Problem with cs4 ftp suddenly doesn't work
I have been using Dreamweaver cs4 for several months without incident, and suddenly last night the ftp function stopped working. I get 2 error messages every time I try to upload to any of my sites. The first error message says it cannot make a connection with the host server and the second message says there is an internal error with Dreamweaver. All the sites get the same message when I try to upload. They all worked fine previous to last night. I have not loaded any new software.
I tried passive ftp but it did not work. I tried uninstalling Dreamweaver and reinstalling it but that did not work either. I am running against a deadline to have this new site finished HELP!!!
I've never seen Apple say that unlocking voids the hardware warranty.
Nor have I seen Apple say that unlocking violates the software agreement, since unlocking in the USA is very likely to be exempt from doing so.
I'm trying to locate a link to Apple's statement, but it should be crystal clear to any well educated person that the following came from an Apple statement.

I've problem with Adobe Reader plug-in. When I have open tab with pdf file, my arrow keys don't work in other tabs in firefox, only in this tab where it's open pdf file. Also I noticed that when trying to use the arrows in the other cards, they work on a pdf file.
I'm tried to uninstall and install again Adobe Reader, but it doesn't work. Please help.I solved the problem by reinstall Firefox, because when i turned off Adobe-plugin my pdf file still worked , but arrows still didn't worked. I think, that it wasn't problem with adobe plugin.

It is a lot of work by it depends on you if you want to try.... at the end if not working as varjak paw quoted you may have to replace it...... but don't give up!!!!

New version of Itunes is having problems with crossfading songs, it doesn´t work. How do I fix that?
I installed the new version of Itunes (10.5.2.11) and I have a party playlist in wich I need the songs to crossfade for the music to continue playing non-stop. The problem is that even when the crossfade option is activated, it doesn´t crossfade songs. And when it does, the last song played, keeds playing in backgroung from star, so you hear 2 songs at the same time.
Also, I uninstalled the current version an installed an older version, but it won´t let me open the program, becouse "the iTunes Library was created in a newer vewrsion"

DiegoIt seems that this is a MAJOR issue with MANY end users experiencing the exact same problem - iTunes 10.5.2.11 Crossfade is completely buggy. Apple, get it together, seriously...your QA department should all be fired for this.

One thing to keep in mind, at least what has worked for me: After you make a change to the crossfade timing, you must close out of iTunes and re-open before the new settings take place.
Crossfade timing = 12 seconds actually equates to about 50 seconds.
Click the slider, then use your arrow key to tick over about 20 times - this should crossfade your songs approximately 6 seconds before ending.
Apply, then close out and re-open iTunes...
Peruse through the link above, there are different approaches. Maybe one will work for you.

I was asked to insert support for multiple markers on the map, so that display the number of objects (rows from the database) on the same coordinates: only a marker for more traffic detection sensors; I read about the function enableMultiFeatureMarker (true), but it seems that it was not sufficient to invoke the creation of FOI, is that correct?
How can I do?
We use MapBuilder 11p6 for the creation of markers and styles as required by attribute "multiple-marker = true" in the creation of the marker intended for those sensors, and MapViewer 11p3 to render

CS 4 Dynamic Link to Encore doesn't work most of the time. Encore stops operating after opening and periodically Premier Pro stops working. I'm told that there has been a problem with CS4 when using Dynamic Link to go to Encore and build CD's. Is there a way around this? Is there a patch to correct it?

If DL is not working properly for you the way around this is to export from Premiere to either mpeg2-dvd for DVD or BluRay H.264 for BD-disks and import the files in Encore. -
My Iphone has a problem with the microphone it doesn't seem to work! so there for i can't use Siri anymore.. this has been playing up for some time now. But as my wife & I had a baby 7 Months ago I have not found the time to pop in to the apple store until today (8/12/13) and they told me that they couldn't help as it's out of it's warranty by 57 days

Opening files with Illustrator and photoshop doesn't work, i have to drag the files from finder in to the program.
This problem appears after opening 4 a 5 files, rebooting helps another 4 a 5 times and appears again.I'd recommend reposting in the Boot Camp forum, that is where the Boot Camp and Windows gurus hang out.

