work around.
In your case, Right click on the Legend text and click on Format Legend Entry.
Change the font of the legend to 4 (which is the minimum). This may work.
If you are also having problem with data labels, you could change the font size of the data labels.

Problem with the MVMapView.print(printMapDiv,) function.

I have a problem with the MVMapView.print(printMapDiv,) function.
My FOIs are displayed correct on the screen but on the printed letter
the stroke(border) color and the labels of a circle are not displayed.
the fois have a custom style:

Thanks for your reply but it is not working and i can prove that.
I have a small example based on the mapviewer print tutorial. To run it you need a
mapviewer installation and copy the text into a html file. In the browser you can see
a green point with a red border and red label text on a map.
If you use the print button everything except the label text will be printed.
I think this is a mapviewer css-api bug.

Problems with Click a row in the Table

Dear All,
I am new to Java GUI. I got some problems with clicking the row in a table.
My table allows the user to delete some rows fromt the table. When the user click a row or some rows in my table, the delete button should be enabled. It does work in most of the time. But sometimes, even the row being hight lighted, the button is still not enabled.
Do you have any idea for what can cause this problem?
What I did is :
1. add a mouse listener to the table
_userTable.addMouseListener(new java.awt.event.MouseAdapter()
public void mouseClicked(MouseEvent e)
userList_mouseClicked(e);
2. then, if the row being selected is > 0, I will enable my delete button.

I am getting problems with single selection in a table. Although I have set the selection model to single, if I select a row int the table and then depress Ctrl/Shift multiple rows are selected.
The code for set single selection is :

seleModel.setSelectionMode(ListSelectionModel.SINGLE_SELECTION);
Any idea about this? Is this a bug in JAVA?

I am having problems with copy and then paste function

Problems with internet box, not wireless router

I recently got another internet box hoping my problem with disconnections would be solved but sadly it hasn't... This is the second internet box I have gotten from Verizon and it wasn't any better. The first one kept disconnecting me from the internet and I called tech support and they couldn't help me so they just ended up sending me a new box. I thought it might be the wireless router but that didn't solve the problem either. Is there any way to get a newer better box because it seems like the generic box that Verizon sends doesn't last very long and recently I've been disconnecting from the internet anywhere from 2-3 times a day. Being a college student with all my homework online and a sister and brother also in college makes it really difficult when I can't rely on staying connected. If anyone can help with this I would be very happy.

Problem with clicking CheckBox eswith eCATT recording

Hi All,
Iam using SAP GUI 640,ECC500.
Am trying to set some default setting in Finance Transaction FB00 with clicking some checkboxes.
So,After i recorded with clicking checkboxes,For testing that recording i unchecked the check boxes manually and executed the script .but i dont see any boxes checked after i execute the script.I checked in the debugging mode,it is showing in the screen that the checkboxes are checked.but at the end of the script when i open the transaction manually the checkboxes are unchecked.
Is their anything to be cautious when recording Checkboxes.If so please pass your comments.

HI Rajender,
Are you using TCD or SAPGUI for the recording.
In either cases make sure that you are passing value "<b>X</b>" to the checboxes in your recording or passing value "<b>X</b>" to the variable you have assigned to the checkboxes.
In general you donot need to take any special care for handling Check boxes and they are identified with both TCD and SAPGUI as part of the standard eCATTS.

Problems with text box borders, tabbing and saving doc in Acrobat Pro 7.1.0

When I view my form document in Acrobat Reader, there is a red border around several text boxes
in which I've selected 'NO border'
Also, I've selected 'column order' for tabbing, but tabs continue to function in order in which I inserted form item (text box, check box or radial button). Since I didn't insert these consecutively, tabs no jump all around the form instead of proceeding in order from top to bottm and left to right.
I've checked for Mac Acrobat Pro updates and see that there are three - 7.1.1, 7.1.3, and 7.1.4, and am downloading them for install.
Do any of the updates fix these problems? Or how can it be fixed?
On opening document in Reader, I also get a message informing that document cannot be saved with changes and must be printed, even though I've created it with fillable forms.
Is there some setting for allowing document to be saved?
I want to be able to have recipient be able to download form, fill it out, save changes, attach to email and return it to me.

This has been a problem since version 8 on the mac. Acrobat 7 on the mac worked fine with the right side trim but not on the PC.
We are still having this problem with Acrobat 9.4.0 on the Mac & PC.
This has now been an issue for 2 versions of Acrobat Pro.(8 & 9)
Being in Pre Press and having to constantly set the trim for jobs, this is now taking up too much time and costing money.
Please fix this Adobe.
and on another note. how hard would it be to display the trim (if set) next to where the page size is?
If the trim is set it should display it! why should we have to go to document/crop pages>trim.
Im in a busy Pre Press Dept and the amount of times you have to check a trim size is stupid.
I always set prefs to display crop / trim / and bleed boxes and this helps but it should display it if its set.

