Problem with creating links with the WPC (SP14)

Hi,
I have a problem creating links with the WPC (SP14): When I want to create internal links (Browse and select the target item) via the right button (choosing a website as a reference link). If I do so I encounter the problems either that the linked site (outside the WPC) shows a blue background and/ or has no navigation frame (on the left side & no breadcrumb-navigation on top).
If I create links with the left button in the WPC via URLs I have the problem with the inserted URL, because sometimes (I don't know why und when) some parts of the code in the URL changes, so that the linked Website is empty (besides the navigation fram - the content isn't displayed anymore). To me it looks like as if the originally website cannot be "found" anymore.
Does anyone has the same problems and is eventually able to help me? This would be really great. Thanks!

you have also to deploy the following file from Service Marketplace:
Patch for SP14 for KMC WEB PAGE COMPOSER 7.00
Than it will works. The best way is you deploy WPC SP 15.

How can I best create a movie in flash ( .flv ) with a link in the end?

I use iMovie and have QT pro. I want to make a movie with a link in the end of the video: " See more here". Clicking it ( on the video window) would open my website.
Then I want publish it in flv. format, because some people can't use Quicktime.

Thanks for the reply. Actually i don't want any work around (Creating MVLOG on table rather than synonym is fine with me) . I just wanted to know it is actually an oracle bug or something else.

I am facing problem while creating xml with cdata section in it. I am using Oracle 10.1.0.4.0 I am writing a stored procedure which accepts a set of input parameters and creates a xml document from them. The code snippet is as follows:

I am getting list of Named Destinations(Title of the named destinations) using cos object values.
I will be storing those titles in combobox. I want to create link for the selected named destination.
I tried to set destination for the link using cos object value of the selected name destination.
cosPageValue is cos object value of named destination.
CosObj cosArrayDest = CosNewArray( cosDoc, true, 2 );
CosArrayPut( cosArrayDest, 0, cosPageValue );
But it has given me an Unhandled Exception.
I am not able to get destination page number for the named destination.
Please suggest me how do I can create link for the selected named destination?

I seem to recall (don't have the docs handy) that there is a higher level
PDDest object and a PDAction object - you might want to look at using those
higher level objects (created via PDXXXFromCosObj) if you are having trouble
working with Cos.

I have a db table of users, and have created a report based on this table, however I want to have each aphabet letter at the top of the report so that users can click on the letter and see all records where the username field starts with that letter.
How can I achieve this?

Your report query would look something like this (assuming page number is 1):
select some_column1, some_column2
from your_user_table
where username like :P1_INITIAL || '%'
For the letters at the top of the report, here's a couple options:
- If you want all letters to appear whether or not there are any rows, you can create a series of buttons or links, one for each letter, and specify the target URL to submit back to the report page, setting the item P1_INITIAL to each letter.
- If you want only letters that have rows, one way is to create a dynamic LOV based on a query like this:
select distinct upper(substr(username, 1, 1)) d, distinct upper(substr(username, 1, 1)) v
from your_user_table
order by upper(substr(username, 1, 1))
Then use that for a select list with submit, again targeting the report page and setting P1_INITIAL to the selected value.

Problem with opening link in the Avant Browser

The Avant browser, even with flash enabled, isn't
successfully opening the link inside the email notification message
one constructs inside the Share file(e.g., the link to:
www.share.acrobat.com/**********). I get to the URL but the flash
doesn't activate that would take me to the document's download

All-in-all, this is going to be a nice Web app.

I have the same problem - shocked that this hasn't been addressed by Adobe or Microsoft. It began with recent updates. Adobe Reader will not open a .pdf file on the web. I sometimes get the following dialog but mostly I get a blank screen with "Done" in the status bar.
If I open a .pdf from my hard drive I get a message about protected mode. If I click on the link in the message, I get Adobe instructions about turning off protected mode - but it is already turned off. If i cancel that message i can open a local .pdf.

I'm fairly new to JDeveloper and OC4J and am trying to configure the new Financial Brokerage Service (IBFBS) sample to run on my system. I followed all of the setup instructions but have had problems getting the application to work. I've worked through a few issues, but I'm stuck on this one. When deploying/running the application to the JDev embedded OC4J an error occurs when trying to auto-create the tables for some of the EJBs. The error messages are all similar to this:

Firstly, regret for the late response.
I guess what you are trying to do is run the Sample from JDeveloper itself. But this cannot be done, you have to deploy the
sample to the embedded OC4J(<JDEV_HOME>/j2ee/home) bundled with JDev and run the sample from embedded OC4J.
Refer to http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/tutorials/fbs/over/setup.htm and follow the steps to deploy to OC4J.
Curious to know if you were able to run it.

Problem with creating Operation with the BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE

I try to create a routing with operations attached to the default sequence with the BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE, via an external rfc-program.
I have no problems to transfer the Task Header und the MaterialTaskAllocation, but the transfer of the operation allways fails, without an error message. The system creates the Routing without any operation.
Are there some additional fields needed for the tranfer of an operation, in the online documentation there is only
the field OPERATION_ID defined as needed.

Problem to create jar with images

Hello
I have a project, it's a frame with a panel that contains a image, I want to create a Jar, but I have to problems, if create a Jar and execute out the project folder, I can't see the images, if I use getClass().getResource, I have other problems, I can't add panels.
How it's difficult to say, I going to put a link from the project make with eclipse [My project|http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HBPHUWE9] , if someone wants have a look I would be grateful.

If run the program from eclipse, everything it's ok, if I export into jar file, it works if the jar it's inside the project folder, but if I put the jar in other location, doens't load images, I google from answer and I read to put images path like that: new ImageIcon(getClass().getResource("/com/constructor/imagenes/patronConstructor.jpg")); , but if I do that, and run in eclipse, everything it's ok, but If I export into a Jar, I load the image, but when I try to change to other panel it doesn't work.
So I do not what's the answer, if someone check my code, and try to make a jar, and the move the jar file into other location, will be able to see images doesn't appears.