My magic mouse behaves erratically with intermittent problems - slows down, right click doesn't work, disconnects for a few seconds then reconnects. Anyone suggest what I could do to fix this?
I just figured out the print quality issue for my wife with her new iMac and new printer.
She replaced both at once and she couldn't understand why her Artisan 730 was lower quality then her Epson R280 when they had the same specs.
Turns out the newer printer had the option to connect via wifi which we used during setup.
The driver options are completely different depending on how you connect.
Once I connected via USB the correct options were available and the print quality was better.
Looking at the R2400 it dies not have wifi, but while researching the problem for my wife someone esle was having an issue updating to the latest printer driver.
If you go into the print utility from the Printer and Scanner system preference and under the general tab you should have driver 5.5.
One user had to delete the old printer driver before Software Update loaded the newer printer driver.

On my MacBook Pro (w Snow Leopard) I always had to reconnect my wifi at home when it woke up. I upgraded my router from an old Netgear to a newer N D-Link and stopped having to do that.
I would be surprised you would have that problem with an Airport Extreme, you might check to see if there is a firmware update for it. -

I have a problem with my touch screen. It works for 1 or 2 minutes and then it stops working for 2 or 3 minutes, this is a loop ! if I don't use for a couple of hours it will work more, about 15 minutes and then stops working !!! whats wrong with may iphone, which part is damaged ?:(

the finger touch part was damaged, they replaced it with a new one and now I have my iphone 4g as it was at first, brilliant like always -
ipone 4s display suddenly doesn't work any more. most of the time i can't even unlock my iphone as it puts the numbers itself. and if i am lucky to unlock it opens apps and does everything else whenever my finger comes near the display without even touching it. I did reset and also updated my operating system. But the problem stills shows up... can anyone help please?

email send/receive suddenly doesn't work (as of September 24th); I can't change email settings (one suggestion from tech) as BB phone won't accept *valid* username and password -- what to do?
I understand from a support note that if I keep trying my password/username combination, my BB will eventually delete all data!
I can't understand this. I'm completely lost now. I can't remember what I've done or tried to do. A plethora of usernames and passwords is swimming in my head.
Thanks for any hints. I have always loved this BB Bold and have never had any trouble with it.But the real question is why for the past year did the passwords work and then all of the sudden after this anomaly the disk password doesn't work? I'm not 100% sure of what my configuration was, but I know that most of the time it required one password -- supervisor, and occasionally it asked for 2 -- disk password as well I believe. This may have been related to the Password on Restart setting I think -- asking for the disk password on cold vs. warm boot. But I know both were exactly the same. But after this incident only the Supervisor password worked.

IChat video suddenly doesn't work...
My fiancee and I have been using iChat for the last few years - the video and audio have always worked fine. She is in the USA and I'm in England until we get married in November. Last night, when I got home from work, it suddenly doesn't work. I'm on a MacBook running 10.4.11 and use AIM on iChat and she is on AIM on a Windows Vista laptop. I have a different Error code in my Log.
You have Error 8
This is a bit of general coverall error code.
It means that it cannot make a Connection (it has excluded other items such as Internet Speed (Error 22) and issues over routing (error 7) and a "missing" camera)
One cause is when you set up Port Forwarding in your router for iChat and then the computer's IP Changes
This means the router is "pointing" the ports to one IP and the computer has another.
You have the three titles in ther Log (which I have now spaced out)
Normally there is more info in these sections.
The rest of the Log is not useful at this stage (I can't see that it mentions any iChat add-on)
Check the IP in use in System Preference > Network.
Compare this with any IP that is listed for Port Forwarding in the router.
Ideally the router should be using UPnP to open the ports (it lets your do Screen Sharing in iChat)
The router should not be doing Ping Blocking or have any DoS or SPI Security Filters