Problem with combo boxes and the reset button in certain situations

Hi Everyone,
i have a problem to make the reset-button function properly in an what-if analysis dashboard.
The dashboard uses two combo boxes that are not visible at the same time. In my application the second combo box only appears when a dedicated menu (label based menu button) has been activated.
So i have combo box 1 when menu A is active an dand combo box 2 when menu 2 is active.
After starting the dashboard initial values are fine. If you then directly change to menu 2 (seeing combo box 2 with
the correct default value) and press the reset button, the dashboard returns to the initial view, showing
the menu 1 with the correct default value. If you now switch back to menu 2, you will see, that the combo box 2
is empty (i.e. nothing selected).
I also tracked the destination cells for the combo box value results as well as the source cells for the "selected item" and the
destination cells for the "Insert Selected Item". All this values seem to be correct. Therefore i assume that
this is an issue of event handling. Maybe the combo box 2 does not refresh its selected value because it is already
invisible when the values are restored.
This case can easily be simulated by placing two combo boxes and a push button (that changes the visibility of
the combo boxes) and the reset button on the canvas.
Maybe someone can help. I am able to provide a test xlf, if neccessary.

label based menu
- General: Insertion Type "value" from a list of ID's for the menu-items to a dedicated cell (current menu ID, say tab1!$A$1)
- Behavior: Selected item (position) fixted to item 1
hidden combo box
- General: Insertion Type "position" to a dedicated cell with the current choice (say tab1!$B$1)
- Behavior: Selected item (position) to the same cell (tab1!$B$1)
Can you give me a hint on how to connect the two components according to your solution, so that the label based menu sets the default for the hidden combox box only in case, that the reset button is pressed?

Problem with clicking noise and using hdapm

I'm having a problem with my 2009 17" MacBook Pro, with Lion. I installed a new, larger hard drive, and ever since then a tinny clicking noise has been emanating from the laptop. I tried to install hdapm, and I am able to successfully download the .dmg file and mount the disk image. However, at this point, all I see is a .pkg file. I clicked to install the program, abd then added the command to Lingon to execute 'hdapm disk0 max' upon startup. However, Console said that it failed to execute this command. I tried entering it directly on Terminal, and still no luck. It should be compatible with my hard drive, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. From what I've gathered, there should be another file in the original disk image that I can move into my Applications folder; however, I could not find it anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to resolve this issue? Thanks!

This is not a disk failure problem, regardless of how there are disk failure modes that act like this. It is a hard disk firmware situation that conflicts with OS hd controllers. It is a problem that comes and goes, or gets less of a problem or more of a problem depending on OS upgrades. Although I have it happening with a Seagate drive, it is reported on Western Digital drives.
It is also not only exclusively a Mac hardware problem or software problem. There are comments on Dell's forums, and even a Seagate firmware upgrade (which I fear to do.) There are also solutions where people boot to Unix, do the fix there, then reboot to Mac and it disappears and stays disappeared.
==>> N.B. – In Lion and the last couple versions of SL, you need to place a 'sudo' in front of the 'hdapm disk0 max'. Then it will work...for a while...maybe.
I have modified versions of the airport plist in the past from 'always on' to 'when needed' and that helps until the OS changes something. Then the same 'fix' won't make the constant head parking stop.
Different combinations of programs will start it up. Sometimes just getting the head busy for a while, like playing songs on iTunes, will stop it and upon closing iTunes will continue to keep it off. (Playing songs with a lot of percussion will not disguise the problem since by the time you try that you will be sensitized to hear the sound even when it is -96dB from ambient.)
A new variation with Lion has been to get the click going a couple minutes !!!after!!! putting the system to sleep! In fact, this problem has never been so uncontrollable as with Lion.
...and that is why I am back searching the forums to see if anyone has an up-to-date solution.

Problem with check-box

I am using flash CS3 and working on flash and ActionScript
3.0.
In a flash application(.swf file), I have "3
images"(converted to movieclips) in 3 different layers, "a
combo-box"(which displays a specific image upon selection in the
combo-box) and "a check-box".
The Functionality of Combo-box is: If we select an image
from combo-box,then a specific image is viewed on output upon
selection. Now, if we click on the image appeared, then there
appears a circle(dot) on the image at (evnt.localX,evnt.localY)
pixel position [I had written ActinScript 3.0 code for this task].
This occurs for all the 3 layers(i.e., on selection of the 3
images).
The Functionality of Check-box is: If check-box is
"selected", it shows dots(circles) and if "not_selected" no dots
are visible(It means, it hides the dots /circles) on the specific
image.
" I think you had understood that---- dots/circles placed on
one image should not be visible when other image is viewed".
If I change the selection of combo-boxes (i.e., image is
changed) and when the check-box is selected, then it is showing all
the dots(circles) of all three images. But, it should show only the
specific dots(circles) that are obtained when clicked on specific
image(i.e., specific selection from combo-box).
Here, instances of our application are as follows(These all
are Movie-Clip instances):
Say, for 3 images: mc_image, mc_image2, mc_image3.
for combo-box: mc_Combobox.
for check-box: mc_Checkox.
Here, the functionality of Check-box is what i need. When we
select the check-box,It must show only the
dots/circles that are related to the image which is selected
from combo-box.
How to do this?
I am new to flash and ActionScript 3.0. Please help me....

the same code is going to execute so how can it skip the condition
in the if block for second time onwards.....

Also as a second thaught you can attach the event listener
for the MouseEvent.CLICK
only when the check box is clicked... you can track this by
using a change event for checkboxes
